Amazing beef jerky and brisket. Also the buffalo wing jerky is my new favorite!!! It’s chicken breast! The owner is so sweet and knowledgable about all the hot sauce. There are hundreds. Slap yo mama is what we eat regularly at our house. I am definitely a regular customer after our last visit!

Always good !!! I make it a point on my road trips to stop here. The store is clean. They have bathrooms, thats very considerate, this after all is in the middle of CA to AZ, above all the jerky is the bomb I have tried most all of them. Buffalo and Turkey are my favs. The turkey jerky are a little more soft to chew so I buy all the flavors. The staff is alway nice helpful and welcoming and coming here is a highlight of my road trips. They also have other things like candies sodas and fun hot sauces, I have gotten a few for bbqs and never been disappointed. If you need help just ask the staff as they are always insightful !!!

Love this place! If you are a Jerky lover you should always stop here before going to the Colorado River! But Jerky is only part of their selection– chocolate, Honey, Dried fruit… It’s all amazing! The lady that works the counter is so sweet and is really knowledgable! We will be back!

Like others before me, I saw the signs on the side of the road while approaching Parker on the way to Havasu. I am absolutely in love with jerky… like able-to-eat-multiple-bags-a-day in love with jerky. I purchased the hot pork. I sure wish I had bought more. I ate it all it one sitting. I have a pretty high threshold for spicy, and after one sitting, even I had a bit of fire in my mouth. The flavor was amazing, though, and I am definitely getting more from their website. The only reason why it’s a 4 and not a 5 star review is that it is a little pricy. It’s also a touristy place, so this review really leans toward 4.5 but I had to choose.

My dad always picked up jerky from this place during his travels, so recently I got to pop in with him in Parker and experience Daniel’s. The lady at the counter offered up plenty of free samples. I wound up with a maple pork jerky(very tasty, really sticks to hands, bring wet wipes.) My dad said it tasted like candy, which is true. Also picked up some black licorice caramels. Jerky isn’t cheap– $ 8 or so, and you save some money if you buy 3 of them. The caramels were $ 5 and were individually wrapped which is nice. Lots of hot sauce, sweets and snacks here too. Quirky little boxcar houses the jerky.

Daniel’s reminded me of an old timey general store. There are jars of dried fruits, nuts, candies and hot sauces along one wall and all sorts of jerky on another. I picked up the Cowboy Beef and Sweet & Hot Brisket jerky here. They both tasted so good and were a perfect snack for the drive home from Havasu! The lady at the front offered samples of a couple kinds. Buffalo jerky intrigued me but decided to pass it up. Couldn’t pass up scorpion lollis though! They also sell ants encased in sugar if that floats your boat. Nice place.

Saw the signs(like everyone, right?) boasting of «really good, fresh jerky» while on the way out to Havasu. Well, it stuck in our brains, because we decided to pit stop on the way back to San Diego. The place itself is incredibly quaint and cute, a one-room, boxcar-shaped building in the middle of nowhere. But the inside is actually very appealing, especially with the walls loaded full of jerseys, hot sauce, dried fruits, honeys and an assortment of other goodies. They have samples, and the old woman inside is super endearing and cute. If you don’t like your kids to see vulgar language, probably avoid this place. The sauces are almost all some kind of curse word pun, which — to me — gives them some character. Not a huge fan of the cowboy jerky(which was suggested), but all the others I had were pretty delicious. Worth a stop for sure.

I used to make it a point to stop at Daniel’s every time we got gas on the way out of Parker. And the jerky used to be amazing. And then something changed. Bought 3 packs of Jerky yesterday-Sweet Heat, Maple pork and Teriyaki and they were dry. Tough. Make your jaw hurt because they were like chewing hide tough. The flavor is still fantastic, but the quality was terrible. I am not sure if I got an old package or if it’s just terrible quality now. I’m not sure I’ll be going back.

Jerky is on point. We got the 3 for 20 deal, just wanna try. we got 2 sweet and spicy and a cowboy one. So far I just tasted the cowboy and it’s awesome! It’s a cute little shop, there are a lot of cool items and some labels are with profanity though so it’s perfect for like a souvenir or something but just don’t bring your kids when buying ‘em. I wouldve easily give a 4 star, but the lady, and I don’t want to be rude but, she was coughing like CRAZY. I felt bad. But then again, working at a food place, and then doing customer service, it’s not professional. or right. Maybe I’m just being a girl on this but then again, I work at a restaurant, so… yeah. Anyway. lol But all in all, cute store, good Jerky, great pistachios and dried mangoes! On pistachios I got the chile lemon and garlic ones, each for 7 bucks and for the dried mangoes I got the Chamoy and chile flavored ones for 5 bucks each.

Perfect beef jerky and candy. Nothing fancy about the place. Gravel parking lot, bungalow style ‘store.’ The lady was super nice, my only real gripe is it’s in the middle of nowhere and it’s kind of expensive. Otherwise, if you’re coming back from BFE and this spot is on the way, stop in for an awesome road snack.

They keep lessening the meat quality! They were 5 star, meat was juicy, tender, yummy! Then, made a change in the meat, earned them a lesser 4 star, now if it wasn’t for the flavor I’d give them a negative rating. Booh for changing! PLEASE go back to your original recipe and I’ll go back to buying boxes full over the internet during the winter and stop by every weekend on the way to Havasu during the summer!

I have been going here every time I drive out to my Mom’s, and I love stopping by. They have delicious jerky, and tons of samples. They said the Cowboy Jerky, Teriyaki Jerky, and Sweet and Spicy Jerky are the top three, and I definitely agree. I also love stopping by to buy some candy, they basically have everything you could want. Today, we bought sour gummy worms and choco-silver nuggets? I don’t know if that’s what its called, but basically its chocolate covered in «silver», which is really cool and yummy. Basically they are like M&M’s, which are always delicious. Anyway, my point is I would recommend going there and stopping by. Definitely try something new like the alligator jerky(which is pretty good, tastes like chicken).

First time I tried their jerky, my sis brought some home for me. She, knowing how much of a beef jerky lover I am, surprised me with a package of hot beef brisket. Oh man was it tasty! Yeah your fingers get a little sticky and dirty but boy is it worth it! I’ve never had wet jerky before so this was a definite treat! Since then I’ve been back to visit the cute little store. They have a wall lined with all kinds. From turkey to pork, sweet and spicy, cowboy and wet. Trust me, you’ll be standing at that wall for quite some time trying to make your pick. Their jerky is a little steep but it really is «really good fresh jerky». We usually stick to the wet jerkys. Hot beef brisket is my personal favorite. Can’t wait to go to Havasu and get jerky for the ride home!

ok, I am a jerky junky. I thought to myself, a jerky place in the middle of the desert? It is either true or a hoax to get people to stop. It worked, I stopped. THe service was great. A nice lady was tending to us, friendly beautiful eyes and answered all the questions we had. They had various samples to try, all good, I ended up spending about $ 40 on jerky and then I bought some candy, hot sauce and honey. Let me tell you I wish we had a place like this in LA. Who knows, maybe there is I just haven’t found it. The jerky was awesome! I had the cowboy, maple pork, BBQ beef, hot beef and carne asada. Let me tell, you there maybe better, but like they say in St. Louis, SHOWME! So far, this has to be some of the best jerky I have had. It was hot in this part of the world when I stopped by!

Was driving back from Phoenix and came upon this oasis in the desert. He offers SAMPLES! Wow! I purchased about $ 80 worth of dried fruit(spicy dried mango) and jerky. Most was gone before I arrived at my destination 7 hours later. This is really good stuff! This is worth a trip out-of-your-way to get here, but he also has website.

Verrry cute stop along the way to Havasu! And they have really good fresh jerky! I tried the spicy and sweet tender beef jerky and the original pork. Both were very good and really fresh! They were considered the«tender» type of jerky. We tried hard jerky(the Cowboy one) which was okay. It was too hard and bland. Stick to tender jerky when you go!

This is a really neat place to stop and stretch your legs after a long drive on the 10 freeway. Jerky is $ 8 for a 4oz bag or three bags for $ 20 which is pricey but hey, it’s a tourist stop and I’m a tourist so what the hell. Flavors in beef jerky are pepper, sweet & hot, bbq, carne asada, hot, colon cleaner hot, sweet & spicy, teriyaki, cowboy, and original. They also have buffalo, turkey, pork, salmon, and tuna. They have free samples of pretty much every flavor. Besides jerkies they have hot sauces, bloody marry mixes, bbq sauces, marinades, dry rubs, dried fruits, nuts, candies, huge selection of olives, pure honey from Arizona. We purchased some candy, jerky, and olives. I would of given this place five stars due to it’s awesome selection, friendly service, and spotless bathrooms but I noticed just not when writing it into my check book that he charged me a 50 cent surcharge for using my debit card. That’s Bullsh*t especially when I wasn’t warned.

Just like everyone else, I was bamboozled by the signs boasting of really, really, good jerky. Drove past this place several times so we finally decided to stop. It’s a fairly small store, packed with every hot sauce under the sun, dried fruits and nuts, and of course… jerky. The salesperson was very helpful, patient, and sweet. We ended up doing the 3 for $ 20 deal and tried alligator, buffalo, and their best-seller… cowboy jerky. Alligator and buffalo? Eh. But the cowboy jerky was the best jerky that I’ve had. I will definitely be stopping in and picking up 3 bags of it the next time I go!

They have tony of hot sauces, olives, driet fruits, nuts and jerky. It’s pretty good & I think it was 3 bags for $ 20 which is normal for beef jerky. It’s located in a little boxcar thing off the road.

We randomly came across Daniel’s Really Good Fresh Jerky by chance on our drive from Lake Havasu to Phoenix. We saw signs and billboards that said«Daniel’s Really Good Fresh Jerky» off Highway 95 and thought it was some townie joke. Baby, this place does NOT play around! It was seriously, THEBEST jerky I have ever had. We snatched up 3 delicious bags of jerky for $ 20. They have every flavor you could ever want in jerky, such as elk, buffalo, venison, ostrich, turkey, and salmon, and it’s all good stuff. They also have dried fruits and nuts that are of equally good quality. None of that dehydrated stuff, but plump, juicy dried apricots. Best pit-stop at a mom n’ pop that I’ve ever made!
