I called them today to verify an appointment for my groupon this weekend and got their answering machine. They are now closed for good. If you have a groupon or other weekly special, contact those companies directly for a full refund. If you have a gift certificate, the message gives you info on how to get your money back directly. And if you were on a monthly payment plan, you will either be not charged or get a refund depending on if you were prepaid. It looks like they were unable to sustain poor reviews combine with little to no profits from the groupon offer.

Disappointed!!! A facial should be more than a face wash and hydrating mask. The body wrap was a herbal pad and saran wrap around my stomach. The mani/pedi ok at best. This groupon was not even worth the 69.00.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I had purchased the groupon! This place is terrible! I agree with every reviewer here. This was such a disappointment. The atmosphere was terrible. The place is next to a tattoo shop in a run down wooden shack type building. The room where the facial/body wrap was done was so dark and dank. The carpet is stained. The woman who gave the facial must not enjoy her job nor spending time with people. I think I overheard she was the owner. The facial I received was the«Summer facial»(in late October) but then the woman corrected herself and stated it was the fall facial. Which would help with all the chlorine and sun I had exposed myself to all summer. Huh?! I haven’t been in a pool since last year and do not leave the house without tons of sunscreen on ever. She NEVER asked me if I had any concerns about my skin, couldn’t explain what the body wrap was. Just that it releases toxins and to not expect any inch loss in my waist line. The body wrap was ridiculous and yes freezing. I was left on my own to let my mask and body wrap sink in. The walls are paper thin in this place and I could hear everything everyone was saying in the next room. Also I could feel the floor move when people were walking around and hear the stomping their feet made. When it was time to get dressed she cut the wrap off and then left the room. I had to grab some paper towel and wipe my stomach off or else I would have had whatever greasy stuff that was in the wrap all over my clothes. My face was bright red when I left, and stayed that way for the entire day and into the night. I wasn’t told that this might happen nor how long it would last. Nor was I ever told what was put on my face exactly. I have many facials and this has NEVER happened to me before. During the facial I asked if I could get my eyebrows waxed quickly and the woman sighed and huffed like I asked to borrow $ 50. She said they were very busy and wouldn’t have time. I apologized for asking and said I just hoped that they’d have the time. What salon would look down on making more $ for a 5 minute thing? Then after a few minutes she said, well I could just clean them up for you. I said OK that would be great. Then she left me to soak in my mask for a while. Came back wiped off everything, cut off my body wrap and then told me to go ahead and get dressed and move on to get my mani/pedi. I guess I didn’t deserve an eyebrow clean up… The mani/pedi was OK. The nail polish selection was horrible and the polishes had to be years old. My nails look terrible with thick gunky nail polish. I just can’t believe what a rip off this place was. I was so floored at just about everything that happened to me there I was rendered dumb/speechless. That’s never happened to me before. EVER.

Lesson learned for a hasty groupon purchase, I suppose! I recall trying to schedule my appointment a few months ago and the people on the phone were not exactly courteous. I got a(much improved) friendly reminder the day before my appointment and they asked that I come in a few minutes to fill out paperwork. Once I got there, I found that to be pretty funny because it was basically an index card with some info about my skin… and that’s why I have to get there 15 minutes early? I did make sure to note my allergy to tree nuts, since I’ve had an issue with some body lotions & oils before. I got the body wrap and facial first. I must say, I wasn’t really thrilled that I was asked to strip down to bra & panties, and then the lady swung the door wide open when coming back into the room. Well, hello anyone else that might happen to be walking by! The body wrap was pretty comical — some sort of mentholated paper slapped around your midsection and saran-wrapped around. My biggest qualm with the so-called body wrap(besides the«fact» that it’s supposed to make you lose inches) is that is was FREEZING cold! Could they not have propped it up right next to the hot plate that was on the counter top? While my belly soaked up the mentholated meh-ness, I was given a facial. I was pretty disappointed that this facial seemed in no way to be specialized to my skin type. I felt pretty greasy afterwards when I was shuffled over to the mani/pedi. The pedi was really nice, except for the fact that they didn’t seem to know which nuts are tree nuts and went ahead and prepped the foot bath with almond oils. Not that everyone should know which nuts are tree nuts off the top of their head, but they knew it had SOME nuts in it so couldn’t they just have asked first before having me stick my feet in? They cleaned out the foot bath and re-ran with mango oils instead. The mani was pretty good, but the polish must have been really old — looked like crap when I left, topcoat peeled off really easily, and took for-friggin-ever to get off my nails with polish remover. Boooh!

Wow, what a disappointment. I too bought the groupon for the spa package. When I called to make my appointment the person who answered sighed and acted as if I was inconveniencing her because I wanted to make an appointment. When I explained that I could be there first thing on a Thursday morning, she seemed to lighten up. This is the point where I should say that I was using this as my pre-wedding pampering for mani-pedi, wrap and facial. Risky, yes. I know. I had a little trouble finding the place since I plugged the address into my GPS and it lead me somewhere else. I called to clear up the directions and the lady again acted so put out. When I arrived, she basically ripped the printed groupon out of my hands and waved it in front of my face saying, «See this map, this is where we are. That’s why maps are on the groupon.» Ok, sort of my fault, but A: I wasn’t late and B: thanks for making me feel so welcome right off the bat. The place is so run down. You enter in a SCREEN door and step into a cramped place that feels more like an old office than a spa! They asked me if I wanted anything to drink and I said water. I got in 45 minutes later. The gal who did my pedi was so sweet and nice and I will say she did a great job. The reason they don’t clip your cuticles is because that’s dangerous – I had to problem with that. I did get creeped out by the giant ANTS crawling across the floor. The gal who did my mani smelled like an ashtray even though she came in and sprayed Febreze on herself. She was shaking so badly I didn’t know how a french would ever look right. But it was a good job. Next was the«herbal wrap.» It was a sheet of wet menthol paper that was slapped on my belly and then I was wrapped with saran wrap. Then I laid down for my facial. The menthol is cooling, but I was FREEZING. Finally I asked for another blanket and that helped a little bit. The facial was basically just a good wash. They used good products so my skin looked great, but I could have done all of that at home. When I was checking out the same rude lady told me to make sure I come again. Ha.

I have been to many spas. This is one of the least relaxing experiences of my life. I got a «Spa Package» from Groupon for here: 45-minute body wrap, seasonal 30-minute facial, spa manicure, and spa pedicure. This place is in dire need of a paint job. It has the abience of a truck stop. It is extrememly cramped and falling apart. My pedicure was okay, but as I was getting my manicure, I had to scoot really close to the table so that the pedicurist could squeeze behind me to give the next person their pedicure. They both had to share all of the creams and cuticle stuff. I felt in the way. Not relaxing at all. After that was the«wrap and facial». The so called wrap was this thing they do to «lose inches». They put a menthol smelling pad on my stomach and then wrapped my middle tightly with regular ol’ plastic wrap. I have had herbal wraps at other spas that made you feel cozy and relaxed, not this by a long shot. They could have at least asked me which area I would have liked it done on, I would have picked a different area — not that it worked(I didn’t notice any difference). While I was laying in plastic wrap for 30 min, another lady did my facial. This was rough and I felt as if she really didn’t want to be doing it. The«mask» she put on my made my eyes burn and they were puffy and burning for the rest of the day. I don’t expect every day spa to be like the ones at a luxury resort, but this was bad. I had better experiences getting a back rub by the chinese lady at the mall. I will not be going back.
