I just stopped in to pick up balloons and party supplies for my mother’s 60th. Two women who work there were in the balloon area, one younger gal and an older woman who seemed to be the owner or manager. I approached them to ask if they had 60th-specific party supplies. They continued their conversation and were unphased by me standing at the counter waiting for them to pause so I could ask my question. When they finally did look my direction, I asked about where I could find what I needed, and the older woman seemed offended I interrupted their conversation. She rudely pointed and said«two aisles down!» I gathered up a few items, and picked out some balloons that were ridiculously expensive, and noticed there was nobody in sight to help with checking out customers nor filling up balloons. Another shopper was wandering around the registers waiting for someone to appear to check her out. I put my things away and left without buying anything. Why spend money at a place where you need to ask for customer service, then treated badly once you do? Safe to say I will never be going back. Very rude personnel.

Beyond expectations on customer service! When I called looking for«something shamrock» for a close friend in the ICU(no flowers, no balloons, no fun), Cindy put together a gift covered in shamrocks that was«hospital-approved» and she DELIVERED it herself… on St. Patrick’s Day… an hour after I called her. St. Patrick’s Day is special to my friend, and she needs the luck of the Irish right now. Cindy is an angel. She really came through for us, and didn’t take advantage of my distance(out of state) and desperate need to get shamrocks to someone in a bad spot. I still have lots of friends in Parker and Denver, and will send them all here for any party or special occasion needs! Cindy rocks! Thank you!

Unfortunately, my experience at the store was terrible. If you have to do business with these people, unpack and check all of your items at the time of sale. Their return/exchange policy, while clear at the time of the sale, has no leeway whatsoever for unusual occurrences. The owners(a husband/wife) are very condescending, rude, and, in my opinion, not good businesspeople. In my case, they were more concerned with challenging my wife and son’s integrity than with accommodating a simple exchange request, which ultimately cost them $ 100+ in additional sales.

I purchased some electronics items, decorations that require batteries, and their return policy on those is that they are for exchange only. Not for credit or money back. They told me this when I bought them, but my understanding was that I could exchange them for another electronic item within the same department, not necessarily the exact same one. Unfortunately, the items I purchased did not work well. I bought several of the same thing and they all had the same problem. I took them back and they said that I could exchange them for others of the same item. I didn’t want to waste more time trying to get more cheap, faulty items to work so I decided not to exchange them. In the future, I won’t buy electronic gadgets from there. I’ll look on Amazon for highly rated items instead.

If you need themed party gear — you go to Party America. They might not be the cheapest, but they have great selection on anything from a tiki party to a wedding! If I need party specific stuff, this is the place to go! Plus a great place to get costumes if you need to play dress up :)
