We have had some basement flooding issues and they came highly recommended by our Allstate agent, Michelle Colazzi. Scott Nuttall came out an helped us figured out the problems, easy ways to fix them, made sure there was no mold damage and didn’t even charge us for coming out. The fixes he recommended worked perfect!

Our water heater developed a sudden leak and dumped a significant amount of water onto our basement floor. Scott Nuttall, the owner of the local franchise was not only responsive and prompt, but he lead the clean-up personally and came out each of the next two days to check on the progress of the job. I would definitely recommend Scott and his team and will use them again if the need arises!

I used PuroClean to handle water damage in one of my rental properties due to my hot water heater leaking onto the basement carpet. I would feel remiss if I didn’t mention a few things that resulted in my overall disappointment in Puroclean as a Denver restoration service: a. Hidden fees, such as per trip charge, monitor charge, meet w/adjuster charge, debrief w/owner/tenant charge, etc. are assessed that were not clearly communicated/discussed and approved by the client. b. Assessing a $ 167 emergency fee as part of the first trip when there was clearly no emergency represented by the client. The client/insurance company was simply requesting a free estimation. And again, no actions were taken by Puroclean at the property until 6 days after the incident. c. Puroclean’s deceptive business practices in terms of exaggerating the amount of equipment required to properly dry a carpet and pad that has undergone minor water damage. When Puroclean first got on the scene they pushed for the use of 8 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers for 3 days at $ 400+/day. They also felt unequivocally that my insurance provider(State Farm) would consider this a «category 3 water loss»(as they defined it) in which the carpet and pad would most certainly be replaced. As I later realized, this direction was way out of proportion. The wall, carpet, and pad were completely dry within 2 days with the use of only 2 air movers and 1 dehumidifier. The carpet stains were then removed with a basic carpet cleaning service. Luckily the tenant had company in town that particular weekend of the incident which pushed off the drying process to the following week in which I directed Puroclean to use the bare minimum in terms of drying equipment; especially after understanding from Puroclean that there was a good possibility that State Farm would deem the carpet and pad a throw-away item. My greatest advice if you choose to work with this company is to get everything in writing«before» any work is actually initiated. And always get at least 2 to 3 written estimates before initiating any work. I personally will never work with Puroclean again!
