I have been coming to this salon sporadically since high school. Since then it has changed names and ownership several times but it now called KB Nails.
Most recently I have been coming in about every three weeks for a shellac manicure. I liked coming here because I could get it done on my lunch break and they are cheaper than other salons and do not charge you to remove your old shellac. However, the past few times I have been in I noticed that the manicure was only lasting about five days before it started cracking and my nails would break. It was the same lady doing my nails. To try to correct this I made an appointment this time and also added a shellac pedicure (treat myself for my bday!).
I went in after work on Friday and was excited to have a little relaxation and pampering. What I realized is while this place is great for a quick lunch hour manicure it is horrible for some spa-​like relaxation. I started with the pedicure and while I was in the chair a second lady came and started on my nails. I had to twist to the side to accommodate her working on my nails. Later I was getting shellac on my toes so had one foot in a machine and trying to balance with my other foot while the lady doing my fingers puts a shellac machine in my lap. It was a total balancing act and uncomfortable! I understand it from an efficiency standpoint but it was awful for me because I wanted to enjoy this.
Not to mention, the technician I requested was working on someone else when I went in. Why did I even make an appointment with her then? Also, they are too rough I have bloody cuticles hat have now turned to scabs and one of my fingertips swelled up. I was nervous I got some sort of infection from the tools.
I have had my last visit to this salon. I will fork over some more money to have an enjoyable experience. It is too bad because my first several experiences were great. It went downhill in a hurry

So I think that this QNails was bought and is now called KB Nails. So, under new ownership, and I have to say I am 100% satisfied today!!! I had a pink and white acrylic rebase and a deluxe pedicure. Both are fantastic! My nails look great and the pedicure was to die for. Thank you Tina– very happy!

Wow! Fails to ask what kind if pedicure — than does «deluxe“and charges !
Says callous removal extra — isn’t that part of a pedicure? and crappy paint !
Do not recommend !! Grrrr

By far the worst customer service i have ever received. My wife and i went to get a pedicure, there was only one person to help us, my wife sat with her feet in water for 30 min. They had started on mine but left to do a waxing for another customer that came in after us. After waiting long enough to have my feet go numb we left and will NEVER! Be back!
