So we ordered on Christmas, and this isn’t the normal Chinese restaurant I ordered from but delivery was free and they were open. I wasn’t expecting much, there weren’t any reviews that came so there was no way of gauging their food for me. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp and it was delicious. They use good size shrimp and the veggies were well cooked but not mushy. We also ordered egg rolls, they weren’t remarkable by any means but they did put big chunks of shrimp in there which I liked. They delivery was fast and they were super nice. I def will order from them again. :)

I wish I didn’t have to rate the place 2 stars, but the chicken chow mein barely had any sauce and was super bland. I also never see it made with carrots, but it was. We also ordered the General Sao chicken and that barely had any sauce. The meat was also slimy in half of the chicken. Really not a fan and I love Chinese food. The only thing I enjoyed was the miso soup. I will not be ordering again unfortunately… Very nice people and fast delivery service, but the food wasn’t up to par in my opinion.

I seldom write reviews but I had to this time! I can’t even remember the last time I got an order of General tso’s, delivery none the less, and it actually came with the authentic flavored sauce… Thick, spicy and full of flavor! The Neapolitan flavored fortune cookies were a perfect finishing touch! Happy China in Parkville FTW!!! Thank you!

I ordered takeout this past week from Happy China for the first time. I decided to give it a try since it is close to home. The food was so good! The portions are large and everything was so fresh. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly. I’m looking forward to getting takeout from Happy China again soon!

first time ordering here so we got a variety: pu pu platter fried dumplings pork egg foo young dinner special with fried rice and won ton soup sweet and sour chicken with white rice and won ton soup salmon and California roll combo used the coupon for free crab wontons the above costed $ 39 told me 20 mins, they were putting it together when I arrived– looked like the lady was waiting to scoop rice so that it would be hot for us. I’m okay with waiting a few minutes for hot food. everything was good, crispy and hot. pu pu platter was good– very good shrimp toast. fried dumplings– not mushy and they gave us a lot! salmon was fresh and California roll was thick. the rice was very sticky :) we have plenty for leftover lunch tomorrow. the boyfriend was a big fan of the fried rice. the woman packing the food/ringing us up was friendly and asked me for whatever sauces I wanted. their house hot mustard is thick and spicy. overall– good portions, hot food, and not greasy. we will probably order from here again.

I really wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. I went to grab carry out from here to take home for my family. I was able to place my order quickly. I sat at one of the four available tables and it was sticky. There was no air conditioning in the place– the door was open and a fan sat, unplugged in the corner. A small child(I assume the worker’s son) sat at another table and was playing on a tablet. He was listening to random kid videos on youtube at full volume. Between the heat and the noise, it was a VERY long 15 minute wait. I was very excited to dig into the food when I got home. That’s when my family and I had the worst Chinese food that we’ve ever had. The fried rice was so bland and only had carrots in it. The mongolian beef was just beef in a sauce with no flavor. The lo mein was overcooked and had exactly two shrimp in it. I didn’t even try the general Tso’s chicken because it looked so fatty. And the soup was so bad that I didn’t even get halfway through it. Moreover, the portions were a bit small for the price(but at least that meant less to eat). I’m not a Chinese food expert by any means and I’m not especially picky when it comes to my Chinese food. Even though this is the closest restaurant to my house, I will gladly drive somewhere else to get reasonably prepared Chinese food.
