The students and teachers are very supportive of each other. The shows are a lot of fun. The students learn and grow so much over each semester. We could not be happier with David, Matt, Kyle, and the rest of the staff at SOR KC-Parkville!

We’ve been taking lessons here for three years and our son loves it. The staff is great with kids. I was surprised by open the staff was to letting them try different instruments during the shows. It’s a very positive encouraging environment. You won’t have to motivate your kids to practice once they are in the band program. They won’t want to let down their friends by showing up to band practice un-prepared.

Would love to see these kiddos perform something current. I understand learning from some of the oldies but goodies but I’ve never observed anything current being publicly performed. Music doesn’t live in the past, there’s no market for these kids to be good at songs from the 1970’s and 80’s. Grow SOR, grow past old school music and evolve these kids into something they can do something with. Step out of the Billy Joel, Rolling Stones, Foreigner, ACDC, ect. and walk into the future of music. Response, Yep, I’ve been there many many mannnny times. I chose to do this review because I have been there, and to numerous shows over the last several years.
