Massage Envy – Parsippany

Had a massage with Grace. She was wonderful. Will return and have a massage with Grace.

Nice girls working at front desk, but I left feeling extremely unhappy. I arrived to my appointment 20 mins early (since it was my first time & they took my cc info before hand I wanted to make sure I was there on time) My massage started 20 mins late!!! I assumed it would just end later as well –NOPE! It ended early bc they didn’t want to get behind with their appointments. It was freezing and when I told the girl she said there was nothing she could do. Cold was an understatement –it was freezing!

In the end they took two dollars off my bill! I paid $ 58 instead of $ 59.99.
Just Ridiculous

MY Groomer Traci gets 5 Stars, I followed her from the Wayne Massage Envy. The staff at the front desk used to be extremely organized, however, lately the «New» people are making mistakes up front, like giving WRONG appt time put in, and just un organized in general. Massage Envy would get 5 Stars if there STAFF was as good as Traci.

I’ve Been to this Massage Envy location and the other local locations, Morris Plains, Rockaway, NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Hand and Stone Spa in Morristown, NJ is much much better Than Massage Envy! Therapists are better. The staff is very client friendly and focused on great customer service and experience. The staff is fun and seem to have a good time working there. No pressure sale at all. I signed up for the program. no term commitments. Love this place. I would not go back to a Massage Envy again. This is a legit review. I hope Unilocal doesn’t bury this on the «not recommended page»

I’ve not had a good experience at Any Massage Envy and this was no different. I booked a 90 minute massage. Most of the time was spent on pressure points instead of massage. After a while I just wanted it to be over. I found the desk people disorganized. Just not a good experience as usual. I won’t be going back to ANY Massage Envy ever again

Very inconsistent quality. Some massage therapists are so bad that it leaves you wondering if they are just practicing on you or going through the motions.
New owners (as of February 15, 2015) Dave and Doreen Ellinwood (
) did not take responsibility for their staff’s mistakes. They appear to have no interest in customer service. I cancelled and rejoined at the much better Massage Envy in Morris Plains.
Everyone should be aware of the Class Action lawsuit against Massage Envy for the awful way they deal with clients who have accrued massages which they have already paid for.

First off, the spa was very clean and the girls at the front were very polite and helpful. I had a massage with Renea and she was great. I told her how my back was in serious pain and she worked on it. She was gentle like I asked but was firm enough to work on my problem areas. I’ve been receiving massages for 5+ years and I would definitely visit this location again.

I’ve only had two masseuse from there. Traci does an AMAZING massage. I have a very bad back and neck and she works my knotts out. Does it hurt, yes but its not her fault. Im the one with the screwed up back. Lol. Angela was good too. I prefer traci. Shes always booked so must call ahead. Never gotten a facial but I would rather go to a spa for that
I gave it 3 stars not because of the services or professionalism because there definitely good with that its jus the pricing. I’m amember and they keep raising my dollar amount. I signed up for 59 $ plus tax. And it keeps going up.
But definitely ask for Traci.

The Best Massage Envy
I have been using this Massage Envy for almost a year now and I am so happy with them I just needed to share. The staff listens to everything I need or say & my masseuse is perfect for me! I recommend this Massage Envy to everyone because they know the secret is to listen. If you aren’t satisfied with something they always work extra hard to make it right. I have had facials and massages here & I recommend both!

This is my 2^nd massage at this location in the last year or so. I hadn’t been back in a while since the last massage I got (right after they opened) wasn’t great. I decided to give them another shot since I was pretty sore after a run over the weekend.
I asked for someone who did sports massage, and they gave me to someone at my preferred time, which was great. I got to the location and found it pristine and very nicely appointed.
I can’t say all bad things about my massage. Parts of it were very relaxing and she did a decent job everywhere she worked on. Unfortunately, I had specifically mentioned my calf/​achilles pain, and less than 5 minutes was spent on the area combined. Also, she never even got to my hamstrings, which were also particularly tight. She spent more time on my arms than she did anywhere else.
Also, they had me fill out a new medical sheet when I came in, and I checked off that I did not want facial or scalp massage, and this is where she spent the first few minutes.
I left with almost as much discomfort as I came in with, and am fairly certain I will not be coming to this location again.
If you’re local, try the Florham Park location. I’ve never had a bad massage or facial there.

I went to Massage Envy with my mother. She bought me a massage. Jan was my lady and she was FANTASTIC, definitely ask for her when you go! She even gave me an extra 15 minutes cause she knew I was celebrating an achievement. Definitely will go back
