THEWORSTSERVICE. The man working the counter did not show up until after the store opened, and then was obviously very annoyed that people were actually in line to pick up their trucks. I got this Uhaul in January when I was moving my home. Much to my delight, I was sent out in the UHaul in the snow, onto I-80, and when the salt starting kicking up, I went to turn on the windshield wiper and low and behold, no windshield wiper fluid. Nothing, not one drop. Without risking completely ruining my day, I will not elaborate on what happened next at the customer service counter as I was shaking so badly from the time I arrived back(as I could see NOTHING but white and could not stop or pull over on the interstate… I physically could not see…). I have never been so angry and scared in my life and the man working the counter completely played if off as «sorry for the inconvenience». INCONVENIENCE? It’s winter and I almost was killed! And you send me with nothing? I was surprised there was even gas in it. I demanded an answer as to why the fluid was not filled, and I was told after much duress that«he clearly doesn’t have time to check these trucks for that«CRAP». This man deserves to be fired. I even have a photo of this truck when I pulled in… NEVEREVEREVEREVEREVERAGAIN will I use or recommend Uhaul or anyone that is affiliated with them. Do yourself a favor and don’t either.

Absolutely infuriating. I reserved a truck(online) for 8:30 am. When I arrived at the U-Haul store, they were closed. I had movers coming at 9:00am — who were being paid by the hour. When the guy working the store finally showed up at 9:40am, he rudely told us that the store did not open until 9:30. When we pointed out that it was past 9:30, he began yelling at us and eventually refused service. We walked out and went to a Penske. Their service was prompt and their sales reps were polite and friendly. I called the U-Haul customer service to make them aware of my experience. I also sent an e-mail to their customer service team. I never received any response and when I called, I was greeted with rude sales reps who defended the U-Haul brand rather than apologizing to their customer. Don’t ever consider using this U-Haul location, or U-Haul in general.
