I like the food here enough to keep ordering, but… Last night was the second time in a row that our food delivery took over ninety minutes. Last night’s delivery clocked in pretty close to the two-hour mark. If you like eating cold Indian food at home, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are plenty of other/better/faster options for delivery in Pasadena. I won’t be ordering from All India again.

Best Indian food we’ve had in California. Had the lamb tikka masala and the vegetarian Thali with tofu masala. Awesome!

This is pretty poor«Indian» food. Overlooked lamb, curry that tastes only of salt and the worst pakora I’ve ever experienced. Cheaply made and over priced.

Terrible food. awful service!!! Never try this place, it’s such a waste. Plates were dirty and vegetables were not cooked well. Unfortunately at Unilocal minimum 1 star is the lowest option. I won’t give them anything at all! Their lady staff was so super rude and was completely ignorant. Major attitude problem she had.

One of the best restaurants in Pasadena. Complex flavors and interesting choices. An intimate setting that has a bistro vibe. Lovely staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. As good for families as for a lovely night with husband or date!!! So happy we went back after time away. Even better than we remembered.(And you stuff yourself to the gills and the price is completely reasonable!!)

This is one of our regular spots. We absolutely love the lamb jalfrezi, navaratan khorma, basmati, nan and papad with a spicy zinfandel we bring in. Corkage is about $ 6.

All India Café is in Old Town Pasadena. The food is distinctive and delicious. The service is great. It’s a small café, however, the service & food is worth your time. Public parking is available across the street. It’s one of my favorite Pasadena eateries.

I’ve only eaten in the restaurant once, but order delivery often. Food comes fast, is tasty, and decent value for the money. We keep coming back… or, rather, keep them coming back!

All India Café has wonderful yummy food. Their service is very friendly, as well as their delivery staff. Very clean. The seasonings are so flavorful. The meals are family style or individual and you get a good amount of food. I highly recommend The Tikka Masala plates either chicken or my favorite the lamb… yum! Highly recommend you all head over to All India Café for a great meal!

Extremely yummy. Just ordered for delivery, very satisfied and happy! Order of samosas(2 pieces, comes with delicious sauces), chicken tikka masala, chicken nirvana and 2 pieces of garlic nan. Chicken nirvana is just amazing, should’ve ordered two! Nan is great, everything is great. Decent meal for $ 47(including delivery fee & tax) will definitely eat or order out again! Nice delivery guy, too! Would post photos but it got devoured! Also would like to add, more for your money than Akbar up the street, also good, but fancy. fancy prices.

We’ve been coming here for years! Their vegetarian Thalis are the best in LA. The food is fresh and consistently good. The décor is basic, but it is the food that brings you back.

Pass by this place all the time never got the chance to come in, finally did tonight and its not bad! The servers were all really nice and friendly. But food wise, its mediocre. I ordered garlic and cheese nann, marsala dolce, and lamb marsala. All has good flavor but texture is not quite my favorite. I like my nanns and dolce thinner and crispier, but this place has it slightly thicker and more on the chewy side. It’s still pretty good though. I am stuffed!

All India café has become one of my favorite delivery places for Indian food. The food is always delicious and I have to admit I am obsessed with their chicken tikka masala! I love that they can actually make it really spicy too! I’ve had the masala at other places in the past and asked for spicy and it’s been moderately spicy at best, all India cafes spicy is spicy! The prices are really reasonable too, especially to have it delivered. I mean seriously, can you really beat good food, good prices and never have to leave your home to have it? I have grown to love Indian food since tasting the amazing flavors at a restaurant in Scotland, but finding good Indian food places has been a challenge, this place is definitely at the top of my list, especially when I’m being lazy!

Very small place but very, very delicious food. Tastes very authentic, compared to other locations. We were a big party so they took a while with our orders but they were pretty quick and patient. They didnt split the check so that was a little tough on a $ 300 bill and the orders are not in order on the check. This was our only issue but the place was clean, the food was delicious, and the workers were very nice!

This review was based on one visit. We chose this place from it’s selection as one of the best Indian restaurants in Pasadena, according to Pasadena Weekly’s annual Best of. The ambiance seemed to be upscale(cloth tablecloths and napkins), low lighting, nice décor, but it was actually more welcoming than snobby; more comfy than fancy. I loved the fact that besides couples there were families, groups of friends and singles. A very welcoming atmosphere. Even though it was in the mid-90’s the ceiling fans provided enough coolness and circulation. We were given menus, iced water and papadam with chutney as soon as we sat down. The menu was extensive and inviting. We had a hard time deciding on what to eat. We ordered: VEGETABLESAMOSAS – The order consisted of four large samosa triangles filled with potatoes, peas, carrots and seasoned perfectly. VEGETABLE BIRIYANYI-nicely seasoned brown basmati rice with veggiesMixed Vegetable MIXEDVEGGIES Carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, and green peas sautéed with onions and ginger ONIONNAAN — perfect. The service was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go here often if I lived n LA.

My boyfriend’s coworkers are Indian and they recommended this place to him. I’ve never tried Indian food, so he brought me here for lunch. It was really good. We had tikka masala chicken. It came in small little amounts of different curry and potato soup with rice and a side of salad. Our waiter forgot our appetizer, so we just went ahead and cancelled it. Otherwise it was ok. The place is really small.

The Lunch Specials Menu at All Indian Café in Pasadena, CA is very nice. They have Frankie Rolls, which I ordered filled with Aloo Gobi(cauliflower-potato) and iced mint tea. The roti was made with egg like a floured omelette, which I wasn’t in the mood for but it’s protein. Anyways, my auntie ordered a lamb curry with spiced lemonade(nimbu). And they have Kulfi(mango, ginger and pistachio). But no fresh gulab jamun at the moment. So I went with the rasmalia. Pretty place. Friendly atmosphere. Good food.

Lunch special for a REASONABLE price. What is pictured are the fish tikki(salmon) and lamb tandoori, garlic and regular naan, plum and mango chutney! Very delicious amazing service. Also try mango lassi. It’s not overly sweet… just right combination of sweet and sour. Update!!! The lamb is EXTREMELYTENDER! It melts in your mouth. I just found out that the plum chutney is seasonal. Come NOW to try it! You will never regret this meal choice.
