We first hired Alyssa to take newborn photos for us. She said she’d come to our apartment and do it in the nursery. We thought, «how is she going to make this look good? We don’t even have our nursery done yet!» But she came in and made magic happen. We got beautiful pictures of our sweet, baby boy. She has since done three family photo shoots and a first birthday party for us – and captured amazing moments each time. She is great at directing poses, as well as catching those great candid moments that happen between shots. She makes everyone feel at ease… and knows how to get a baby to smile! I just booked this year’s holiday session and already can’t wait!

Alyssa took my maternity photos as well as the photos of my newborn son. She was such a calming presence to work with and knew how to make us feel comfortable. During my maternity shoot she made me feel beautiful while I felt my largest. The photos were stunning! I knew I had to use her again when my son was born and I am happy I did. The photos of him are absolutely adorable!!! She was so gentle with him and had so many greta ideas for different looks. It was also a great bonding time for my husband son and myself, being part of the photoshoot (kind of like our first family activity!) I am so excited to send the photos to his grandparents and other relatives.
I highly recommend Alyssa Stefek. She is now our go to family photographer! Thank you Alyssa!

Alyssa has taken photos several times for our family and we have always been extremely happy with them. The first time we met, I was a little camera shy but Alyssa made me feel very comfortable (which wasn’t an easy task as I was eight months pregnant and not feeling photogenic!) When it came time to take photos of our newborn, Alyssa was very calm (even with a crying baby) and patient (we took several «feed» breaks) and my husband and I felt very comfortable with Alyssa posing and holding our baby in our home. Now our daughter is one (and hardly sits still) but Alyssa recently took photos of her birthday and they were was fabulous. Alyssa has a great talent for capturing the moment and is a natural when it comes to working with adults and kids. We are already planning our holiday card photo shoot!
