The service was terrible and slow. He took around ten minutes to come take our order when we were the only ones there. Huh? And he only asked us for refills when he brought our check over. Sorry but you’re not going to get more tip. My friend and I ordered oxtail chili cheese fries, and all I can say is that it did not live up to the hype. It was overly sweet and too salty. My friend got a Ronin burger and it was drenched in sauce. I thought he was exaggerating but when I took a small bite from his burger, all I tasted was sauce. I got the Miyagisan Burger and it was alright. The buns are too soggy. I don’t understand why they don’t just season their patties and put less sauce. This isn’t as big of a problem as the others, but we BOTH ordered our burgers medium. However, I got mine rare and he got his medium well. That level of inconsistency is pretty hilarious. Not coming again. My friend got a stomach ache from trying to get through all the sauce in his Ronin burger.

I went in on a Sunday place had a couple people there. Some tables still had dirty dishes and glasses on them. First impressions not so good. Sat down got the menu… While looking at the menu I realized there was ONEWAITER clearing tables, seating guests, taking orders, making drinks, and probably making burgers as well. When you charge a premium price for burgers and beers I expect premium service. After 5−10min of watching the poor guy do everything, I LEFTTHERESTAURANT without ordering. Wouldn’t want to increase the workload on the poor guy. Either lazy workers that called in sick or cheap owners don’t want to hire extra staff, which makes me wonder about the Quality Of The Food.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday here, we brought his whole family here and everybody loved the food. We ordered some oxtsil chili cheese fries and they were the bomb! We ordered some ronin burger, kiki burger, miyagi san, loco moco i cant even remember the names. We loved it, we are definitely coming back. They even made some donuts and ice cream for the celebrant. Good job Bachi Burger!

Didn’t even get a chance to try the food. I came in and sat down. After about five minutes without a menu or water or an acknowledgment, I decided to leave. I know what you’re thinking, I was being impatient and that a 5 min wait alone doesn’t deserve such a low rating. However, when you walk into a restaurant that’s absolutely dead and the two people behind the bar are just standing there, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a menu within 30 seconds of your arrival. Maybe my expectations are too high but greet me when I walk in and bring me a menu. Don’t just stand there. To top things off the bathroom was out of soap which is always suspicious at a place that’s serving food.

Been here a couple of times. Had the power lunch special this time, you get burger, fries, and drink. Had spicy miso burger, regular fries, iced tea. Burger was huge! Leaked all of its goodness juices onto my fries, special sauce! Service was attentive and it wasn’t as busy during lunch time, well, Pasadena music festival was also taking place so maybe a little bit distraction. Bf had special burger w no lettuce or tomatoes, with chocolate milkshake.

Parking: There’s plenty of parking structures around. Service: The waitress was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We sat all the way at the window seats, so she had to go all the way across the room and up stairs, so I appreciate the effort. Food: I should preface this by admitting that I’m not a burger and fries kind of guy, but I can understand the appeal to this place. Truffle parmesan fries– In hindsight, I wonder if they gave me the wrong order? Because the fries were garlicky and had a brown sauce on it. It didn’t taste like truffle or parmesan. Oh wells. Moco Loco– I chose the least burgery thing here. It’s basically hamburger patty(very meaty) with onion rings and eggs over risotto. It was pretty good, but also very filling. It could easily be split amongst 2 people. Kiki’s burger– I didn’t try it myself, but my guest loved it. It was also pretty massive(and also very meaty), so some of it had to be boxed home. Overall, if you’re a meaty burger and fries fan, you should definitely check out Bachi. And go in hungry!

I want to start off by saying the food here is decent. If you want a decent burger with some flavor, they got it here. The 2 stars if for the service and experience… Right when you walk in, the smell of sewage overwhelms you. I came with a party of 6. We asked for extra plates to share some apps. The plates were disgustingly dirty. There was food smeared on the bottom of the plate and bits of food leftover on the top of the plate. The knives were noticeably dirty with finger prints and some sort of sauce smeared on the side. They obviously do not value cleanliness. The waitress that served us had her nails painted and part of the paint chipped off which was found in our food. The many waitresses working had their dangling everywhere which would explain why we found hair strands on our table. Overall, even though the food was good– would not come back due to the experience. Hopefully no one gets sick from this place

Been here about three times now. First time trying the«popular» Oxtail fries– it was okay… I expected a cheesy and savory appetizer but the meat was actually sweet. It was lacking something but I can’t describe it. I’ve seen photos where he cheese and meat were loaded and incorporated so nicely but ours were kind of ehh. The cheese was kind of dry so it was alright. Truffle fries– way better !!! Love their truffle fries with their sauce dip it comes with on the side. I got this the past two times :) Salad– regular I’ve had another salad before it was very good wth chicken but not in he menu anymore . Overall I enjoy their fries LOL. Haven’t gotten to their burgers. But service is nice. The girls are friendly and attentive.

There’s a lunch special deal to add a side of fries and drink with your burger, but it ends around 3pm. I went a little after 3pm and they still gave me the lunch menu, which was slightly cheaper than dinner. Majority of the burgers will be around $ 9 – 15, with an exception for their Shogun Burger($ 20+). [Service] SUPER understaffed on a Saturday Afternoon. They only had 1 – 2 Servers for an entire restaurant. We had to wait even though there were 10 open tables and servers were nowhere to be found when we entered. They even provided us plastic forks, because they ran out of metal forks… but there’s only 4 small parties in the entire restaurant. [Food] Oxtail Chili Fries — I used to love their oxtail chili fries, but they’ve been getting more stingy with their oxtail meat and adding too much beans. It’s almost nonexistent… I am definitely still recommending it if it’s your first time. Maybe you’ll catch them when they’re generous. Kiki’s Burger — Angus beef, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized bacon(the best part), and gruyère cheese with garlic chili aioli on the side. Probably my favorite burger here! Tender meat with a perfect aioli sauce to complement the burger. Highly recommend! Miyagi-San Burger — Wagyu beef with chili mayo, furikake, fried egg, caramelized bacon, and a stack of crispy onion rings. Second favorite, but lacking flavor with their chili mayo this time. As you can see in the picture, they added like a small drop of sauce and nonexistent furikake. Disappointed! [Parking] I wasn’t able to find parking, but I heard it’s nearby. If you’re planning on stay around Pasadena longer, there’s all day parking for $ 5 a block down. There’s always street parking if you get lucky!

When my friend mentioned Bachi Burger, I don’t know why it sounds so familiar but not sure if I had it before. And even after ordering oxtail fries… it didn’t ring a bell yet till late at night. I had it when I was in Vegas few years back. |Parking| There’s a parking structure right across from the restaurant. 90 minutes for free. Or one on Delacey. |Service| It was good. Maybe cause there were only 4 parties total when we went. No wait at all. This was at 5:30 on a game day so everyone must have been at the bar. I like to eat early esp at crowded places. |Food| Last time in Vegas, I got the miso burger. This time I went with KiKi just because I saw mushroom listed in the description. Their burgers range from $ 9-$ 14. That’s the price you pay for quality meat. The server explained to us that they marinaded the patty first, grill it & then marinade it the second time. I like the burger and the meat was really juicy & flavorful! I just wouldn’t go out of my way and come back for it though. I asked for medium but they gave me medium rare so I had hard time finishing it. The sauce they gave on the side is tooooo salty! We also ordered an oxtail fries for appetizer. Seriously, I’m happy with chili cheese fries from the Hat, no need to be fancy. Not big fan of their fries here either. It was crispy and good but once again too salty! So I just picked the fries with no sauce and dipped it with ketchup.

People have told me that this place reminds them of Umami Burgers but I have to say. this place shits on Umami. I went in on a Saturday during lunch time when they had their power lunch deal. Surprisingly, for a Saturday, it was a pretty slow day. Not many people were there but I’m not complaining. The waitress was very attentive and she handled three other tables at the same time. We didn’t feel neglected and we received our food in a timely manner(~15 minutes as our waitress predicted). For the power lunch deal, you can pick a specialty burger which comes with regular fries plus a choice of a fountain drink or tea(black or green). All for $ 12. I’m kicking myself in the foot for not taking a picture of the menu because I can’t seem to find a picture on Unilocal of the updated menu anywhere. It’s such a great deal. The burgers alone are $ 14 and ordering a side of normal fries is $ 4.50 so yes, going during power lunch is definitely worth it. The Kiki burger: The patty was seasoned well and cooked to medium as requested. The sauce in the burger is phenomenon! As expected from an Asian infused burger, the sauce has a nice sweet tang to it. It goes well with the saltiness of the cheese and candied bacon. What I especially loved was their bun. It was so fluffy and held up well. I hate burgers that end up soggy or falling apart but I was able to cut through my burger with no problem and no fall out. The fries that comes with the burger are shoe string fries that have been seasoned with bamboo salt. They kind of remind me of McDonald’s fries but better. They give a good amount too! My partner got the Ronin which was topped with a sunny side up egg. It has a similar sweet saucy kick to it like the Kiki. Once you cut into the burger, the yolk oozes over the patty. it’s like watching food porn. I took a bite out of his and loved it as much as the Kiki. We were completely satisfied with our meal and we will definitely be back!

In the realm of upscale burgers, this place deserves a try for sure. Came in on a weekday for lunch with some friends, and the place was surprisingly pretty empty. First of all, customer service is a bit of a mixed bag for an trendy, fancy burger joint. While we were immediately greeted and asked for our choice of drinks, everything after that was pretty mediocre. Our server took our order, delivered our food, and that’s about it. My two friends tried the Miyagi burger and the Ronin burger, I got the Kiki’s burger, and we shared the Oxtail Chili Cheese fries. The fries were surprisingly light for chili cheese fries, but also not bland. Not too salty nor too oily, with jalapeños to give it an extra kick. It’s a bit expensive considering the amount of toppings and what you get, but the flavor is undeniably good. The burger I had was honestly pretty delicious… At medium rare the beef was not tough at all, and didn’t give me the stuck-between-my-teeth-where’s-the-floss feeling(sorry for the lack of a better description LOL) that I often get when eating lower-rent meat. Flavor was also spot on; I found the umami flavor to be out of this world, while the slightly zesty/tangy sauce saved the whole burger from being too heavy. Commendable burgers, modern interior, acceptable prices considering the upscale intentions, Bachi Burger is worth considering if you’re a burger fan, but otherwise, I can see the price being a bit hard to justify for those not as enthused.

I get that people are waaaay toooo serious about burger thease days… Sometime it’s a good thing cuz I can discover some awesome flavor profile. Sometimes it’s not a good thing cuz people try to b over-creative, but it’s just mediocre taste n it’s overpriced… This place is inda middle of those good & bad. Burger was juicy and meaty(a plus!!!). But flavor is too complicated and something didn’t make sense(not a plus…) Miyagi-san had pretty good quality wagyu beef patty but flavor profile was a bit off. I didn’t understand their use of sweet furikake on da burger. Burger bun is buttery and delicious! Great service though… But very slow turnaround from ordering good to hav your food on da table. Pretty decent portion size so u won’t go home hungry.

To echo the reviewers before me, yes this place is understaffed. But did I like my food? Yes, I did. here are some goods and bads of my experience. PROS: — The Kiki Burger was delicious. Most of their other burgers are usually solid choices. Other recommendations are Ronin and Miyagi. — Brussel Sprouts were delicious. It had a nice Hawaiian taste to it. — Pomegranate Ginger Soda was refreshing. Their other fusion soda options looked very interesting as well. — Kudos to the water guy for keeping us full on water though… you the real MVP. CONS: — Understaffed. Wait time in not packed restaurant(+20 min), time before orders taken(+1 unforgivable hr, what?!), time before food came(+30 min) = almost 2 hrs before we got food! — Appetizers(i.e. fries) came out right before entrees or after. Truffle fries were too salty. — Nothing to compensate for obviously ridiculous wait times until after a couple from our party let management know, though we didn’t take it since we already paid. — Burgers are a little pricey at $ 14+. Prices had increased a couple times from last time I was here. I really do love the burgers here, but the price hike and bad service is really taking a toll on my likelihood of coming back…

Severely understaffed restaurant so please be aware before arriving. We ordered the kale salad with chicken, just fries, and Kiki burger. Kale salad with chicken: 2⁄5 stars. The chicken was dry, the actual salad portion was skimpy but the dressing was nice Just fries: 2.5÷5 stars. They messed up our order and gave us truffle fries which looked like someone shat some brown sauce on it and lightly dusted some cheese savings. The sauce was pretty tasty and probably the best part because the fries were barely warm. Kiki burger: 3⁄5 stars. The burger was medium as requested and okay. Not the best and not the worst but definitely not worth the $ 14 price tag. Service: 0⁄5 stars. They were understaffed(1 server for the entire restaurant) and overwhelmed. We waited only 20 minutes to be seated but a solid hour to order. The tables around us looked extremely impatient as the singular server was helping all 15 tables. The tables themselves after being vacated took either an hour to be cleared or were never cleared. Had the server told us they were behind or that it would take an hour for our orders to be taken, it would be more understandable. The one hour wait just to order was insane and the server hiding from us was even worse. The manager did not seem to concerned about our terrible experience and wanted to avoid the whole situation as well. This was a disappointing experience and the lack of support from management was grossly evident. Tl;dr Never coming back. Nothing could compel me to wait an hour just to order food that was overpriced and underwhelming.

Came for a quick & delicious burger fix! Perfect shareable platter goes to: OXTAILCHILIFRIES(hold the cilantro)! I love Bachi’s fries, they actually remind of McDonald’s but less gross. The oxtail chili is savory with a small hint of sweet with a fried egg on top! Once you crack that fried egg & get to eating– Game over, that plate will be clean in a good couple of minutes! It also comes with jalapeños for a spicy kick but their jalapeño slices are thin, so you won’t die from spicyness(you can opt it out)! It also comes with cilantro. But preferably it can do without, I’m bias though because I dislike cilantro with quite a passion! Favorite burger goes to: MIYAKISAN’S BURGER which is wagyu beef(tastes like kbbq meat!), furikake(a dash of Asian flavor– nori/seaweed flakes & toasted sesame seeds), caramelized bacon(adds such a good sweet taste to the burger you never knew you needed!), and onion rings for extra crisp! Drooling as this is being written. This is in Pasadena so parking is found in multiple lots around Old Town. 90 min free parking, btw! Bachi is also right by 85 degrees, Café 86, or blockheads for some dessert to satisfy your tastebuds! Hurry hurry go get your burger & fries fix, Unilocalheads!

I tried the original Bachi in Vegas and I was blown away. The food at this location didn’t quite taste the same. The burgers were good, but they didn’t impress me this time. Even my beloved oxtail fries didn’t quite hit the mark. I’m not sure if I’ll be back.

This place makes some awesome gourmet fusion burgers. The banh mi and the spicy miso are both excellent. They get the burger patty in the banh mi to taste like Vietnamese barbecued beef. That, along with the pickled banh mi vegetables make this a great burger. The spicy miso wasn’t spicy at all, but had a good miso flavor without being overwhelming. All their burgers come out juicy and tender served on soft buns. The apple and baby kale salad is also really good. It has a good mix of tart and sweet and adds some nice acidity as a side to the burgers. Didn’t love the parmesan truffle fries. They came coated with some type of gravy that was frankly, gross. Service the first time I came was really attentive and friendly. The second time, the restaurant was mostly empty and service was tepid.

Juicy burgers with taro buns I like that they have all kinds of burgers. I got the taro bread one last time and it was good. I think all the burgers were very good, except the fact that I think the sauces they put on the burgers become a little overpowering. However, I like the unique tastes and the variety of flavors that they have. The fries and the sweet potato fries were average. I wish I got the oxtail fries instead. There is happy hour here and it starts at around 3pm but it has a limited menu and the sweet potato fries are not included. The service is just ok, the person we got seemed very unmotivated and didn’t seem like he was having a good day. It almost seemed like we were disturbing him when we were the only people there at 3pm haha. He is a male asian, he got a little bit better when we asked for the check but throughout our visit, he barely smiled and seemed annoyed. The ambiance is ok, The rooms are separated so you don’t get the full vibe. We sat near the windows which was secluded from the bar area.

One of the best burger joints I’ve been too! Had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon two weeks ago. Place is spacious and we got seated right away. Highly recommend: — Miyagi-san’s Burger: perfect in every way :) juicy in every bite, that caramelized bacon, crispy onion rings and fried egg though! nicely prepared, great size, everything was perfectly cooked, and flavorful — Ronin Burger: juicy, little heavy on the dressing but works well overall and tastes so good with the side of citrus aoli: P — Oxtail chili cheese fries — semi sweet, yummy chili, tender shredded oxtail meat and perfectly cooked fries; soo tasty… and that gorgeous egg on top?; perfect for sharing(family style portion) — Edamame stir fried with garlic: soo good, nicely seasoned and my toddler also loved it! Waitress was super friendly and made great recommendations Located right next to 85C
