Nothing short of spectacular!!! Kathy & Suzy truly are not only sweethearts but pure professionals when it comes down to business. They listen to you, and work with your budget. They made my sister & brother-in-law’s invitations for their wedding and it seriously amazed all of our guests. The uniqueness and the detailed work that it had was unbelievable. In my opinion, invitation is an important aspect of any event. It sets the tone of the event and let’s the guests know what they are going to look forward to. When we went to their store we met with Kathy & Suzy (total sweethearts). Gave them couple of ideas and a budget. We finally set our mind on this beautiful invite which is laser cut framed, both Armenian and English. We had our invites ready in 2 short weeks !
As soon as we sent the invites out, the responses has been unbelievable. Everyone loves it !!
Their shop is super cute ! Imagine your Pinterest Pins all in real life, from Thank You Cards, to Gift Bags, to costume napkins, name it they have it !

If you are looking for a company that shares your belief that Invitations (stationary) tell a story, set the mood, set the tone, and get people excited to attend an event, look no further. I have worked with Kathy on a number of events. Recently, Kathy designed one fabulous and fun invitation for my daughter’s «sweet 16 /​golden birthday» with a keen eye to costs. My daughter loved what she put together, including the thank you notes. Kathy’s sister, Susie, works in the store. This dynamic duo provide the good olé fashion personal touch while creating something unique for your event.

Weddings could be stressful!!! Invitations are the only thing that guests see before the big day; therefore we wanted our invitations to make everyone want to come to our wedding and know how beautiful it is going to be!!! We found out about Carmody at a bridal event and it was actually the only vendor that we ended up using out of the entire event!!! Kathy is the owner of the business and she just was such a pleasure to work with! I also had the pleasure to meet her sister and her mother at this event. They all had such a positive energy and I told my fiancé that I had such a good feeling about them! We didn’t even make an appointment and Kathy welcomed us with open arms and we told her our budget and she had such quality invitations at such reasonable prices (which I couldn’t say about other businesses at the event)! She made our vision come to life she also gave us amazing recommendations! Basically if you want beautiful, customizable, invitations for any occasion at reasonable prices please come here!!! They were super fast too and the store looks so cute too! I used this place for my wedding invitations, programs, and place cards. The invites were AMAZING. People raved about them for months after receiving them. They were super high quality for not a whole lot more expensive than a similar quality «do it yourself» kit, but without the headache of actually having to do all the work yourself. We also received a lot of compliments on our programs on our wedding day. They have a wide variety of colors and styles. Kathy did a great job listening to what we wanted and delivering great quality products.
If you have the little bit of extra money to spend and don’t want the headache of trying to do the entire design yourself, I HIGHLY recommend Carmody. We drove to the shop from our house (~45 minutes each way) about 6 times and I would do it again in a heart beat knowing the quality of the product we received.

If you’re looking for a great experience and an amazing product, come here!!! I came in for wedding invitations and gave Kathy, the manager and graphic designer, many ideas and different colors that I’m using for my wedding.
She created the most incredible invitations I’ve ever seen and I could NOT be happier with them!!! I have gotten a ton of feedback from guests, complementing the design, paper and creative style.
This process was so easy with Kathy and the crew! The shop itself is super cute and fun to browse. I look forward to doing more invitations with them in the future :)

If I could give six stars, I would! We had the BEST experience with Kathy at Carmody for our wedding stationary. She helped us design the most beautiful invitations, place cards, menus, table numbers, and programs, and she has such an elegant eye. She was incredibly patient with us through many changes to the proofs, and she was an absolute joy to work with.
We received many compliments on everything from our guests, and we really have Kathy to thank! She is AMAZING!

I wanted to like this place because the staff was very nice… but being nice doesn’t always get the job done…
I came into this store because I needed wedding invitations, the graphic designer and manager, Kathy seemed understand the concept I wanted… I gave her all the information, dates, location etc. This was done on 2/​28, I also gave a $ 200.00 deposit. Kathy said that she would have a proof emailed within 3 days, I was so excited! I also ordered a stamp with my family name and address and they approximated that it would arrive in 1 week.
After 8 days of waiting and not receiving a phone call or email, I decided to go to the store to speak with her. I live about 30 miles away, and when I came in, she asked me to come back in 3 – 4 hours, which in my mind meant that she needed time to work on it. I had my 18 month old child with me, so I walked around old town Pasadena for as long as I can, but when it got cold, I went back to the store and decided to wait in there. Kathy produced the proof half an hour later, and it was NOTHING like the concept we described. I asked her about the font, she said that what I wanted was not «wedding font»…really?! The proof looked like she made it in 30 mins, I could have made that in my computer at home. I felt overwhelmed and upset. I definitely did not want to work with her, ever. If this is the quality of work, I could not trust her to do my wedding invitation, I asked for a refund, and to make matters worse, she said that there was a $ 50.00 fee for the proof and labor, whatever! I just wanted to get out of there…
then, a few weeks later, I had to come in again, to get the stamp which was supposed to arrive 3 weeks earlier, but didn’t, turns out they had to reorder it…
PLEASE STRONGLY CONSIDER THIS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TRUST THIS STORE WITH YOUR INVITATION NEEDS. they are not consistent… I feel as if I wasted time and money at this store.
