Dr. Jamal is the best psychiatrist I’ve seen here. Now it’s not like I’ve seen a hundred different psychiatrists here and came to this conclusion but I’ve seen a good handful of them and none of them even came close to how good Dr. Jamal was. I won’t waste time to go on how unbelievably sh*tty the psychiatrists around are, let’s just say it’s no wonder so many people out there are so fu*ked up. it’s because of all these dumb doctors who went through all their years of training to waste your time and money. Dr. Jamal is professional, easy going, patient and asked all the right questions. He has a list of questions that he will go over with you to make sure if there was any problems other than what you think you have. He’s familiar with what type of medication to prescribe for you depending on what insurance you have(as long as it’s not some no name brand insurance). He will also answer any questions you have and is very patient. If given the chance Dr. Jamal would make a great friend, I’m sure. The only downside to seeing Dr. Jamal is that he doesn’t accept insurance(but you can always ask your insurance for reimbursement, depending on your insurance) and it can be costly the first couple of times. After Dr. Jamal and you have established trust then(most likely) you can see him every 3 months, which will save you money rather than seeing him every month to refill your prescription.

«Never tell your problems to anyone. Twenty percent don’t care, and the other 80 percent are glad you have them.» That’s some good advice with coworkers and fair-weather friends, primarily because they can’t help you(and also because no one likes to hear you complain, Frank!) And even if you consider your issues to be minor, they can still impact your life in major ways. I suspected I had ADHD for years, but figured I’d just man-up and deal with it. Was it ADHD or was it just a boring movie that I couldn’t sit through? Was work just a dreary litany of con calls and meetings or was it my attention span? I went to see Dr. Jamal and learned a lot about myself in the process. Wonderful man, outstanding Doctor. If you’ve got this far, make the call and set up an appointment. You’ll be happy you did – and so will your friends, family and coworkers. FYI – his office doesn’t deal with your insurance. You pay directly and send the bill in to your insurance company. It’s simple and straightforward and with my insurance it’s actually easier that way.
