I love El Pollo Loco and this particular location is great… I ordered on line off of the catering menu for an office party and I have to admit I was a little skeptical as I’ve never ordered catering from El Pollo Loco. Nema the Manager(I hope I’ve spelled his name correctly) called to review my order the next morning. He is so pleasant and courteous. The food was delivered by Nema on time and boxed perfectly. Again, very friendly when I met him. I’ve had a couple experiences with other restaurant deliveries where this wasn’t the case. Thank you to Nema and the staff at El Pollo Loco who helped prepare and box the food. Everyone at the party was very happy with the food. Delicious! My new go to El Pollo will this particular restaurant on Colorado Blvd.

Ordered a 500 calorie chicken and shrimp tostada. I ended up with a salad on top of a folded tortilla. Other then that service was good and restaurant was clean.

Came in today with a coupon for the Pollo Bowls and my sister ordered the«Grande Avocado Bowl» and the cashier named Ana was confused as to why we gave her a coupon. She took it and didnt look at it so when we tell her the bowl she says«so what is this(the coupon) for?» So we say«for the Grande Avocado Bowl» So she say«ugh i dontknow what im doing» Im guessing she got confused… But OMG! Her energy level was at negative 100!!! Her face looked like she was annoyed or just tired. Two stars for the food… Negative three stars for the customer service

Good stuff. The food is decent. The prices are okay. The employees here are fast and have you coming back. The location is nice. Right across the street from PCC and has their own little parking lot. I recommend this location. Enjoy

I been there several times and the food is allways fresh and the service really friendly and the facilities clean. The parking lot does sucks. there were times that I been craving their food and when I get there there is not parking. I would not decreased a star cuz I know that is an issue out of their hands. However just want to let management know they could have more business without that issue.

They advertise food they don’t even serve what kind of scam is that! Where is the carne Asada that they advertise in their coupon that doesn’t expire until July?

As far as fast food gets El Pollo Loco is definitely one of my better faves. Location: El Pollo Loco is located in a shopping plaza on Colorado Blvd and Hill Street. Parking: The parking is very tight as the shopping plaza’s parking spaces don’t accommodate a lot of people so you may have to wait for someone to leave which luckily is often. Restaurant: So…there is no drive thru. This is the reason for the parking lot being as crowded as it is. People have to come in to order and this location is fairly busy. I like the the place is well ventilated… as most known fast food places tend to be which is great! It’s a fast food joint so don’t expect 5 star dining cleanliness. The cleaning staff do as good as they can given the parameters but some people we just nasty. Food left on the tables, chairs and not cleaning after themselves mixed with those lovely flies… YAY. The food was pretty good. I got the Baja Shrimp Avocado Tacos with a side of broccoli. The shrimp was not burned and the avocado was definitely fresh. The broccoli was nicely steamed but it lacked any flavor other than… broccoli. I guess it’s so you can choose what you want on it. Overall pretty good if you have time to find parking and wait. My wife and I really like El Pollo Loco. This one is the closest to home. However when we went in for the first and last time, They were out of avocados. They were polite and apologetic, but we are not willing to risk it.

I was just here for lunch. I didn’t really have a high expectation when I went here. All the other franchises I have been were all filthy. Surprisingly, this place is different. The tables and floor are very clean. The people behind the counter were polite and sanitary– clean nails and have their hair up. The food is great and tasted fresh. The salsa bar was clean and refilled right away. The parking is small since they share it with other stores but for students, that’s no big deal. Overall, it’s great to know this place is in front of PCC.

Will usually get their el pollo bowl. Crave this stuff every so often. It’s a bowl of flavors! Includes rice, black beans, chicken, and avocado. Very good portion and under 500 calories! Service can be really slow or quick. Just depends on the time you go. During prime lunch time I waited 15 minutes for my food. Parking is right out in front. Small lot shared with four businesses. You’ll have to be lucky.

It’s El Pollo Loco. if you been to one, you pretty much have been to all of them. The have been expanding their menu with beef and pork options. However, I go here for the classics… charbroiled chicken, rice, and beans. I’m still a fan of their salsas. They are simple, but they work with their menu. Rice and pico de gallo mixed together is my favorite side.

I mean, it’s my first time writing for a Fast-food chain. and I am writing because I think there’s a few improvements that can be made to make customers happier. I really hope that the manager will see this and take these suggestions seriously. When someone tell you that the guacamole is too watery, take it and say«thank you for telling us» instead of saying that«It’s been made like that». It was not me who complained, but then I saw the guac and boy it looks like a green puddle of water. Also, I know that this El Pollo Loco branch across PCC can be a bit crowded at times, but I think the workers need to be trained more. It can be cleaner and more organized. The menu had strips of paper that said«No soups today» but when I asked, turned out there are soups that day. The Make your own Bowl idea. I don’t think it’s good, and it’s much worth it to go to Chipotle for bowls. Get chicken meal or get the tortilla chicken soup ! Parking is tricky because there’s other restaurants that are equally busy because it’s across campus.

I frequent this El Pollo Loco at least twice a week as it’s located square between my gym and work. I would give this location 5 stars for the food quality and service, but it loses a star for two reasons: 1. Stop watering down the avocado salsa! That salsa should be a little thick and chunky. It should not be the consistency of water. I often find ice has been added to thin it out. Stop thinning out the avocado salsa and order more when you have it delivered! Of course, this means they have to actually HAVE the avocado salsa available to begin with as it seems they have already run out at least twice the last two times I was there. 2. The parking stinks, but I fault the property management for that. Seriously, there are 24 parking spots for a retail business and FOUR sit-down restaurants. It’s not unusual to find cars parked in «No Parking» areas of this location. In all, good quality foods(the white meat is usually moist, not dry), avocado salsa excepted, and great, friendly service. I do recommend walking there, though.

Es sitio no es el mas bonito, pero se ve aseado y la comida es rica, no es Gourmet ni mucho menos para traer la pareja para impresionarla, pero si es un sitio para venir con amigos y calmar el hambre!

I’ve enjoyed my EPL experiences here(aside from the parking). Sometimes there is a line, which is totally to be expected across from a college campus. The food has always been flame broiled deliciousness and the staff pretty friendly, even when the line is 8 deep. Ayumi commented that this place is «weirdly designed» and I guess it could see that, because the entrance is a door about 3 – 4 feet wide, and it he counter is 5 feet ahead of you on your right when you enter. The«pro» of that is the line can extend towards the door, and the«con» is that if the place is busy, all entering and exiting traffic may bump a little. :-) Clean salsa bar(fresh, limitless salsa is one of the perks of EPL), clean tables, bathrooms looked good when I used them.

This El Pollo Loco does NOT look like your general EPLs around. It’s so out of place & weirdly designed. Parking is also a betch for this location. BUT, the food is the same as always, & surprisingly. they have a really pleasant floral smell going on in there. Lol

Uh I guess i’ll write a review for the sake of an update– clean, friendly service. Practically no lines. I got a black bean bowl, chicken was charred but oh well, not complaining. My order came out quickly. It’s an okay place, wasn’t too sketchy on a friday night and certainly hit the spot.

Not a fan of this location. Customer service is definitely lacking. Patty the cashier is a total B! She was so MEAN and RUDE! If management is reading this, please teach that Witch some manners. I ordered the $ 20 family meal which came with 8 pieces of chicken, avocado salad, churros and two sides. I kindly asked if I can choose the sides and she barked at me, NO, it’s rice and beans! I said, can I substitute? She rolled her eyes and barked at me again and said, it’s rice and beans. Geez! Note: I’ve order the family meal numerous times at other locations and I’ve always been able to choose my sides… Patty was just being an evil witch! Since I was ordering it to-go, I asked for bigger sauce containers. Who has time to stand there and fill up 10 small containers, NOTME! She rolled her eyes again and gave me two… really just two? Seriously, what’s with the attitude? While I was waiting for my order, I noticed she was extremely«friendly» and was flirting with a male customer. Tsk Tsk… This was my first and LAST time visiting this location… HORRIBLE!
