I love Hobby Lobby! I know a few of the employees there and they are very helpful, as well as friendly. Whenever Candice is there, she always shows me the new duck tape they have(I usually end up buying 3 or 4). Ms. Paula and Stephen in framing are always so nice. Ms. Idelta in fabrics is helpful and friendly, and Becki is my favorite cashier. I’ve never come across someone who wasn’t nice or helpful. I have never had a hard time finding anything and I LOVE the stamp selection. I feel that they have more than what you can find at Michael’s. I like that they are closed on Sunday so the employees can have time for family and worship even though it seems that I always think of something I need on a Sunday lol. I go to Hobby Lobby at least once a week and I love shopping there!

This place has a wide variety of craft stuff but it is more for girls trying to do DIYs they saw on Youtube. Also this store is SO overpriced. I literally saw a jar for $ 7 here and the same one elsewhere for $ 3. I only recommend this place for decorative things or basic craft supplies for everything else I recommend Michael’s.

I saw the big lady manager with the glasses scratching her dirty bits. Is that all she does? Store has good stuff. Just the young girls who work there don’t do shit or even know what is in the store.

Usually very friendly people. Until we asked for help. We were looking for the letters in my son’s name for his room. We didn’t know that they only order half the alphabet on every set. Some letters are just not bought enough they said. Anyways we asked if we could get them anywhere else or if they could check the back since at every single location we were told different! One location said the letters change with every order and to wait for the next order. Others asked us to go to different locations. Only lady was asked to look in the back and rolled her eyes at EVERYTHING. Answered our questions as if we were annoying and stupid. We had one of these at every location that day. Not sure if they all just had bad news that day or if everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed or if their check that week was not good enough. I will still be going back and helping myself I guess.

The people in the frame department are lazy and don’t feel like helping people.

Overly expensive, closed for a whole day during the week, and isn’t all that varied in the way of actual craft inventory.(A lot of what they have is mostly decorative junk meant to sit around and gather dust, rather than actual supplies for making things.) Also, the company has decided to try to deny the women that work for them access to birth control. Even if the reasons I listed above weren’t true, this alone would be enough to turn me off shopping with them. Any company that tries to refuse to take care of their employees is not a company I want to buy anything from. Go to Michaels. The store may be smaller, but they have more actual craft stuff, and at better prices. Or shop online, even. There are all sorts of crafting supplies to be found on Etsy, Amazon, and even Ebay, not to mention the various places that specialise in specific types of crafts. Just don’t shop here.

A little pricey and sucks they’re closed on Sundays, but it is better than Michaels.
