Risque Lingerie Boutique

A small, welcoming boutique full of a wonderful selection of lingerie. Anytime my husband wants to buy me a present (birthday, holiday, just because…), I always pick for him to take me here! A wonderful shop run by a fantastic lady. Ellen (the owner) has lovely taste, and is extremely friendly and welcoming. At the same time, she’s more than happy to let you browse by yourself. Just FYI — sizes do sell out, so if she mentions something sells out fast, it probably actually does. My favorite lingerie shop in the LA area hands down.

When I walk into a cute store, I don’t want to be bombarded with a thousand questions on what I’m looking for, I must be that rare customer who wants to take in the scenery and get my first impressions of the store and enjoy my experience. The owner Ellen is nice however she uses very tacky sales phrases like «this sells out fast, or it won’t be here next week.» Also when I shop I want to hold on to what I’m considering buying so I can coordinate items together, when someone starts a dressing I for me I’m annoyed. I like the merchandise it’s very pretty but I won’t be back because I didn’t enjoy myself there I was completely annoyed.

Super nice place. Decent selection, I immediately found a set I liked a lot. It’s pricey but worth splurging. I will definitely come back.

If you are into very well made, unique, and absolutely stunning lingerie then this is the place for you. Sure it’s a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!!! My boyfriend has always been into the pinup style and we found the perfect pieces at this store. It’s never really that busy in here which is great cause you get one on one time with the most awesome lady ever!!! The owner of the store is super helpful and lovely, she made my boyfriend and i feel so comfortable and really knows her stuff about lingerie. I have come in here more than once and have always had a good experience.
P. s. she always has great holiday and themed clothing and accesories for whatever holiday is coming up.

Bride to be— if u are getting married & can’t seem to find lingerie for Ur wedding night or for Ur boudoir photo-​shoot, This is the place to go to! They have a bridal section which is great: garters, «I do» betsey Johnson thongs, corsets, hosiery, etc.
Just be warned– they are name brand lingerie so it’s going to cost u a nice little penny. I paid the following:
White bride corset/​bustier– $ 80
«I do» betsey thong — $ 15
White & blue Garter belt– $ 30
Their style is very vintage, pin-​up, sexy & fun! Especially fun!
The owner is very sweet & helpful. She will be ur BFF from the get go!

This Lingerie Boutique is so chic! The owner Ellen is so warm and welcoming also, love her! I was just scoping it out for a future trip with my hubby since we are new to town, I will be coming back soon!

Ellen is such a sweetheart! I randomly found this store while roaming the streets of Pasadena during the Make Music festival. This boutique has a wonderful selection of fun girls things. I wouldn’t say is super risqué but the lingerie is very feminine and delicate. I love this store! I’ll definitely make a stop whenever I’m in Pasadena.

Loved the broad selection of stuff here, Ellen was a sweetheart! I’ll be back to get cute gifts for girlfriends in the future.

Finally checked this place on 11÷3÷12 after driving by SO many times! I think it was a Saturday… anyway, I went here thinking I can buy some sexy things for my honey bunny, which I did. I got this sexy garter and all I need is the matching panty for it. I also got him a gift… but my honey bunny is scared of me right now… I want to take it slowly with him so I don’t make him mad…
But I told myself when I see him, I’m going to pray we get together soon… I miss him so much, but do not want to make him angry again! I got red nail polish and it looks great… I want to go back and get sexy bustiers, stockings, and undies, but I realize I must wait until my baby tells me he loves me!
Right now, I am having to take baby steps. I hope in the future I can use what I bought here for the special occasion when we are together. The lingerie here is so sexy and classy, it’s meant to be used for special times. I cannot wait for the day to use them!!!
For sure, I want to come back here to get new undies and bras for me. There are things here that you buy that will last ages because they are from France and though I saw no La Perla, I did see Betsy Johnson. I will be sure to get something here from time to time because I can see the price point here is affordable and reasonable, unlike the commercial big malls, but still this is a boutique and I have to slow my roll (LOL).

I had to buy a gift for my friend but had no idea what to get. I told the owner what I was looking for and she pulled out a few options for me. She was extremely helpful! I will definitely be going back!

i came here by way of Unilocal,looking for something for the wedding night. cute stuff, but for someone on the petite side, not too much of a selection. they apparently either go really fast, or not much is ordered. probably both. the owner was helpful, chatted it up with me, nice. she gave a lot of suggestions, but i got the feeling that it was more so coming from the place of trying to make a sale versus really hearing me out and finding something i wanted. understandable, it’s a small boutique. but who likes to be pressured? i didn’t know much about lingerie, but she kept naming brands like betty johnson and stuff. i don’t know what that is.
anyway, it worked. i only had a few days, i didn’t want to go to a VS, and she said she’d accept my Unilocal check-​in offer. she was going out of her way to make all kinds of suggestions, but i was also the only customer in the store. towards the end a couple came in. so, in short, i appreciated the help, but i could have done without the pressure. my fiancé did like the piece, but i doubt i’ll be shopping here again in the future. really pricey. everyone else seems to like it, so worth a look! i’m just coming from a place of a non-​girly, non-​lingerie-​brand-​knowing angle.

This is the first time I’m reviewing, after years of lurking and reading reviews. I just had to after an excellent experience with Ellen and her boutique. She was so helpful and kind with her suggestions and assessments.
I came in expecting a fitting, but it wasn’t necessary because my bra size wasn’t terribly off. She recommended a few brands and sizes, until I found the perfect one. It was more expensive than I’m used to paying, but the fit and quality was worth it.
Ellen was so sweet, and I really appreciated her help and how lovely her little local shop is. I don’t think I can really shop big name stores any more for bras.

Why this place rules:
–super cute location, with easy parking
–Ellen is great, helpful but not pushy, easy to chat with, made me feel comfortable, even looking at some wilder pieces; she even threw in a free Betsey Johnson thong and candy!
–good selection, from everyday bras and panties to special occasion corsets, stockings, thongs, etc
–goodies like candles that melt down to massage oil (who knew??), men’s underwear, lotions, jewelry, etc
I usually shop at department stores or VS and I am dissatisfied with both options. I am thrilled to have found Risqué. The combination of high quality pieces in a variety of styles with a friendly owner and an accessible (and charming) location make this place worth the drive. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

I always noticed this place on my walks, and today I ventured in to get something cute for Valentine’s Day.
Ellen, the owner, completely surpassed my expectations. She was very helpful. Though initially I get a bit uncomfortable with talkative shop-​owners, I realized, I’m in the dressing room trying on underwear! So her talking to me helped break my shyness a little and even convinced me to try on the more «risqué» pieces!
This shop is definitely more than just a lingerie shop. There are quality bras, panties, stockings, Spanx, bathing suits, even Swarovski jewels. Literally everything you need to play bedroom dress-​up. So if you think your partner deserves a special treat, or even if you just wanna feel empowered and sexy — this is THE place to get it!

The owner of this shop was so rude to me. I couldn’t figure it it’s because I’m so small that she doesn’t have my size or if it’s because she was just having a bad day. I left almost in tears. I haven’t had a shopping experience this bad in years.

This shop is the place to go when you r going to s bridal shower. The brides I have shopped for tell me that they love their items They have one of a kind bathing suits too. As far as the bras and panties r concerned, Risqué out matches Victoria Secret’s bras and panties. This store is worth checking out.

Going to a bridal shower for a good friend this weekend, and I know she is going to feel way more special in the adorable Betsey Johnson babydoll than she would in some cheap cookie cutter lingerie! And now I have a place to come back to whenever I need something special and sexy. Ditto that three $$$s is a little misleading, the prices are very reasonable. And the owner Ellen is super sweet and helpful, and really knows her stuff. Thanks Risqué, I’ll be back!

Being a lover of lingerie I decided to check this place out with a friend. Ellen was wonderful and they have some really great pieces! I was impressed! I definitely plan on going back here, especially since Valentine’s Day is coming up!

Went there yesterday with my girlfriend to pick out her Christmas present. We had a really wonderful shopping experience — Ellen was very nice and helpful. Their lingerie is gorgeous and, according to my girlfriend, extremely comfortable. Their basic bras are less expensive than Vicky’s, but the more interesting stuff easily goes over $ 100. However, you’re paying for quality. The lingerie is hand-​made in France (not China).
Ellen is a really wonderful person. It was her dream to own and run a lingerie store and now she has one! Talk to her about Einstein, underground Caltech tunnel and other Pasadena lore.
