Rumin Xu, LAc PhD

Saw Dr. Xu today and she is SO adorable! She’s so friendly and asked me about my sinus headache and pressure. I told her it was better but I still get slight headaches and now muscle spasms (also had sore calves). I thought she’d so acupuncture on my calves but instead she had her massage therapist massage my legs. It helped a bit but she add some herbs on my calves and it helped a bit.
She did acupuncture and also provided me with some herbs for my sinus and noticed from my tongue — I had a minor cold. So she gave me meds for that too. All herbal. She also gave me those heat/​cool packs for my calves to wear at night.
Her English is tough to understand but she doesn’t get annoyed to repeat. Very sweet doctor. I’m definitely going back there.
My sinuses actually feel clearer.

Dr. Rumin Xu is the absolute most caring and skilled acupunturist/​doctor that I know. She has helped me with everything from bronchitis, to back injuries, female issues, etc. My friends who wanted to get pregnant and were having problems went to see her and now they both have beautiful babies.
Her english is sometimes a little difficult to understand but don’t let that put you off from seeing her. She always makes time for her patients, even at the last minute.
She takes insurance and her prices are so affordable especially when you have tried some of the more «fancy» acupuncturists on the West Side. Go see her! I have referred many friends over the years and they all go see her first when something is wrong.
