One of my favorite spots in Pasadena! Love the Texas panini, the daily specials, and the harvest salad is my all time favorite! Don’t forget to grab some dessert! The Coca Cola cake is to die for but everything else as well is pretty tasty! The staff is friendly and service is fast!!! They also cater for holidays and you can place an order for cakes!!!

The price is excessive for bland sandwiches that are tasteless to say the least. The salad dressing tastes like frosting. I will not be returning! Try to make tastier sandwiches!

My mom wanted to try something new and I found this gem. She had the Pimento Cheese sandwich and I had the Turkey and Bacon Panini. They were both so fresh and yummy. The tomato basil soup hit the spot for this rainy day. Desert for later was lemon pie and buttermilk pie. First time, but won’t be the last.

I love this Café but lately they keep having the same alternate soup every day — it’s either Chicken Noodle or Chicken Velvet — whatever happed to the Tomato Basil and the Cream of Mushroom soup — they are yummy! Makes you feel like they’ve got a lot of left over chicken to use up…

If you’re vegan and in need of just a plain salad you should come here. Don’t eat any of their bread because they responded with«I don’t know, I think all of it is made with it» when I asked if their sandwich breads were made with milk. Was really excited to try the garden avocado sandwich! *you don’t need milk to make bread*

I come here all the time for their sweet treats. The food is good, but nothing special. Just the usual lunch options. The desserts however, are great. I personally love the lemon bars. They have a great selection of cookies, cakes, pies, and bars.

Really enjoyed lunch, it was my first time here. I got the tuna salad sandwich, and cup of tortilla soup. The presentation of my meal was delightful. I also loved looking at all of the delectable treats at the front counter. A piece of chocolate cream pie was calling my name, which was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Vegan options include salad and the Avocado Garden sandwich(minus the micro muffin), with chips. Apricot tea is good. Like the food and service here and their other location on Hwy 3, however, the crappy loud music really kills it for is here. Seriously. Art in the walls and general appearance and ambiance are in complete contrast to the trash coming out of the overly loud speakers. And, is radio! WHO plays radio in a retail place these days?! So we’re trying to eat and were bombarded by commercials. Makes us want to run out the door. Why not match music to the art on the walls?

Great lunch spot. Also have a selection of desserts that will make you look, not once, twice, but you will order a third just because you cannot make a single selection. So take it home with you and enjoy later.

This little gem of a café is Tucked away in the back of a strip mall and quite unassuming. The first impression one gains upon entering this establishment is from the wonderful aroma’s that greet you of breads, pies and cakes baking which is not a faux prop but actual. It appears to be primarily a bakery and I was tempted to skip my lunch and simply order the pies and cakes inn the display case which looked absolutely delicious. The second impression one gains of this restaurant is its absolute cleanliness(they should all be but we both know they aren’t) and organization. Even though it was lunch time the line to order moved along at a steady clip hence I can recommend it for those who have a set and limited lunch hour. Now onto the food. I ordered the St Charles Panini sandwich which was promptly served(less than 10 minutes) with which I chose to accompany by a ‘red skinned’ potato salad. Suffice that the panini was absolutely wonderful, fresh, surprisingly light and just the right consistency and flavor to compliment the pulled pork which is the centerpiece of the sandwich. It includes a slice of melted monterrey jack with caramelized onions, fresh lettuce and a combination of mayonnaise mixed with a raspberry chipotle spread which add perfect balance to the pork. The potato salad was a generous portion and it was equally well seasoned and dressed. Accompanying this meal was a miniature carrot cake muffin which was likewise fresh and incredibly flavorful. Given the prices at this restaurant, the quality of food and fresh baked breads, pies and cakes I would highly recommend Savannah Café and Bakery.

Place is always dirty. Staff is not rude but they are not friendly. So maybe it does make them rude. Anyhow, stopped in at 1 o’clock for a piece a cake and coffee. When I went to pour my coffee I saw they were out, and brought it to the cashiers attention. They never refilled the dispenser. The location on old Galveston Road is so much better. Will not go to the Fairmont location again.

I came here because I had about an hour before I met with a client and hadn’t eaten. Service was good and the desert I brought home was amazing! Now for the not so good… I ordered a coffee and they didn’t have any. I told the girl that it was out and she said it would be ready in 5min. It wasn’t ready till I almost finished my salad. I felt rushed to order and that made it somewhat awkward. There wasn’t any toilet paper in the stall either…

Place is very clean. The food is a bit pricey for the quality of food you get and the portions aren’t great. The desserts are what they are famous for but the slices are cut poorly. The staff is friendly and know the menu. They are helpful when it comes to deciding what to get.

Waited for 15 minuets in line to order. Finally ordered received my food quickly. I also received my slice of pie and it was poorly sliced. But the food was good.

Although, the food was okay. The gentleman behind the counter when I went really made me feel rushed and pressured to make a decision. I called later that day, and I just wanted to let them know, that I wasn’t happy with my visit–(first time there– the guy that attended to me was REALLYNOHELP, I was basically on my own in trying to decide what to order) He rushed me into my purchase because there were other people behind me. I left my contact information when I called. The lady said her manager would call me on Monday(4−20−15) .Well today is 4−23−15, and I’ve heard from no one. I called her, and I said«Ann», I just wanted to let you know– no one has gotten back with me. She apologized and said she told her manager and she guesses he hasn’t fit it in his schedule SOMUCHFORBEINGVALUEDAS A CUSTOMER. Beware– they wont care.

This is my first time trying Savannah and it’s amazing! I had The Savannah with cream of spinach soup. I really loved the soup and the cranberry chicken salad sandwich was my favorite sandwich I got. I also got the chicken salad and tuna salad which were also good. The Beacon Hill cookie was also very good! The apricot cold tea was so tasty! I’ll be back next time I’m in Pasadena!

I had 45 minutes in between meetings and was utterly ravished. Being on such a time crunch and needing to refuel mentally and physically I decided to go for it – Savannah’s lunch special that is. Nestled in the heart of Pasadena, south of the Beltway on Fairmont Pkwy, lies this quaint gem. There’s a down home vibe and the décor is welcoming, with its wood floors and warm colors. The bakery case showcases the many cookies, pastries, and generous portions of pies available for those that crave a sweet, or 2. To the left of the ordering counter you’ll find a refrigerator with a hearty selection of to go items that will definitely help pull together a nice family dinner — lasagnas, quiches, pot pies and more. I decided to go with the quiche of the day, which happened to be the ham and swiss. I ordered the combo, which comes with your choice of fruit, salad, or soup, and a mini cornbread muffin — all for $ 7.95. My meal was delivered to the table within 10 minutes and the presentation was great. The quiche was fluffy and perfectly firm, yet moist. The fruit was ripe and the homemade yogurt dip enhanced the flavors. The portion was just right for lunch. The café boasts your standard soft drinks as well as home brewed teas, such as the apricot black tea, pomegranate white tea, and your standard southern sweet tea. I loved the service and the quality of my meal. I’m definitely putting Savannah in my lunch rotation.

Ventured here with coworkers when I happened to be in Pasadena. The staff is friendly and we all ordered and received our food pretty quickly. It’s a typical café with paninis. You order, get a number which you place on your table, and then your food is brought to you. My turkey and bacon panini was just so-so. I didn’t expect the turkey to be one huge thick piece of turkey, I really expected shaved turkey. The huge slab of turkey wasn’t incredibly appetizing or easy to eat in a panini. The bread, cheese and bacon were all good in the sandwich. The cakes were appetizing and I decided on a big slice of coca cola cake. They described it as a chocolate cake with coca cola and marshmallows in it. It was definitely rich and the amount of frosting was a bit too much, but they certainly don’t skimp on the portion sizes. The cake was pretty good and I brought the rest of my piece home for later. The restaurant was pretty cute and I liked that they brought the food to your table and that the soda machine was serve-yourself so I could get a lot of soda and ice for the rest of my day at the conference. I would go back here, I just wouldn’t get anything with turkey to avoid the slab of turkey in the sandwich.
