I completely disagree with the five-​star comments gave to Dr. Malek. We went to him in 2013 for a regular cleaning. A year later we found out that he billed our insurance for two services he didn’t provide (full set of x-​rays and a deep cleaning), those kind of services you can only get covered every 5 years. When we contacted them they said it happened by «mistake» and they fixed it. But I don’t believe a word and I really think this is a common practice in this office. If you are lucky and don’t need anything out of common you will never know they billed your insurance for more than was provided in order to get some extra «bucks». I will really recommend to look for a more trustable Doctor.

I take care of my teeth, so I only need to go in for cleanings. Today I was running late for my 10 am appointment, but I was seen within a few minutes after I arrived. X-​rays, cleaning, and the consultation with Dr. Malek took less than 40 minutes and I was on my way back to work. The dental hygienist who treated me was very professional and kind. The outside décor may deter some, but like most things, it’s what is inside that counts.

I recently needed to switch dentist due to my insurance company, and was led to Dr. Malek. Driving there the first time, I was initially not impressed by the location and the décor. The place itself is antiquated, straight out of the 80’s. But after meeting Dr. Malek, I was impressed by his warmth and professionalism.
One example is that a popular children’s dental office told me that my 4-​year-​old had 5 cavities. I went to Dr. Malek for a second opinion and after a thorough check-​up, he disagreed. He said we didn’t need to fill a single one and to come back in 6 months for a follow-​up. That saved us a lot of pain, tears, and money.
Now I can’t say I love everything about this office and the way it works, but overall, I decided it needed five stars because there are a lot of shifty dentist out there, and Dr. Malek isn’t one of them.

Dr. Malek took care of me after my filling cracked and my tooth was hurting and could not even sleep. I called and they took me in that same day. He did an excellent job and removed the filling and put in a crown and now I can chew using that new crown like it was my own tooth. He also gave me a good price since I don’t have insurance. I recommend Dr. Malek even if you just need a cleaning.
