I came back to the Massage Plus company after a long time. At first, I was a little worried after I learned that Dear no longer does massages, but only does facials now. I remember getting a facial from Deer before and even her facials are excellent!
Today, I decided to try a 90-​minute Swedish massage with May, and she was amazing! She is very petite, but she really gave me an absolutely fantastic massage! It’s hard to find a masseuse who really knows how to give you the best pressure. With her, she gave me just the right amount of pressure and really loosened my tight knots! I would definitely love to come back and have another massage from her again!
The really nice perks of this place is that they have early bird specials on their massages and facials on Mon to Fri from 10 am — 2 pm! It is cheaper than even Massage Envy. And it’s just really nice that you can treat yourself at such affordable prices! Just be mindful that you need to bring enough cash to pay for your services. Massage Plus now charges a $ 3 transaction fee if you use credit card or debit. But nevertheless, the service is still awesome!

Just had an wonderful massage and facial here. The staff was super sweet. The atmosphere is tranquil, with clean, quiet rooms that are decorated simply, but with nice art work. The tables were comfortable with perfect pillows. Both of the therapists were well trained and used high quality dermatalogica products. Nice bathrooms too. Highly recommend. Great deals too.

Just finished with my massage. The massage itself was good, especially for the price. I called ahead to make a same day reservation and told the receptionist 3x that I wanted 90min after she kept insisting 60. I was actually trying to book the pregnancy special 90min pregnancy massage + 30min facial, but was told I couldn’t get a facial because the person wasn’t in. So, I asked if I could still book the special but come back for the facial when the person was in. She replied that I could… So, I’m not entirely sure why she kept insisting for a massage with lesser time than the advertised special. Long story short, she is apparently one of those people who just says, «Ya ya ya,» feigning like they’re listening, but then really doesn’t pay attn to what you’re saying. I know this because I only got a 60min massage and was of course charged for that and not the special. I was too relaxed to even discuss that she still incorrectly booked me, so I just paid and left.

Came in for a deep tissue massage today to relieve my back pain, left very satisfied. The place is easy to find, there’s a parking lot in rear. Very clean rooms, friendly staff and excellent masseur. I have been feeling painful for a week, after the massage it was very much relieved. I work out a lot, the massage really helped to easy the tension in my muscles all over the body. Would definitely recommend!

Was on a walk while I waited for my car to be repaired nearby. I was able to get a $ 40 massage. They have a special 60 minute massage at lunchtime (I think the hours were 10 – 2 for the special). Anyway, the place was clean enough. I got Donna and she had just the right touch for me (this is such a personal thing isn’t it?).
Anyway, I verified the price before going in, what they did NOT tell me, is that they charge $ 3 to charge it. That is a rip off and was not disclosed to me prior to massage. I simply never carry cash and it would have been nice to know so I could have decided if I wanted to pay this or go get cash, or just decline the service. I know there’s a cost to them to take a credit card, but is is NOWHERE near $ 3. Minus one star.

Amazing experience. I got a 1hr Swedish massage and 1 hr Facial. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The massage was extremely relaxing and by the time my facial was over, I didn’t want to leave. The tables were warm too! Which was unexpected, but really nice.

Per Unilocal,I have been here 20 times which speaks for itself. I usually do the Swedish-​deep tissue combo and I’ve never left less than pleased. Today, however, was different. Today, I met May, and my, my, my. May is the embodiment of the phrase «no pain, no gain.»
Within the first minute of the massage, I assessed May was a spider monkey. She went from standing on the floor to pirouetting on my back in less than a second. This part, admittedly, was not totally enjoyable. I couldn’t enjoy the massage knowing with one false step, I’d have to hire an attorney for my personal injury lawsuit. In the future, I’ll probably tell May to keep her tiny feet on the floor. However, once she descended back to the floor, it was a game changer. Despite her petite frame, she can REALLY apply pressure and work out the knots. It hurt at times, but I knew she was making progress. I honestly feel better post massage and this is coming from a girl who sits at a computer 10 hours a day. To top it off, she hooked me up with tea post massage as opposed to water.
Main takeaway: go in, everyone is great, if you want major results, look for May.

Nikki was excellent! Flew in for business suffering from stress back spasms… the Swedish massage with special back attention worked wonders! This will be my go-​to spot whenever I’m in town. Thanks to the entire staff who were all very welcoming.

I was in desperate need of a massage my back was in knots. I booked online and was able to be accommodate the following the day. I arrived 10 min early and was taking back immediately. May was my therapist, don’t let her size fool you, she may be small but she is extremely strong. I received a combination massage, it was great! The receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. The facility was clean and very peaceful, I will definitely be coming back here!

Quick n easy! My girl friend and I stopped here on a whim and were quite pleased that they were able to take us both as walk-​ins, no appointment necessary.
Prices are very reasonable here and I would definitely come back. Staff also does a great job, as I said earlier, accommodating you and your situation.
Our massages were fine.
The only complaint is this place is a bit small. Depending on what service /​room you get, it might be a bit loud. Some «rooms» aren’t rooms at all but have closed off a table with 3 – 4 paneled room dividers.

I found this massage company via Spa Finder. I wanted to use my gift card while visiting Pasadena. Very pleasant reception staff and nice cozy area. Now to the massage!!! OMG! This was the perfect find. Rose was my Massage Therapist and she was HOLY CRAP AMAZING! I asked for Deep Tissue and man was it DEEP! Not for the weak people. Not for the weak! I wish I could take her back to Maryland with me lol. I do know when I come back home to Cali I will be back.

The massage rates are affordable. I also like how they can accommodate couples in the same room without charging a couples massage rate.
I got a Swedish massage, more it felt more like deep tissue massage… which is ok, however it’s not what I expected. My masseuse was nice (sorry I forgot your name!)
My husband’s masseuse was encouraging him to get a Thai massage where they step on your back… Thankfully he picked deep tissue instead!
Parking was easy in their lot. There is also street parking available.
After your massage, you pay at the counter and as treated to a cup of tea.
I would recommend and come back sometime.

Lupe is an amazing deep tissue masseuse! I have a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back because I hold a lot of tension there. She is very good about focusing on the area you request and getting rid of the knots. I get the deep tissue and ask for a lot of pressure and she delivers!
If you come in early in the day, they have an early bird special.

My husband and I were vising the Pasadena area for the weekend and decided to treat ourselves to a couples massage. We were pleased to hear they offer an Anniversary Special (10% off your total) and we went ahead and scheduled an appointment over the phone for a few days later.
When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and pleasantly by the front desk attendant and then taken to the couple’s massage room within 5 minutes of arrival. Becky and June were our masseuses and they were great! Very respectful to any request we may have had. Our appointment was for a 1 hour Swedish massage and we got exactly 1 hour of an awesome massage. I really appreciate that they don’t consider the time for undressing/​dressing as part of the 1 hour. They massaged not only our backs, but our necks, arms, hands and legs as well. My husband and I left feeling in a wonderful and euphoric state. We agreed that it was the best Swedish massage we have had. Not to mention, their prices are so very affordable! Wishing we lived closer to their location. We will certainly enjoy scheduling future appointments for when we are back to visit the Pasadena area!

I’ve been here twice now, and it is a good deal for a pretty good rub-​down. I was able to get a 30-​minute facial and 60-​minute massage for around $ 80 before tip both times. I think they could be more thorough with the facial, but I guess it’s not meant to be like those major extraction fests like some facials I had. It was pretty relaxing.
The massages are generally pretty good — I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse. Overall, it’s clean and quick place for a little pick-​me-​up.

I get massages frequently. And, when I am home, I have a regular provider who I see weekly or so. But, I travel frequently and sometimes have a need to get these same problem areas worked on.
I was pleased to see one of these walk-​in massage places in Pasadena, but probably should have been on the alert when I realized that they had about15 openings still available that same day.
It was fine. It wasn’t great. My deep tissue massage was more like a very rough and frantic Swedish massage. Certainly not therapeutic, and I would be surprised that the therapist had any specialized training in deep tissue. Maybe the therapist did, and maybe I’m just in a rut by having the same person.
So many others seem to have had good experiences here, that I may chalk mine up to one meh-​ssage.

It’s been about 1 year since first visiting here, and I’m happy to say that I still really like this place!
The receptionist is incredibly upbeat and friendly. Massages are quite good, and the prices are tough to beat. If your appt is between 10AM-​2PM M-​F, massages are $ 5 off regular prices.
Unfortunately, the spa finder gift cards cannot be used for the above special any longer. So plan accordingly.

This is a great massage place in Pasadena! I was able to make an appointment online, and on the same day! It is very soothing, and the place is clean as well.
They offer deals from time to time, which is a definite perk to good pricing and more massages. This is a good place to go since they also have a side parking lot for customers and you don’t have to deal with Pasadena meters and parking spots.
