I have known Grand Master Park for 38 years. I have attained a 2nd Degree Black Belt from Mr. Park and I earned every belt with extremely hard work and lots of sweat. Mr. Park does not give his belts away, they are all well earned. If someone offered me back all my money that I’ve invested over the years in exchange for my Black Belt the answer is «No Way» I credit my success in business, television and my social skills to the character building teachings of Grand Master Park.

My two children have been practicing with Master Park for almost seven years. Master Park in one of a kind. He provides them with outstanding instruction and discipline. But what really makes him stand out is his dedication to the overall development of every single student in his class. He provides wisdom and moral strength, with genuine love and good humor. We are lucky to have walked into his studio years ago.

My son has been training with Master Park for over a year. He is a wonderful teacher who is well loved and respected by his students, many of whom have been with him for 3 or more years. He has alumni black belts of 20 years or more who volunteer their assistance during classes. I find it incredulous to read that someone found him rude.

Young Park is the RUDEST man I have ever spoken to. He treats people with such disrespect I would NEVER give him a dime! And this was on the phone before he even had an opportunity to gain a new student! There are too many martial arts instructors who are just as, if not better, qualified who respect their customers and people in general. California Kickboxing has a much better reputation and that is who I ended up giving my business to. A lot of courtesy and appreciation goes a long way Mr. Park!

Ki Up!!! I went here as a kid during my elementary school years for a few years and eventually encouraged two of my best friends at the time to join. AlI have are fond memories of the place. This was in the early 90’s. From the stretching(which I hated), the forms and one-steps, to the sparring and board breaking, it was an awesome hobby as a Ninja Turtle, martials arts, and ninja fan. I have good memories of the head instructor and owner, Young Park, who I believe still teaches to this day. He reminded me of Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid movies back then and I remember him to very patient and kind. One of my favorite memories was a school wide outing for all the students and families to Wilderness park one Saturday. We participated in a few forms and martial arts exercises, but the bulk of the time was reserved for socializing with one another, playing games, eating, and just having fun! I have a friend whose son recently joined and I guess Young Park still teaches there. He’s like an ageless wonder. I highly recommend this place!
