Colony Carpets

I used Colony Carpets to replace carpets in my condo in Arascadero. I was a little concerned because I had to make arrangements remotely. However, Colony could not have been better! Diana was extremely nice and kept me updated on the progress. The bid was significantly better than others I had received. They were super accommodating and sent pictures both before and after. The final result was fantastic! Highly recommend if you can’t personally oversee the job. The only downfall was not being able to personally thank the team for such excellent work.

I rarely write reviews but felt I really had to! I received the best service from Diana and her crew! I recently added wood floors to my older home and couldn’t be more pleased! Diana was extremely helpful in my selection. She is a true professional with lots of experience and an expert with colors and finishes. The installation crew arrived on time as scheduled, they were professional, tidy, and respectful of my home. Overall, everyone made the process of adding wood floors to my home an enjoyable and affordable project. I LOVE the way they look, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. My floor is so beautiful that I nearly cried tears of joy when I saw it. I had a difficult basement and Jeff offered his expert opinion on what type of flooring would work. best. I know my job must have been very frustrating to Jeff but he kept a good attitude and was very professional. I’m so glad I didn’t rely on my own knowledge and instead relied on Colony Carpets.

From beginning to end, my experience with Colony Carpets has been amazing. Everyone there worked really hard to make our floor turn out great. We first worked with Diana, who did our estimate for us and she was very helpful and enthusiastic about our project. Her experience as a designer really helped me decide which type of engineered flooring to get for our house. I felt I could trust her experience and her judgement was spot on. When I got the estimate, I was surprised at how reasonable it was. I ultimately went with them because they were highly recommended by my contractor. Jose, who laid down the floor, did an amazingly thoughtful and thorough job. It wasn’t an easy floor to do because not only was the subfloor in bad shape, the flooring we used had a lot of complicated veining showing through. If it wasn’t done right, it could’ve looked really weird. But he took the time to lay it out right and made sure it all flowed together. The result is stunning. We couldn’t be happier with it. It really was one of our best decisions to go with Colony Carpets. I highly recommend them.

So I just moved here to Paso Robles and the house I bought had a strong Urine smell. The Carpets and padding DEFINITELY NEEDED TO BE CHANGED! I called Colony Carpets explaining the needs and size of my carpet area and they shot me with an estimate. Then I called another company who sent out people to get the exact measurements. Since i LIKED THE CARPET COLOR THAT WAS ALREADY THERE they supposedly found a match which they said was a very expensive brand and their price was DOUBLED THAN WHAT COLONY CARPETS SAID. I turned around and called colony carpets who then sent their people to get an exact and it turned out they installed the carpet that was at this home, they said the color and carpet brand the other company gave me was not right and guess what… it was ½ the amount of the other company too. This company (Colony Carpets) won’t rip you off and the man they sent out here to do the work was very nice. He even informed us about an enzyme to buy to treat the smell on the concrete and wood from the urine smell and were willing to come back another day so that the treatment can happen.
Moving and closing on this house was a tedious process and I had to change the dates on him so many times, but he never complained about it and was super nice that he didn’t leave me feeling guilty.
I would Definitely recommend this company over the other main carpet company in Paso
