We found this gem on the way to another coffee shop, and we are so glad we did. They use the French press brewing method, so their regular daily coffees are more fresh than other places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The setting was nice.

We were visiting Paso Robles for a long weekend and just happened upon Paso Espresso. Amy is so nice and helpful. She makes all kinds of fun flavors. We tried the snickerdoodle iced coffee, Carmel cheesecake late and wild berry smoothie. All the coffee is amazing and the smoothies are made with Greek yogurt… which makes a smoothie even better. We will be back and I’d highly recommend this place!

We went here twice during our stay in Paso Robles and absolutely love it! The first day I had the caramel cheesecake latte and wild berry smoothie and they were fantastic. The second day we had the snicker doodle latte(iced) and it was also great! The owner, Amy was very sweet and has created all types of fun flavors of coffee that are very tasty. I recommend this place to anyone who loves coffee or smoothies! We will come back here every time we are in town.

STREETPARKING REFILLSARENOTFREE If there’s anything I value more than quality, it’s service. I’m a caregiver and came in with my 80-year-old diabetic client who’s walking in crutches. I was asking the blonde cashier if they served any sugar-free pastries. What I don’t get is why she sounded so annoyed answering me, snapping that«whatever we have displayed is all we got», as if she was tryna rush my order even though we were the only customers dining inside the shop(no wonder). She told us to wait 5 mins since they don’t regularly brew decaf, and thank God there was another barista in the premises who personally brought our coffee to our table and offered creamer and splenda, plus a smile. My client subtly hinted at going to another coffee shop instead so we made a quick exit and I apologized to him profusely for taking him there in the first place. So if you feel like paying for overpriced coffee for shitty service, this is the place to be!

I’ve had the breakfast burrito twice now and both times I was absolutely NOT disappointed. Where can you go to get a quick breakfast burrito; hot, fresh, fast, and flavorful. Here! Look nowhere else! And the coffee… Wowza. So many options! And I love that they come up with ideas for drink/syrup mixes and put them on the menu. The coffee is the perfect temperature and its soooo creamy. The owners and totally sweet and will remember you because they make conversation. Seriously, please go try this place. It’s amazing! And local, which is a hugeeee plus.

I really love this place & everything about it, but the lady that works here always seems on edge. New owners are all around very nice & helpful people.

They are under new ownership, and unfortunately the service is very slow. Everything is way more expensive than it was before the change, and the breakfast burritos are not as good, or as big as they were for the same price when the place was owned by the Korean lady. Today, I also got into an argument with the girl at the register regarding her math. A $ 2.2516 oz drink + $ 0.50 for the flavor + $ 0.25 credit card charge = $ 3.00. She was very interesting to deal with when you disagree. The customer is not always right, except when they are. I don’t appreciate service people that act like they’re the victims. This place is just as expensive as Amsterdam Coffee, and much slower. Go to Amsterdam. EDIT: I just got a rather disturbing message today from one of the owners criticizing my review, saying that I have been unappreciative. It is not considered a «special request» or demanding in any way if I am asking for something that you should already be doing. Who on earth serves burritos without sauce, and then considers it demanding if the customer chooses not to get one because there isn’t any? This was before they got sauce packets. I chose to go to this one at least once a week before this because I enjoy supporting local businesses. Trying to guilt me into giving a better review or taking it down will not help.

I will never step foot in this place again! I walked in and the owner had her back to me. She said hi and then kept her back turned while dealing with a delivery or something. I kept waiting patiently and asked if I could use the bathroom while I waited and she yelled, «I’m busy!» I couldn’t believe it. I said I’m sorry can I just use the restroom? Do I need a key? And she said«you’re being rude!» I was shocked. I was going to buy coffee and food but I just walked out and went to Amsterdam coffee house where I bought coffee and food and used the restroom and they were lovely to me. This place does not deserve my business or anyone’s for that matter! The world his harsh enough, getting a coffee should be a pleasant experience.

The new management of this coffee shop has made this place my go to stop in the morning. The service is above and beyond and the coffee is always amazing. You can literally see her grind the coffee right in front of you and it makes such a difference. The drive thru aspect is a little strange at first, but they come out to greet you if there is a line and makes the wait time cut down drastically. Why would I wait 15 minutes for a sugared up Starbucks coffee when I can come here and get a product 20x better in half the time? I’m converted!

This place is under new ownership, but still as good as ever. Love love love the owner. She was kind, friendly and really took time to get to know me while making my beverage. I had a hot white mocha. So good. I will continue to think of this establishment in the future when I come back through my hometown.

NEWOWNERSHIP! Prior to the change I’d only come here if the young lady who worked mornings was around because of her genuine personality and coffee knowledge. NOW I find myself here several times a week because the new owners have turned this place around. They offer Joe Bella coffee, a local roaster down the road from us. Amy is up front and honest about your drink and comes up with great combinations. They keep it local with Edna’s pastries, also down the road and provide genuine service. Do yourself a favor and check this place out over the green apron, you won’t regret it!

Great iced Americano and fabulous service. Stop here if you want the non-corporate espresso experience. They also have fresh pressed ice coffee as well.

New owners are awesome!!! super nice people! The coffee is yummy and local. They changed their breakfast burritos and they are much better. Taste like something you would make at home rather then the old dry ones that were served previously. I work at a BIG coffee chain and I would come here over getting my discount there any day! their mexican mocha is bomb and my husband tried a snickerdoodle blended coffee and that was pretty tasty as well.

Stopped here on our way through town based on the good Unilocal reviews. The new owners were really nice and friendly. The place looked recently redone. I had a coffee drink and it was really tasty. They said they used fresh local roasted coffee. Tasted better than the big chains overly sweet beverages. My fiancé had a fruit smoothie and really enjoyed it. Overall we would gladly visit again. Great service and great drinks!

Ahhhh… the worst smoothies we have EVER had. Not made of real fruit. Ice and chemical-tasting syrup blended together into a sickingly sweet mixture that is so sweet it covers your mouth in a syrupy texture. $ 4.50 each for the large, tried 2 different flavors today… mango and strawberry and both were bad. We HATED them. Glorified slurpees at an inflated price. Calling them smoothies is misleading.

I decided to try the coffee place last week after reading other great reviews and wanting something other than Starbucks. I’m so happy I tried it. The blended chai I had was so delicious I’m craving it now. The owners are very welcoming and this is a great spot.
