The wife and I went to this little place here in paso robles. The parking is the worst. The atmosphere was very relaxed once inside and seated. The seating was very limited but the food was great. The staff are nice and quick to clear and seat the tables. The food took a bit longer but it’s well worth the wait. The torta is to die for.

I have been here twice and will never go back! First time was on a Friday night with the family. We walked in, there were 2 customers paying their bill, but no one else in the entire place. Very strange feeling. We seated ourselves because no one was there to seat us. We sat there for almost ten minutes, no one helped us or in any way acknowledged us. We got up, and On our way OUT, I asked the cashier if they were open, she said yes. Strange. The last time I went in by myself to order lunch to go. I placed my order, then she rung the total I handed her my gift certificate and she proceeded to tell me that they would not accept it. She told me the previous owner left. My gift certificate for«Mi Ranchito» isn’t worth a darn thing. Well, they are ripping people off collecting $ from and refusing to honor them. Shady.

El pastor tacos are AWESOME! 4 wasn’t enough but I didn’t want to embarrass myself. Don’t go to sanchos(Ew) or the other taco place near sanchos. In this little strip mall of 3 taco restaurants and 1 Mexican store, THIS is the place to go!

The food is good, not spectacular, but worth going for. The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. Not over priced and very spacious. So far, probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in Paso Robles.
