Mimi is a wonderful shiny diamond amongst her fellow colleagues. Her work is impeccable. She is an anomaly and I’m glad I found her. On November 3, 2015, She created a beautiful design with «Crocheted Thin Senegalese Twist». Hair style was completed in a flash. She took her time with each strand to make sure each one was nicely set. Mimi braids with compassion and with care. This artistry have been lost for a long time. I’m glad I found it at Mimis Braids! I strongly recommend and definitely will book my next appointment before the hectic holiday season.

If you don’t know where to begin your search for braids it stops here. I’ve gotten my braids done by numerous braiders all over New Jersey — none come close to Mimi’s. Let’s just say I’d definitely travel ways for this braider and the price is exactly worth every cent. The least you can do is follow her Instagram if your still complementing. For sure 5 stars!

Got my daughter’s hair braided for the first time and I’m so glad we found Mimi. She’s so pleasant and easy going. Her braids are neat and she’s quick. Will definitely come back.

I wish I could give 0 Stars! The Mimi without red hair is SO UNPROFESSIONAL! She is FREQUENTLY LATE! And when I say late I mean up to TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATE! I had a 9:00am appointment with her and she NEVER SHOWED UP! It’s like she has no consideration for the fact that people have jobs and schedules that they have to stick to! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I would definitely recommend this salon for braids! This was my first visit and I love my hair style (I got the mohawk) and I definitely will be back! The prices are competitive! Mimi is the bomb and she puts her heart and soul into her work!

Her genuine spirit, patience with children and her amazing work is the reason why I travel from Brooklyn to New Jersey to see her. With all of her success she remains the same. She services adults and children so make the trip it’s well worth it.
