I give this Shop Rite 5 stars because :
1) Great customer service
2) Find everything I need
3) Lots of international products: Hispanic, Jewish, Polish, etc
4) The ONLY retailer that employs people with disabilities! (never seen that on any other shop rite or retailer)
I have shopped at other Shop Rite locations such as the one in Paramus, Hackensack and Fair Lawn and the customer service does not parallel this one, especially Paramus is has horrible customer service employees with attitudes and no smile.

Always crowded and difficult to find the parking. Inside the store, you will mostly be disappointed if you are looking for items for sale as the shelves run out of it very quickly!

It pretty good they have a lot of good items. Very busy most of the day. Good hot and ready food. I love the hot turkey they have and the deli meats are good too.

Nutley, NJ
This is the worst shop-​rite I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to the nutley one. The floors were incredibly dirty, tracked all the way through the produce section. Speaking of produce, the selection was dire, and what was left, I was scared to buy, what from the looks of it to the moldy pieces. Glad I don’t have to go here ever again.

I really like this Shop Rite. The prices and selection are very good. There is an excellent selection of ethnic foods. That is appropriate because the store is located in a diverse area. The staff are helpful and courteous. The store is clean including the bathrooms. They even play my favorite music most of the time, ‘80s rock and roll. They have a free van to take local customers home if they buy $ 60 or more. My biggest complaint is that they do not sufficiently stock sale items. Then you have to wait to get rain checks and those waits can be lengthy. Some of their produce has been sub par lately. There is too much clutter in the front of the store and in the aisles. That makes it hard to navigate when the store is busy.

yes, its kinda in the gheto… not really deep into it. but if you dont feel comfortable in diverse places, dont come here. it really is located in a safe part of passaic, honestly. The shop rite is decent. The one thing that i like is that i feel like they always have a variety of ingredients that i need for certain recipes that other places dont carry. They have different aisles for ethic foods. i like trying new recipes, and it always annoys me when i cant find the ingredients, so for that alone, i love this place. But yes, its an older Shop Rite and its not fancy. But for a food store– its quite ok!
