*Pro Tip Always call ahead for your order. Big Portions and best for take out. Not much space to eat inside the Market.

Meat is probably the freshest you’ll find around. The prices are very good as well! They have fish as well. The sandwiches are good at the deli counter too. At $ 3.99, they’re pretty good value for money. The meat section stops their butcher work before 7. The food section stays open until 8PM.

Bought the chicken shwarmas which is reasonably priced and tastier than most around the street. However strange as it may seem, the order taking process seems to be very sequential. Never have I have seen to be waiting to give an order when a previous and someone elses order is prepared, cooked and given. Someone must tell them is not a good customer service. Take your order faster, there are more than couple who work here don’t waste customers time.

These stars are for the Food! Its a market with a «deli» counter. Theres some tables and stools. Your not coming here for the ambience. I came for the schwarma. It does not disappoint. I think this place has some of the best schwarma I’ve had in years. Its as good as Sham(RIP santa monica CA) and Ranoush(london). The chicken schwarma is moist and juicy, and perfectly flavored. The lamb-beef scharma has a great texture, and the right amount of pungency. The garlic sauce is good as anywhere and nearly as good as Zankou Chicken(los angeles). They make great dips and give free samples. 12 bucks will get you 2 wraps and some dip. PS Bring CASH. The deli has separate payment from market. The market has great Helal meats(good quality-price) and an amazing self service spice area. Only bad thing about this place is its a bit of a drive to Paterson.

Awesome pita wraps for only $ 3.50. Came here with a friend who was in a mood to try new food. They didn’t discriminate against us after we ordered the first sandwich. We both got the beef/lamb gyro. For seconds I ordered the lamb kidneys, he got the beef kafta. Awesome stop in out food crawl.

THEBESTHALALSANDWICHES for only $ 3.50! Actually they are more like wraps and they put some amazing sauces in there. This is for the prepared foods section of the store. I took my two room mates here and after one of them took a bite out of the chicken gyro sandwich, he said very seriously«We have to move here.» We just moved to Jersey this Summer and live about a 30 minute drive away and now we try to make a trip once every week or two. That is how powerful these sandwiches are. I’ve been here 5 times already and everything I’ve tried has been excellent! They make Arabic style food here and you can even bring them fresh meat or fish to cook for you. They charge by the pound. I recommend the kofte sandwich and chicken gyro sandwich. Other sandwiches include beef gyro, shish kebab, liver, or lamb kidney. You can also get them as platters. One and a half sandwich is enough to fill me up. I like to eat my food there, fresh off the grill with a bottle of ayran(Middle Eastern yogurt drink that’s salty). My room mates think ayran is gross and tastes like the sea so they get the bottled cherry or apricot juice. They usually have some grilled vegetables laid out on a huge platter and these are really good, smokey and spicy! The varieties are usually different but I loved their cauliflower, zucchini and eggplant mix. Once they had a rice dish with chicken and vegetables mixed in and it was more expensive but so delicious! The guys who work here are all really nice even though my friends and I are not their usual Muslim customers. The rest of the store sells fresh and very reasonably priced Halal meats, fish, seasonings, pickles and olives. You can buy the already seasoned halal steak or seasoned ground veal and lamb to grill your own kofte at home.
