Estylo

Estylo is your typical Dominican salon with an extra bit of class and glamour. More often then not there is a hot pot of coffee/​espresso and the ladies are yapping away exchanging gossip. It’s first come first serve, so on a weekend you better get there as soon as the door opens because depending on your service you could be waiting for hours. The only appointments she really honors are for special events that are scheduled in advance. Speaking of hours, you might also want to call ahead since the salon closes early some days when business is slow (mainly during the week).
Lily has been my hair stylist my whole life so she there are few things I ever have to explain. When I tell her I want a certain look, maybe something from a celebrity, she knows exactly how to adapt it to fit not only my face shape and hair type, but my style and personality as well. She often goes away for conventions so she is always up to date with the trends and techniques.
There are also a few spa services offered such as manicures/​pedicures (by appointment only), and minor waxing.
