Payson, AZ
The selection is a bit pricy and the inventory shallow. Its a big deal to some because its the only game in town. When you’re up here visiting, unless there’s an urgent need, save your money and visit the beverage selection of the grocery store in the same center.

A gem in Payson. We were told by some friends to stop by here if we were ever in the area and we are glad we did. Picked up some hard to find brews and the cashier was friendly and helpful.

This place is great. It was like walking into a mini version of Tops, but in Payson.
We were super surprised and happy about their craft beer selection, as well as their liquor selection. When we arrived at our campground, someone asked us where we had stopped for beer, and we answered «The Beverage Place». That answer started a praise session. Apparently, the Payson/​Christopher Creek locals love the selection as well.

From the outside, this looks like a liquor store. I passed through on the way to a weekend stay at the cabin, in the woods, in the cold — we were going to need something. Upon entering, someone approaches to see if we need help. I tell him what were looking for and next thing I know… we are having a full wine tasting! Fantastic! While this little session is for us, apparently it happens regularly on Friday afternoons. Furthermore, they also have drop-​ins from local brewers from around the state. There selection was everything you’d expect and more and the service was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Right next to Safeway I never pass it by again.
