We’ve been coming here a bunch the last couple years and they are very consistent and delicious. They’re pizza is pretty good, not Santarpios or Flying Saucer quality but not bad at all. Their standout to me is they’re chicken parm calzone, hands down best thing on the menu.

Live down the street from this spot, never had them to and finally decided to order canzone from here. I don’t recommend to anyone. This place has very slow service, the girls who answer the phones have no idea what they are doing. And the food is very flavorless. Don’t recommend.

The pizza and roast beef are good, but there are other options close by. They have online coupons on their website but they refuse to honor them. They say at the store that the prices went up but they will not change their website and gave us a real attitude about it. With all the choices in the area, they should honor their posted prices.

I have family on the North Shore and we often get take out from Rizzo’s when I visit. Their salads are huge and the grilled chicken they include is very tasty. I’ve also been happy with their BLT on a Honey Wheat wrap.(They let you order most sandwiches as a wrap.) My husband says the steak & cheese subs he’s gotten have all been great. I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like from Rizzo’s.

Luck I like the pizza and calzone here. Made a phone order and was told 45 minutes and so far it has been 90 minutes. I don’t mind waiting but this is twice as long as stated when I ordered. Gotta work on that. Will order again and hopefully will meet the stated delivery time…

I didn’t care much for this place. I visited with my daughter to have some lunch one day and the woman taking orders was over the other side of the kitchen doing who knows what. She kept shooting looks at us like it was a huge inconvenience that we wanted to eat. So she came over and, not even kidding said«what do you want?» Not in an angry tone, just very plain and straight up. Still not very polite. We ordered slices, that were cold and probably sitting there for a couple of hours. Not very tasty either. The cheese was stiff all along the sides and the sauce wasn’t very good. Lost my appetite and went home to cook. I decided to give them another chance. We ordered sandwiches and a large pizza. We were told it would be a half hour wait. So when it was time to pick it up, we sat there for another 40 minutes… just to be told they were just throwing it in. WTF! We finally get home to eat our food. Pizza was gross… way too much cheese and hardly any sauce. The sauce was very generic. They didn’t add the dressing for my sandwich and the roast beef was ice cold and fatty. It was rather pricey too. For what we were charged, we could’ve gone to a good sit down place and enjoyed real meals. Not only is their staff on the lazy rude side, their food is meh, and their delivery driver almost ran me and my little girl down twice. He drives like an idiot! The doors to get in the place are heavy and are not wheelchair or baby stroller friendly. The tv volume is a bit too high and I couldn’t hear much of my conversation with the person I was with. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting the North Shore for the first time.

They have really good pizza, and on Tuesdays(like today) it’s only 6 bucks. I go & pick it up, because their delivery drivers always get confused as to where I live, but that’s OK because Rizzo’s is a 3 minute drive.

Not a bad spot just not that hot for the money. I ordered a steak tip salad and almost fell when she said it was 12 bucks for a pizza place take out salad. They flooded it with feta: P, but the tips were cooked nice and the greens were fresh.

I never thought I would ever have the opportunity to express my thoughts and how I really feel about a place in my Unilocal life… For me everything is Black or White. I have no gray area. Let me start by saying that my trips to Rizzo’s were AWESOME. staff spot on, food was spectacular. When I was leaving Rizzo’s one night I noticed salads being served and thought to myself, You have got to be kidding me!!! Large, Full of food, How can they do this… So, now that I have your attention, let’s talk about tonight. I will comment on the food in a bit, but I have to bring up something very troubling. I got in the door, I was greeted, my order was placed, and I moved back to wait for my order. Well the counter help were SPOTON. Young kids, doing what young kids do. Then out of the blue I hear the gent behind the grill call out two workers for having a conversation that he felt was out of place and patrons did not appreciate. I think the quote was«Customers are waiting while you talk, they do not want to hear your conversation. If I hear you talking, you will not be happy» are you kidding me, He made more of a scene, that we all bared witness to and threatened The workers jobs… This is NOT the day shift… Well, you read my disheartening account and now lets hit the food… Simple Chicken Kabob Salads with house greek and extra feta… 1: Chicken was Raw and PINK!!! Enough said. 2: Feta, was poured off a container that was standing on the counter, refrigerate? 3: House geese dressing, Oh spelled that wrong. Nope, all oil, no flavor, Got A Sample If You Want it… The blame falls on the Gent behind the grill… If you are one of the owners, SHAMEONYOU. If you are not, SHAMEONTHEOWNERS for hiring you.

Well, they’re pretty good when you’re in a pinch. I’m usually hanging around my boyfriend and he lives really close – a couple minutes’ drive – so we get the opportunity to eat or take out from them sometimes. Their buffalo chicken isn’t really covered with buffalo sauce, I’d say. It’s pretty spicy and sweet and tastes good but it isn’t buffalo. Their subs are pretty okay, too. So far I’ve had the chicken kabob and their crab meat sub. I’ve had the chicken kabob more than a couple times now, so I like to say it can be pretty good. A lot of the time the chicken is dry, though. The crab sub is just piles of imitation crab pieces, mayonnaise, tomato and lettuce. If only they went all-out and used fresh or frozen crab, but they’re not a seafood place, so whatever. Both of the subs were packed full of fillings so they’re good for what they cost. Fries? Nothing to write home about. They don’t taste bad. We’ve never been brave enough to get delivery from them, or special order because you just get the feeling that they won’t get it right. Once you’ve lived here for most of your life, you learn to pick those people out, I guess. All in all, Rizzo’s in Peabody is okay. I’ve had much better food for less money all around. Wouldn’t go there unless you were painfully craving fast food type things.

Ordered the chicken kabob pizza… Amazing quality, pizza was LOADED with chicken, highly recommended… Only downside is the delivery time and customer service. After ordering a few times the customer service definitely went downhill, where I felt that the person taking my order was inconvenienced by my call… long delivery time and last time the guy actually said, sorry, we forgot about your order upon handing me a cold pizza… really??!

The quality of the food here is great, but in my experience, these people are chronically incapable of getting an order 100% correct on the first try. And unfortunately, how badly they screw up varies. Sometimes it’s something relatively small, like forgetting to give you the extra bit of dressing/condiment you asked and paid for. Sometimes, it’s something bigger, like giving you a spinach pizza when you asked for a bacon pizza.(I still don’t even know HOW that one happened.) All I can recommend is that you check your bag before you leave the building.

I Love this Place! The best pizza and the steak and cheese subs are awesome. They have a new place in Salem that just opened. It’s in Vinnin square near swampscott. I was so Happy! When I went to pick up my order they were so friendly. This is really the best place to get pizza in the area. You will not be disappointed!

I drive by this place everyday on my way home from work and have wanted to try it since I moved to Peabody. Last week, a friend and I were starving and I decided it was the perfect opportunity. From the outside it looks rather small and a bit like a dive, since it’s next to a vacant lot surrounded by wire fencing, but then you walk inside and the«dining room» is gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated in earthy tones(not the annoying out-of-date, harshly lit, red formica-ness of most roast beef places), is immaculately clean, and there’s a good amount of seating for the size of the room — which is on the small side, but not in a cramped way. It was noontime on a weekday, so it was a bit slow, but some people came in and picked up called-in orders while we were waiting for ours. The menu is typical roast beef & pizza place fare: pizzas of every variety, calzones, hot subs, cold subs, salads, sides, etc. I ordered a Chicken Parm Sub and my friend ordered their Eggplant Parm Sub. The girls at the counter were very nice and efficient. We did not wait long for our orders, which impressed me since most places in the area take HOURS to get a sub made. The sandwich was big enough that I couldn’t finish it, the bread was toasted and the chicken was delicious and crispy. Their marinara is a bit bland for my taste, but nothing a few red pepper flakes and some salt didn’t fix. Melted cheese brought it all home. My friend says that it was one of the best Eggplant Parm Subs she has ever had. All in all, a great experience, delicious food and the prices were very reasonable for the portion size. I will definitely go back in the future and try something new. They also deliver!
