This particular Panera bread location has pretty consistent food. Bagels seem to be fresh even towards the end of the day so I sometimes order bagels at the end of the day anything the next day and they’re still good. Soups salads and sandwiches are also very good at this location I can’t say the same for all Panera bread locations good job!

I’ve been to this Panera more than a dozen times over the past few years, and I’ve watched their customer service slowly decline. Let me start by saying, every single time I come here, there is a part of my order that’s incorrect or missing altogether. The entire staff looks miserable and is terribly uninviting from the moment you walk in. Every time I tell the staff that something is wrong or missing from my order, they act as if it was my fault, or as if I’m an inconvenience for wanting what I paid for. Yesterday will be the last time I ever go to this location. When I went in to pick up my food, I stopped on the way out to check it. Go figure, the 2 desserts I paid for weren’t in the bag. So, I waited in line for about 5 minutes to tell the girl at the counter that they were missing. She replied with, «yeah we don’t have those.» After I stood there for a few seconds confused, I asked her if there was anything else she could give me since I paid for those. She said, «yeah you can have anything over there,» and pointed to the bakery. I grabbed 2 chocolate chip cookies, which I’m sure weren’t equal to what I paid for, and walked out. If you order from here check your order as soon as you get it. Don’t drive all the way home and end up with cold food like I have too many times thanks to their lazy staff. They advertise rapid pick up, but it’s not very rapid if you have to stop and pull all of your food out of a bag, and put it back, on the way out.

Needs to have a 24 hour breakfast menu. People enjoy having breakfast items at any time of day, and big chain food establishments have listened and are doing just that. Panera’s needs to do the same or get left in the past. Sad to say because they have good bagels, but give the people what they want. I know this location would have no problem doing this as I witnessed them serve two men breakfast items 15 minutes after the alleged breakfast time was over. This was due to a cashier’s mistake which tells me that they don’t know the proper times themselves.

I’m not a big fan of Panera but I do like their breakfast souffles. However it is hit or miss whether they have them. I might luck out 30% of the time. So mostly I leave sad and hungry, which makes me associate Panera with sadness.

We’ve all been to chain restaurants so I’ll make the food review brief. It’s the staff that shines at this location. I come here more and more frequently as I’m not into fast food, but when I’m hungry and don’t want to cook, it’s convenient and a good medium on price, health and quality as far my choices for food on-the-go. It’s a great place to study as well. Frontega chicken sandwich, broccoli and cheddar soup, and spinach artichoke soufflés are my go to foods depending on the time of day I creep in. And I almost always get my large iced coffee with caramel to satisfy my caffeine addiction. I have never had bad food, bad prep or missing items on my order. So I have zero complaints about the food here. Hence the 5, in conjunction with my service review. I’m rating compared to food in the same category, not in comparison to a Brazilian steakhouse. So calm yo selves, snooty high class reviewers. So, the staff here has always been fantastic to me. They are happy, they smile, they are friendly and courteous. This is all the more impressive, because I usually come here after the gym looking like the walking dead. Professionalism and customer service skills are noticed people, kudos to my panera folk. In addition, they have hooked me up with a discount on my coffee here and there, when they’re super busy and the wait is a bit longer. They know how to keep the peace. Customers aren’t always the most patient or overly understanding, big surprise right? But the staff here knows how to handle the grinches of holiday rush hours. I come here often enough to notice this as a standard, not an exception and they deserve the credit.

Tried this out this week for Friday night take out at my daughter’s request… she has officially lost her right to choose for the next week. She ordered the steak and cheese pannini and I got the turkey sandwich. Hers was urrgghh — the bread was hard as heck and the steak had a strange aftertaste. My sandwich was alright — a take on thanksgiving as the bread was whole grain with cranberries. I was not impressed at all. I also ordered two scones — those were pretty alright, but not worth the drive or my time to revisit. ~le sigh~ on to other options!

I have had more trouble with this location. Placed an order online, they screwed it up, said they could not find it. 30 mins later they find it, and then wait another 20mins while they make it 2nd time it has happened. Always have excuses but they don’t want to correct it. So much for Rapid Pickup…

The food was good. There aren’t descriptions of the menu items so I went safe with black bean soup and southwest flat bread. It was clean and most of the staff was friendly.

I originally gave this place 3 stars but I’m now changing it to one star simply because last time I went, there were flies standing over the food and the staff didn’t do anything about it even though they saw them! They still gave that food to the customers. Luckily I ordered to go. And even then the bread was hard as a rock and I spent more than ten bucks on three bites of chicken Alfredo. NOTWORTHIT!

Definitely one of the worst panera breads I’ve visited. Asking for anything is like pulling teeth. Dirty, rude service, and lazy management. They stand around talking and socializing with each other instead of doing their jobs. Won’t be back.

I don’t know why this Panera bread is so much worse than all of the other locations that I’ve been to. They stopped carrying salmon and shrimp. Every time I go here, they screw up my order somehow. They are extremely stingy with the amount of noodles in their chicken noodle soup… I had like 2 noodles in my whole bowl. The staff themselves are extremely lazy, and they do not correctly type in your order. I don’t know how many times I’ve been told that my order can’t be made, because they have«ran out» of specific items like pasta… It’s so strange that Pearland’s Panera Bread is so mediocre compared to all of the other Panera Breads that I’ve been to. :( Managers, can you address this please? I’d love to go back here, if you fixed these issues!!!

Manager and staff at this location hang out and socialize while the tables sit dirty and orders come out wrong. 2 stars for the food, which is consistent and convenient. We will continue with take out in the future.

Always liked the food and drinks but a little hick up this visit:(. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and they put sausage on it and they sliced the bread really unevenly to where one slice was paper thin. The cashier had it fixed but he didn’t offer me my free treat that the receipt said that Pandora will do if they make your order incorrectly.

I just had an awful experience that has turned me off from going to this Panera location. I called to place a simple order and the girl said it would take 10 minutes to be ready. I run a couple of errands before arriving to pick up my lunch. Upon arriving the staff are taking their time to help me, talking, playing among themselves. One is laughing at how sticky the floor feels and you can visibly see the trash on the floor where they cook. I tell the girl that I’m here to pick up my order and she laughs and tells the cook if she has my order and the girl hadn’t started it. She turns and says it’s not ready and to give them 15 min. I told them I was busy and that’s the reason I called it in. She laughed and said sorry. It was total disrespect and unprofessional I can’t believe A company like Panera would hire people who don’t care about their job. Needless to say that I won’t be eating their anymore until there is a change of staff.

This location has bad service! We ordered online for rapid pickup, and when we got there, the order was ready and the employees didn’t even know it. It was sitting there on the counter for at least 5 min that we were there. Then when I got home, my steak salad didn’t even have any steak in it!

Ordered the turkey-BLT sandwich today. Disgusting. When I took it back to show the manager he offered to give me another sandwich(thanks) but I’ve decided to eat elsewhere. I showed him the sandwich which had bruised/old avocado, cold and pre-cooked bacon and cold disgusting turkey chunks. He replied that’s how they make them lol. He was nice but it was disgusting. Have some pride: get good avocado, cook your bacon(at least warm it up), toast the bread, add some cheese and heat up the pre-cooked turkey and we would have a sandwich. Oh well.

I’m very particular about my Panera order, which has never been a problem at other locations. Panera usually applies a surcharge to modify your order, which I don’t mind. I like to add a ½ order of sliced turkey(instead of adding double meat, which I feel is too much for the sandwich) to the Mediterranean egg white sandwich. I happen to know you can manually input the preference because other locations have done it for me. It would be helpful if the cashiers at this location learned how to manually change orders instead of simply saying it can’t be done, or telling me I’ll be charged one price(as in a higher price) regardless of what I order. Furthermore, my ciabatta was a little burnt and they were out of Tobasco packets. This location needs to get it together.

This is the second time I have been to this location this week. I love the turkey avocado BLT on sourdough. The parking lot is always packed. So I usually go after the lunch crowd. Service is usually good. And I have never had an order incorrect. I’m on the picky side too.
