Ordered takeout last night and everything was excellent! Wonton soup was homemade and everything tasted fresh! I’ll be definitely coming here for Chinese going forward. My favorites were sesame chicken and pork fried rice. To top it off they even made everything exactly as we asked. We asked that the chicken and broccoli have the sauce on the side. The restaurant was very nice inside and clean. I’ll even come to eat in next time.

Have been living in the area now 6 years and have all but given up on finding a good Chinese restaurant — every time we thought we had one, it went down hill quickly. When the Journal News did an article about open Chinese restaurants for Christmas and listed Wu’s with some very nice remarks about the quality of the food — I looked it up and all the reviews were stellar. So tonight we had our virgin-visit — or take out. And I have to say EVERY dish was clean, good, well-prepared and the owners are a delight! What a nice little shop– very clean and well kept — and it just came through with flying colors. SOHAPPY and hope they stay my new fave! Both my husband and I were very happy! Thanks to all of you who gave it the GO for me to try!

This is it — the unicorn of takeout restaurants, a diamond in the rough. What you get at Wu’s Kitchen is something I like to call ‘clean greasy’ chinese food. As others have noted here and on the restaurant’s previously named ‘Precious Garden’ page, the food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. And while that claim can be made by a few higher-end chinese restaurants in the larger Westchester area, this is the only pure takeout-style chinese food establishment to accomplish the balance between traditional guilt-laden offerings and a gastronomically friendly preparation process. As far as I can tell it is simply a two person operation(husband and wife?), but you wouldn’t know it from the output. The owner is exceedingly friendly and the food is delivered quickly. I encourage everyone in the area who is thinking of grabbing chinese from their local go-to place to please throw Wu’s the business. I don’t want to see them go anywhere and I am certain you will appreciate the notable difference in quality.

This is still Precious Garden, with the same everybody and everything, except for the new awning, and the new name. As the owner’s English is limited, the reason for the name change is unclear. BUTMOST importantly the food is fantastic, fresh, homemade and none of the frozen brought in by truck to every Chinese restaurant in every strip mall kinda food. Dumping egg rolls, etc., all home-made, as are the soups. the chef uses fresh ginger, fresh black beans and fresh spices. Sadly, there is no delivery :( If you decide to eat in, be prepared to be patient as it is just the owner and his wife. Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Westchester, hands down.

Restaurant recommended and glad we tried same. The food was of excellent quality abundant, and well prepared. No overpowering flavors, just subtle good flavor. The tea also was of excellent quality and great flavor.

A great little mom and pop establishment with exceedingly high quality food and the people are just really nice. Do not hesitate to give them any special requests as they always try to accommodate. The dining room is quaint but nice although some would say it’s a little plain, but then again I’m here to eat. Their food is very fresh, and reasonably priced. Some refer to the place as «Precious Garden», in some instances you won’t even see that name on printed materials, but the awning and other menus do indeed say Wu’s… But the identity crisis is acceptable as it doesn’t matter what you call it as long as it’s delicious! The restaurant in kitchen are very clean. Even the bathrooms are very clean, although the non-functioning light in the hallway outside the bathroom can be a turn off. … But in the meantime is compensated by putting a battery powered light there.
