Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered a pint of roast pork fried rice. You needed a microscope to find the roast pork in the rice. The menu listed the price as $ 4.50 for a pint.
The price was $ 4.75. The owner increased the prices, but the old menus are still on the counter for customers to select their food from. The new menus are folded in a basket on the
counter. A sign should be posted. It’s not the 25 cents, just be honest and let your
customers know you increased the prices.

Maybe NOT a true 4Stars, more like 3.5, BUT they are very nice, they deliver fast and they’re accommodating. They will make the recipe the way you like it and the price is right.

I don’t know why people write such horrible reviews. This place isn’t bad at all. I’m a huge fan of Chinese food and I’ve tried places that are absolutely disgusting. The food here taste fresh and it isn’t gelatin substance that you would find in other Chinese takeout places.

I really don’t know why people are pooing all over this place. I guess they haven’t sampled chinese take out over the bridge in the bronx. Let me tell u that it is god awful. Make you find Jesus kind of awful. Their reviews sound like they are talking about the horrible places all over the bronx where the food is drowning in gelatinous sauce that tastes like pooh and you are rewarded with indigestion. Oh the bubblin’…find a toilet and your happy place. No, my dear friends, number 1 is the only place I go to bc I know what crap tastes like, and I choose to love myself and go here. Service with a smile, food that tastes great — what else do u need? My personal faves are the beef w/scallions, fried dumplings, Singapore mei fun, scallion pancake, and cheese wontons. And if u really wanna go balls to the wall all out american chinese, the sesame and general tso’s chicken are pretty good. Don’t expect authentic food. Take your butt to chinatown if u want that.

Unfortunately, I’ve eaten here a 3 times & each time I’m disappointed. The sauces are typically an odd mixture of gelatinous lumps and separating oils.

Well the first time I came here I ordered the sesame chicken dinner combo and it was pretty good. The second time I decided to try the vegetable fried rice and vegetable lo mein and they were both horrible. So bland and no flavor and the veggies had no flavor either. My husband got the general tso for the second time and he seemed ok with it. I like my veggie dinners so I don’t think I’ll be going back there. I was very disappointed, it’s so hard to find good chinese!

Tried this place for the first time and I’ll see to it I never return.
I enjoy cooking myself and have a niche for «fixing» take out problems when I feel they are underwhelming.
Sadly, I had to fix what I ordered after one mouthful. I had to go into my kitchen and added more garlic, ginger, pepper etc. and it tasted better.
No one should have to pay for food that they eventually will have to modify and correct on their own. Ridiculous.

pretty good food for cheap chinese take out. we’ve stuck with the general tsos chicken, fried rice, and some dumplings and haven’t been disappointing. prices are pretty low — so you really cant go wrong. plus they deliver really quickly and food stays warm.

Typical Chinese Take Out Restaurant, but being a local I’m a big fan, because they give you extremely big portions. Their chicken fried rice is tastier than most other take out spots and restaurants around, and bigger pieces of chicken as well. The lunch specials are a great deal, and they deliver pretty fast.
