Simply orders an endoscopy and if there is no hernia or ulcer he simply says take some PPI’s and go else where.
Not the kind of doctor you can sit and talk to. Always rushed and doesn’t actually try to help you figure out the issue.

My review of my experience.

Just turning 50 I was advised from my primary as part of my standard physical or 500,000 mile check up as I call it I should get a routine colonoscopy, and I was referred to Dr. Steiner at Broward GI. In Pembroke Pines on university dr .
Now I had heard a lot about this procedure as many have and was quit honestly scared out of my mind and dreading it, because I have white coat syndrome and im not a big fan of doctors just being honest plus who is? And of course you read all the horror stories on the net as did I, and after experiencing the procedure for the very first time it really wasn’t that bad, I can honestly say No the prep wasn’t fun and it’s NOT. Yep guys and gals I’m here to tell ya it wasn’t fun .
But it was tolerable, U can do it I did, However the procedure itself was honestly Nothing. The morn I arrived for my procedure I was met by a staff that was bar none above and beyond professional,
And they personally see to it that they made a scary procedure nothing but comfortable and totally painless from the start. And with the medications given you won’t remember a thing I didn’t. And before I knew it, it was over just that fast, and I was home having breakfast .
my advise: If anyone is turning 50 and or needs this type of procedure done do yourself and your loved ones a favor, set aside
24hrs of your life from start to finish just 24 hrs and any fears you have ‚
Make your appt.
go visit Dr. Steiner and his staff and DONT let Colon Cancer get you. GET IT DONE
Colon cancer can be stopped but you have to be the 1 to stop it .
24hrs of your life is a small price to pay to stop a horrible disease .

Got an appointment yesterday for a colonoscopy with Dr. Dooreck.
Dr. Dooreck and the staff attention to detail is remarkable. They took very good care of me since the moment I stepped in. They explained step by step the procedure and it started right on time. Doctor came after to share the results and answer questions. The staff is super friendly and professional. These people really understand how to deliver value to their patients.
James called in the afternoon to see how I was doing and Dr. Dooreck himself texted me in the evening to follow up on me!

I am a physician, and needed a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. Dr Jeffrey Steiner took care of me. I also met Dr Yotseff, who is also an excellent and caring GI Doctor. My experience at this office and at the GI Center was excellent. Dr Steiner’s knowledge is deep and extensive. He genuinely cares about his patients. I have the highest confidence in Dr Steiner. The staff at the GI Center is professional and caring. I highly recommend Dr Steiner and his team.

I’m thinking I’ve found my gastro! Dr. Dooreck is attentive, professional, came VERY highly recommended, and, of importance to me, a «people’s» doctor. He’s very relaxed yet remains professional. If you are in need of a gastrointestinal doctor, this is your guy. He even has night hours for those in need of a more flexible schedule.

Very professional guys, was seen on time and Dr Cohen was very knowledgeable and explain very clearly.
