Grand Palms Resort Restaurant La Fontain

Food is consistently good. Never had anything bad or any issues. Love the wait staff very friendly and welcome. Makes you feel invited.

Food was decent. Nothing really bad to say. But nothing of note either. Little high in the price

Hidden off of Pines Blvd. inside the Grand Palms Country Club is a restaurant. It is mostly utilized by hotel guests and golfers however it is open to the public. I like their breakfasts because they are not in a hurry to rush you out the door. The waitresses are on the spot with coffee refills and they are friendly but don’t intrude on your privacy. I enjoy their old fashioned home fries and eggs. The restaurant has a view of the golf course and they have a bar in the next room. It’s a great place to go with a friend and just relax.

We held a couple of events this week at this venue. I am sorry to report that it was a terrible experience. The staff was uncooperative and unprepared. The facility was dirty and not well maintained. There was a huge cockroach on one of the banquet tables. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed. There was a hole in the floor just inside the entrance to the ballroom. The worst part is the climate control inside the ballroom was ridiculous! The vents would not blow air. The circulation was nonexistent. We were all sweating like crazy. Terrible.

We have lived in «Grand Palms» at Pembroke Pines for 16 years. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the many restaurants that operated at the resort during that time span. The latest is «La Fontain». We have not dinned there yet as it just recently opened, but on Sunday, they have a killer brunch that looks great. We enjoy the hamburgers and sweet potato fries and different choices from the lunch and dinner menu’s in the Lounge. Service is excellent especially from «Sparkels». Its always a pleasure to to be able to sit back and watch TV, have a drink and enjoy either lunch or dinner in the Lounge and even over hear the golfers talking about the good shots they made. Doesn’t matter who is operating the restaurant, the food served in the Lounge is always great.
