Jos A Bank

This is one of my husband’s favorite places to shop. Our first time there the gentlemen were ry awesome with him. It was near closing but yet they stayed to take his measurements and make sure he was satisfied with his experience. While I forget the guy’s name he was stepping in for the store manager. I give him a 5 star.
My second experience was not as pleasant. The lady who helped me said she was the store manager. She was irritated with my questions. I needed her to look up my husband’s sizes because I was there shopping for his birthday. Not one of those wife’s who memorize their mans suit and dress shirt sizes. Anyways– I was trying to pull together 4 outfits that included pants, shirt, tie, sweater and socks. There was a sale happening and it wasn’t clearly posted. I kept having to get clarification on which items were sale prices. She was not really interested in helping me. I was annoyed with her treatment considering I spent over $ 500 dollars.

The customer service is phenomenal. The customers themselves can be a pain. I witnessed a man who let his kids run around the entire store while he stood at the cash register looking at the clerk like as if he was wasting his time with the clerk. I stood there feeling sorry for the employee. I did my best to smile and bush it off. I picked up my husband’s suits, which were ready sooner than expected, and was on my way.
All in all, awesome store with great workers. I highly recommend this place.

The service at this store was excellent. My fiancé and his father decided to take advantage of the but one get three free sale that is currently going on and we were all very pleased. We had been to another location and were not happy with how we were treated but the sales people on this store were very helpful and took note of how much we were planning to spend. We don’t know much about suits and they were able to find the right fit for both my fiancé and his father while explaining the difference between the different styles. We are also going to go back to order vests for the men in our wedding.

I decided to rent tuxedos from Jos. A. Bank for myself and my wedding party. Per their policy, the tuxedo would arrive on Thursday, we would try it on, and any alterations that needed to be made would be made and the tuxedo would be ready to go in Friday for my Saturday wedding. I went in on a Thursday to fit my tuxedo and it turns out I needed a slightly larger jacket and pants. They said it would be fixed and that was that.
I sent a groomsman to pick up my tuxedo on the Friday along with his tuxedo. On Saturday, when I was putting on my tuxedo, I realized that Jos. A. Bank made NO CHANGES to my jacket or my pants. By that time, it was too late to do anything about it. My wedding pictures show me looking pretty ridiculous in a small tuxedo.
Jos. A. Bank. didn’t apologize and the store manager gave me a cold shoulder when I confronted him about the situation. He couldn’t care less.

I see that this store has one review, and that it is a «one star». Well, Jos A. bank, here is your second review. And yes, it is AGAIN, another one star. I walked into this store today, to buy my son a suit. He’s 16. There was one other customer in the store. We walked up to the salesman, and my son said he needed a suit. Black. The salesman walks over to a rack and picks out a suit and holds it up for his approval. I see that the ticket reads $ 895. I ask if that’s the price. Salesman just looks at me and says yes. Nothing about offering us any other suits, or asking how much we planned to spend. Just a blank look. Basically saying «take it or leave it». No effort to find any other suit! I’ve been with my husband when he buys suits. They get a feel for what you’re looking for before they stick a $ 900 suit in your face! They give you options! Our visit to this store was very short-​lived. My son didn’t even want to look around. We turned around and left. I guess this place’s suit prices start at $ 895. Either that, or this salesman is a… never mind, let me keep this civil!
We drove less than 5 minutes to the «other» suit store (my Unilocal policy: I don’t mention competetors in my reviews). Who did we find there? The customer who we saw at JAB. He agreed about the prices. Maybe he will be the third review. We bought a suit. So did he.

The service is mediocre at best. You are treated more like they are doing you a favor. I had a problem with my purchase & went back in and was completely ignored for a long time. It was so bad I even contacted the District Manager. I would definitely not go back as there are better places to buy suits with better service and prices.
