Great bagels, but the people are extremely rude. I went there 3 times because of the bagels, but the employees are just simply too rude. They will never see me again.

It’s about the 3rd time my wife and I came here. The breakfast skillet is great and the service is always good. Very friendly.

This is not your ordinary fare. Reasonable prices, wide variety and extremely tasty. I got the Leo … Nova eggs and onions… ummm. So go… Well worth the trip and say Hello to the Mayor!

Best deli food in Pembroke Pines BYFAR! Absolutely delicious, good prices, good service. Some friends are coming to visit from another state soon and I’m excited to take them here for brunch one afternoon. Can’t wait :)

Just average and service isn’t the best. I’ve tried the eggs benedict and he hollandaise sauce was bland. I’ve also tried their eggs and sausage, bagels with cream cheese, and hot chocolate milk and just nothing special. Our waitress checked in on us maybe once and disappeared. She even dropped the check to us with out asking if we needed anything else and we never saw her again. Since we needed to-go boxes(both of our meals had a LOT left over), we went to go pay the check and get the boxes ourselves. Thank god we were sitting at the window because we turned around and were able to stop the bus boy from clearing our plates! The bus boy was nice when I told him we weren’t finished and this could have been avoided had our waitress brought us boxes or even asked if we needed anything else before taking off. I feel you can definitely go elsewhere…

Called ahead to ask about the wait. The gentlemen who answered told me there was only one group ahead and would place me on the list. I arrive a few minutes later and find out I had 5 groups ahead. Not sure why they would lie. On top, the manager/owner likes to favor his friends and seemed to be sitting random friends as they arrived and were clearly not on wait list. The food was good but wouldn’t return as the service was below average.

I am in south Florida for vacation and was looking for a good breakfast, so I read the reviews on Unilocal and was convinced this would be a great breakfast spot, and I was right! I had the vegetarian omelette with an onion bagel and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the ham and cheese omelette and he said it was the best thing he ever had. My mother ordered the potato pancakes and was impressed. Overall the food was amazing and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

I can kick myself for not coming here sooner! Why go anywhere else when one of the best breakfast spots is down the street from me? I came here on a Saturday around 10:00 and only waited 15 mins for a table. I promise you there will be a wait but you can tell that they turn tables quick here. I was seated within 15 minutes and greeted by a waitress who wasn’t extremely personable but she was efficient and attentive considering she had a big party of 9. I ordered the mayors skillet which appeared to be the most popular dish. And with good reason. It was literally the best breakfast dish I’ve ever had. Not to mention that the portion is abnormally large and it can easily be shared with someone else, it is delicious! The potatoes weren’t too overdone and the eggs on top do the trick for me. I’m craving it now as I type this. The only miss about this place is the coffee. It was pretty weak but it wasn’t a big deal. I will absolutely positively be back to Mayor’s café and bring all of my friends & family here. This place is a hidden gem!

This place is awesome. I am so happy I discovered this place about 2 months ago one morning. First of all everything«Breakfast» is delicious. I have not had any of the meats or lunch food as of yet, but I am nothing less than thrilled with ALL the breakfasts I’ve had at Mayors! The coffee is delicious(which is important to me when it comes to breakfast). The PANCAKES are the best I’ve had in years! Omelets and potatoes delicious and nice portions, bacon also very tasty, and the nova is excellent and is just as good as roasters and toasters nova no doubt. My breakfast of choice is always TWO pancakes with 2 eggs over medium right on top. I always walk out completely satisfied with a smile on my face and I’m good for hours! Service is excellent and each server I’ve had, have all been spot on. prices are very reasonable. On weekends expect a wait, but during the week you can usually get a table right away. I just love this place, its my new favorite breakfast spot. and the Mayor is nice guy. Get the pancakes !

This review is based on the experience we had ordering from Mayor’s via the GrubHub app. For those who don’t know, GrubHub is an app which shows you which restaurants deliver to your area, based on your location at the time. Mayor’s was available for our area, so we ordered from them. The delivery estimate was for 3pm, which was about an hour after the order was placed(normal unfortunately with GrubHub). At almost 3pm we get a notice that our order was cancelled by the restaurant! When I called in for more info, GrubHub told me the restaurant simply did not want to make the delivery. This is unacceptable. Most likely they were too busy, or didn’t have an actual presence of mind to give a s**t for their online customers. So, while this isn’t directly related to their food, I’d see be warned when ordering. They might stiff you the way they stiffed us.

A great breakfast place in Pembroke Pines. This restaurant is tucked in a corner behind Mc Donalds in thr Publix plaza on Taft street. They make their bagels fresh everyday so expect a line. The coffee is really good and the staff are sure to refill quickly. We always get the bagel sandwiches with egg, cheese and bacon. They are so big, I often have it cut in and take the second half to go. This is a very small shop. The tables are rather close and the crowds get large but service is fast so don’t turn and head out. It is worth the wait.

Ducked in with Team Sports & Activities Directory to talk video production and it was a fine time, here’s why: * I’d never been * Lunch for 4 was under $ 50 bucks I had lemonade(delicious), grilled chicken caesar salad, and a cup of beef with barley soup and it was all delicious and, well seasoned, and appropriately priced for the portion. I shall return. Cabeza OUT!

Strangely the fact that I can’t stand politicians of either party made me remove Unilocal’s «Secret Six Star of Approval» come on you all know about the Secret Six, it’s not just six unknown historical figures, it’s Unilocal’s happy points. Just press Alt+Ctl+S, it magically will appear. Ok, I lied… gee I must be a politician. See what I mean. Now back to my new favorite deli, the Mayor did something right. What a great little homie deli. I was waiting for our waitress Carrie to yell at me, she didn’t she just shown us her beautiful smile, walked the floor like a model and took our order. Service with a smile, and just a slight pirouette. My nova and everything bagel was great, but for the love of God and all things holy no lettuce, that’s for the goyem. I like this place, I see the Mayor is working equally as hard as his staff, eehhh, I’ve spent too many years of my life dealing with every shape and size of politician to even look for a sole. I hope my kid grows up to sell reverse mortgages to the poor, instead of getting involved in politics, but quite honestly I’d send him to Mayors to see how to run a deli, you got my vote there!!!

This is a solid breakfast spot, it reminds me of a deli. It’s simple and to the point. The décor and ambiance is simple and casual. Even the wait staff is very to the point but efficient so I like it. I ordered a plain bagel sandwich with egg, bacon, and cheese. The sandwich was huge I was only able to eat half. My bf order a bagel with nova and he said he liked it but would have like if it had capers. We also ordered a side of corn beef hash which was very good but borderline almost too salty. They make a mean cup of coffee which I was pleasantly surprised by. 2 bagel sandwiches, 2 coffees, and a side of corn beef hash was $ 23.80. I would definitely come here again.

3.5 stars So every grandparent from Cooper City came to Mayors Café today with the family or today may be Senior Citizen Sunday and i missed the memo but this place was slammed with quite the long wait. I decided to take my bagel to go and went on to Unilocal to find a tasty looking picture. There are multiple lines that develop so please make sure you’re in the right one to ensure your experience is slightly more pleasurable. I… for the record was in the right place thankfully but my wait was a little too long for just a little olé’ bagel sandwich. While waiting, I was observing and I’m pretty sure the popularity here lies in the service. The Mayor prances around the restaurant stopping at every table… he dances, he jokes, he talks, he jokes some more, and then he puts the happy song on blast and makes everyone clap and sing. Thanks to his getting around, he was quick to notice I’d been waiting for food longer than I should and began inquiring with the staff… turns out no one ever heard the bell ring to signal my bagel was ready. So while this place is chaotic and fun, i wouldn’t say it stands out for the food or its ambiance. My bagel was great and tasty, but at the end of the day, this is a regular olé’ bagel shop with tacky décor and real friendly service. I’ll return soon enough to check out some other items and see if I’m convinced otherwise.
