Below average Mexican food. Had the beef burrito, it was small and bland.
Was wishing for any of the other Tex Mex chains during the meal, that’s how Meh the whole experience was.

I don’t come to the mall that often, but I’m glad I did today. This was my first visit to the Taqueria. I ordered the crispy tacos. The chicken was well flavored and juicy. The taco shells were crispy and didn’t fall apart. And I loved the hot sauce. I will definitely come again to try some other selections!

Located in the Pembroke lakes mall. Great taco place when you are looking for taco truck style tacos. I ordered the Legacy tacos, the Z Tacos and a side of Pico de gallo. The Legacy tacos I was not a fan of. The pork had too much fat; which throw the taco off. I loved the Z Taco. It was a classic taco truck taco. I would definitely go back just for the Z Taco and the Pico de gallo.

OMG! Que comida más rica! Es la segunda vez que ordeno los «Legacy» tacos y me encantan. El guacamole fresco y muy delicioso. Se lo recomiendo a todos mis amigos.

Seriously, these are some of the best tacos I’ve tried !
I was surprised to find such good tacos at the food court in Pembroke Lakes Mall. I’ve had so many bad experiences with other Mexican restaurants in the area, it was so nice to find this place at the mall.
Highly recommended!

I’ve been here a couple of times since it first opened, and I have been impressed every single time! I’ve had the z tacos and toztada (with steak) and both have been out of this world. In my opinion, this is one of the best Mexican places in the area. One thing I have noticed is that they do nickel-​and-​dime you for every little thing… I understand guacamole, but lettuce, tomato?! Because of this, I opted for the toztada instead of the steak tacos the second time I visited. It had all the fixings and was delicious.

Recently I have been coming only to the mall to eat here … Even when littly Tokyo was order shut down by food inspectors but this is the 4th time I’m ordering torts and I’m a torta lover. This is the second time they don’t have torta so that’s a 50 percent chance next time they won’t have it … I’m sorry but you just lost a customer. Even other Unilocalers are saying the same thing …

We walked into the mall just to try this place and they did not have most of the tacos on the menu. We tried to order shrimp tacos and all they had was chicken and beef tacos. Never again. It’s hard to find already, just to get there and they don’t have the items on the menu, it’s really not worth the trouble.

I saw this place advertised on Deco drive, it sounded amazing. I drove over an hour away from my home to get here. I made sure I didn’t eat so I was staving. When my fiancé and I got there we say I out side and order sodas made in MX. Like Pepsi and Fanta but the Mexican made ones which were way better than the US versions, theses were made worth real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. But that is where my compliments end. I spent $ 78 for food that was tasteless, it smelt amazing but the flavor even with salt was disappointing. I ended up eating my fiancé meal which was the lesser of the two evils. And the chips were fresh but because they cooked it and left them covered with a towel, or in a container the chips were hot and the steam condensed into the chips. soggy chewy tortilla chips. Need less to say I’m not coming back

Well, i guess all the 5 stars got me too excited. Its not as amazing as everyome claims. Its decent but not the best. The guac is pretty bland with no flavor but the chips are nice and crispy. I had the chicken burrito which was ok nothing out this world and my bf had the fish tacos which he orders at every mexican resteraunt and he thought they were ok as well. I did absolutely love the tamarind juice that they have. Overall, its ok nothing to go crazy over.

I am visiting from CT, and believe I have had good Mexican food. I was a little weary of good Mexican being at the food court in the mall. Wow!!! It’s awesome, not fast food at all, very fresh tasting! I do wish they had fish and shrimp that wasn’t fried, still like it though. The hot sauces were amazing also.

This place is honestly better than Chipotle when it comes to burritos, being a frequent visitor of Chipotle, I only get the bowl from there. But the fact that guacamole AND chips are included at MexZican, the place really does well with flavor too. I’m comparison to Chipotle across the street, the meat had more seasoning at Chipotle, but that’s their signature, the overall dish is really enjoyable at MexZican, Chipotle can get boring. It’s nice to be able to switch and get a fantastic meal here, Chipotle fans should give it a shot.

Why this place doesn’t have a line out the door, is beyond me. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Not a meal you’d expect to get in a mall. Delicious and most def will return.

Yummmyyyy!!! If you are looking for true authentic Mexican food this is your place. Being Mexican it’s hard to find authentic around here. There are some other places in pines but they don’t compare to this place and its inside the mall. The nachos, tacos, burritos, they even have tortas! If you haven’t tried you must… Love this place & will def come back again.

We’ve lived in Texas and in California and developed a taste for the Mexican corn taquitos, so what a pleasant surprise it was to walk into the food court at the Pembroke Pines mall and find The Mexican Taqueria. I had the carnitas and my wife the shrimp tacos. They were outstanding. The filling plentiful and tasty, the shrimp had a light batter. I’m coming back as soon as I can. BTW the tacos are made on the spot FRESH!!!
