Went here on a Saturday night so yes, it was busy, but the wait time for sandwiches was very long. Asked three times for a refill on drinks and the roast beef sandwiches(which they’re known for?) were dry as a bone. Maybe it was an off night but I have no interest in going back.

The old standby… Dined at CM’s for years, and I must say for a bar, its a great place for a quick meal and cocktails. Prices are right and quality for pub food is great. My fav is the Pub Steak. Usually always fresh and not frozen. They also have great steak/shrimp kabobs. Salads are also fresh and well prepared. Service is always excellent and with a smile. Never get an attitude from any of the servers. John and Nicole are the best. Cocktails are well poured for the price. Cooks will also prepare food to your liking or have any requests. Yes, it is just an Irish pub/bar, but you get what you pay for here. Five stars are based on the excellent service you receive and the quality food options they have on their menu as well as the dishes I have mentioned above. A must try.

We stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. I remember coming here years ago for the bar scene, which wasn’t bad. The food though leaves a lot to be desired. I had the dubliner burger and my wife had the shrimp kabobs. Both lacked seasoning and were uninspiring dishes. I doubt we’ll try this place again for the food.

This place is ok with me. Every time I come here I am satisfied. Happy hour is must. the food is good. Try a purple Gatorade. they are the best! Seating is a bit of a challenge sometimes depending on when you go. there crowd is always a mixed one. No one harsh, never seen any hostility or brewing fights. The music is always ok, don’t know exactly what they play, but if it was horrible I would remember. it’s close to home and gets the job done.

Establishment was filthy. Service and food — such a disappointment. My bf used to come here years ago and said they had good wings. Well times have changed and it seems whoever is running this place just doesn’t seem to care about quality, presence or customer retention. Needless to say we won’t be coming back and strongly suggest –unless you’re a regular and are used to this crap or just go for drinks– don’t waste your time or money. One star is for the potato soup and the Guinness. They«ran out» of a draft beer at 2 in the afternoon. Food: sub par bar food. The fries actually tasted freezer burned. Sprite and ginger ale were too carbonated. Took at least 15min to get water served(tap) and an hour for our food to get to the table. We ordered 2 beers, a pepper chicken sandwich with provolone which said it was made with their special pepper trio(I don’t know why I thought roasted peppers, provolone). It was a jarred pepper spread and the bread was a day late to be eaten. Chicken was hard and dry. Two orders of wings; one was supposed to be hot garlic, both came out mild. Also dry and overcooked. An order of chicken tenders that our ten year old twins said were disgusting. Oh and Server 111 at Day Bar 2 your service was horrible.

Connie. Friggin. Macs. This place is a south jersey stapel. Good level of «diveyness» to the place, and that isn’t a bad thing. Been going here for ages. Service can be hit or miss, however the people who work there are super nice. Great prices all around(especially on specials each day) notable food would be the pizzas(it’s that old school, roller rink kinda deal, that isn’t fancy, but you bet your ass it’s tasty) the clam strips(fattest I have ever seen) ploughmans veggie sandwich(ask for hot sauce) bread pudding, seafood box, tuna steak salad… I could go on but the menu is huge. The nachos though I would avoid, not keen on the wings either but to each their own. Been there for early morning world cup«kegs n eggs» aka hungover soccer watching, fun times. Too many memories here(good and bad!) It’s just a great go to, make memories and live life kinda hometown joint. Try it. Worth it.

This place is good, I mean you can’t beat their $ 2.50 sandwich specials. My favorite sandwich there is the roast pork. What you get with the sandwich is more than enough to fill someone as you get the sandwich, a pickle, a bag of chips and order of fries(the fries are $.50 more) but for $ 3 that js not a bad deal. I do feel it needs to be cleaned a bit more but it’s the sandwich specials is the thing that I come back here for the most.

Did not try the food, but they have a wide beer selection and great drink specials. Shuffle board, pool and arcade games didn’t hurt either. Fun bar with a very interesting crowd — it’s a dive bar, after all.

I was directed here on a Saturday night when 2am was just too early to go home. Interesting crowd and really friendly staff made a fun time. The bar is spacious and has a large pool area, and deck with an awning bar for smokers. Lots of food options, it looked just decent and apparently there are tons of specials. Patrons were very friendly and wanted to chat.

Good food, good prices, reasonably prices drinks. Not great food though as even though their wings and fries and crab cakes and etc are cooked to perfection, they just use some wierd sauces. My buffalo wings should be spicy, not have an overwhelming sweet tang to it, same goes for the chili on my chili fries. Their sweet twist makes the chili taste like a sloppy joe. Their crab cakes were freshly made with perfect texture and copious crab, but there was a spice in there that was just… off. Someone in that kitchen wants to put his/her own little twist/flare/signature on all their dishes and it has resulted in some very odd taste combinations. Other than that the place is laid back with good service and doesnt break your wallet.

This is absolutely the worst sports bar in a 50 mile radius of Philadelphia. The food us awful. The service is awful. The place is filthy and it is beyond belief this place ever passed any health inspection. Sucks big time.

Me and Connie’s go back like car seats and fat crayons. I truely know this is one of south jersey local gems. Your initial first look might scream Dive Bar!!! and you wouldn’t be wrong, it is. Lol but that’s half its appeal, it like the statue of liberty on Ellis island in a sense. «Being us your weak, tired, hungry and especially thirsty and we will fill their bellies, with great wings and quench their thirst». Well something like that. Connie’s is a melting pot, literally of young, old, black, white, brown, yellow and green. 30 + flat screens to watch what ever you want. Darts, video games, pool and one of my favs, shuffle board. A awesome deck, second to none in the area. Close your eye’s and pick a dish, you still want go wrong. Art is the top cook been their as long as I have been coming… That speaks volume… As well as the most of the staff, with new additions along the way as with an any thriving business. Did I mention it’s a dive!!! Bar!!! Always a great time, afternoon’s or late night’s. Ooh yea it’s like cheers a little bit, after awhile everybody knows your name…

The place is filthy, and the outside deck and the bar itself is made entirely of of badly stained, old gray Trex, and has to win as the ugliest patio bar in the country. It never seems to get wiped down, and Trex stains easily. We avoided touching it. There is absolutely no effort by staff or owner to clean things or make the place more attractive. Check out the vent in the ceiling directly above the outside patio bar. We ordered the Nacho Supreme, consisting of a handful of nachos and a handful of tasteless cheese for $ 8. Tons of cut canned olives and jalapeño peppers round out this unimaginative dish. The beer list whiteboard is disorganized, illegible and inaccurate. Had to go thru 3 beers before I hit on one they acutally had. Our pregnant bartender was efficient and pleasant. We won’t be going back with so many better places within a few minutes of this joint.

I used to wish I had a nickel for every time I drove past this place and wished I could try it. I have fond memories from when it was the Chowderpot in the 80s. Now I wish I could have all of those nickels for the half hour or so of my life I wasted in this place. I want that time back! Three of us went in, couldn’t find a seat at the bar at all($ 2 sandwiches that day), so we sat in the oversized booth closest to the door. We had no idea who was working there because we saw no employees for at least fifteen minutes. All we wanted was a drink before going on to dinner elsewhere. When she finally did show, and there was only ONE server, we felt bad for her because she’s about to have a baby and they’re making her work this floor alone on what looked like a pretty busy Sunday. What kind of people run this place? They couldn’t get her any help? She said she’d be right back to take our drink orders. That took awhile. I walked over to the ill-lit blackboard where beers are highlighted to see if there was anything I’d be interested in. The list was smeared up and so I couldn’t tell whether they were out of it or someone just liked leaning against the board. There was a group of unsavory-looking females who seemed to resent me even walking over there to look. I seriously did not care about their personal teenage-mentality business — I wanted to see the beer list on the wall. I’d noticed that the fellows in the booth on the other side of us were disappointed to hear that they’d «just» run out of Killian’s. I doubt it. That’s a Coors Light crowd and you can bet your bottom dollar on it, especially since there were $ 3 drafts that day. She finally returns to take our drink orders. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there, honestly. I don’t blame her because neither did we. Well, bottom line, our drinks never came and so we walked out. Three drinks. We blame this on the bartender. How long does it take to pull a beer? I suppose the bartender is also the cook, is that it? I don’t even want to know. Our server would’ve been tipped handsomely, had she served us. And she didn’t seem to care when she was approached by one of us just before our exit. Goodbye Connie Mac’s, and now everytime we drive past, we’ll think of nothing but a negative experience and I still feel dirty from walking in there.

I love this place across the bridge from Philly into South Jersey. I just like ordering their snacks(barbecue wings, etc) and sodas and just chilling for the evening here. Played pool here. It was like what a dollar a game or something like that. They had those music juke box machines where people would select their music and it would play. I like the music people picked every time I went there. It was just cozy for me here. I don’t drink at all at bars, so you know when I feel cozy somewhere it is really cozy.

Basic dive bar but with slightly better food. Looking for awesome salad and organic beef? Try someplace else. But if you’re looking for basic bar food(burgers, fried anything, sandwiches) and cheap booze, it’s a good place to start. Menu recently redone. Couple Irish-y menu options: Shepherd’s pie, Jameson & Garlic chicken, Irish stew. Most expensive menu item is $ 23 for choose-3 seafood including: 1 lb. snow crab legs, 24 peel and eat shrimp, 12 clams, 12 mussels or 4 scallops, which comes with potato selection and salad selection. Most menu items between $ 6 and $ 8. Guinness, Hoegaarden, Smithwicks, PBR, Sam Adams Winter and Yuengling on tap plus domestics, full bar. Cheap specials, especially for lunch and happy hour. Staff is attentive.
