Absolutely awesome. The one downside is that this is not a bed and breakfast. It is a hotel with continental breakfast. The building is amazing. The only thing better than the size of the Jackson suite is the attention to detail shown in the décor. I have stayed at the ritz in New Orleans several times and this place 10 times nicer. The only thing I wish the would do is add a kitchen or work out delivery options from the local places close by. Other than that it is perfect!

We had the Bush– Druck family wedding at the Lee House. 1÷5÷15 It was a great success. Guests coming from out of town, were able to relax in the theme decorated rooms. The ceremony was in the Courtyard and the catered dinner was in the dining room. Callie and Jessica were amazing hostesses.

My wife and I were staying with family while awaiting our closing date on our new house. Having two adults and two kids in a small bedroom for six weeks is stressful to say the least, so I decided to surprise my wife with a night out for just us. I decided to book the Bonifay Suite because of the large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. My wife has psoriatic arthritis and hasn’t been able to soak in a tub since we sold our house six weeks ago. The location and décor was amazing. There are plenty of places within walking distance which is great. After all the walking we did, my wife was excited to hop in the tub and relax. The only problem is that we had no hot water. We were both disappointed(especially since the tub was the only reason I booked this suite), but just assumed maybe everybody else was using the hot water at the time. After our cold shower we went to bed. And I mean bed… not sleep. It turns out the music at The Fish House(right across the street) is very loud on a Saturday night and continues until at least midnight. Oh well, at least there would be a hot shower in the morning. I was wrong… again. We still didn’t have hot water in the morning. When I asked the staff why we didn’t have hot water they said they’ve been having issues recently with the plumbing but it was fixed and it’s working fine. I guess I have a differing opinion on what constitutes«fine». The location is great but for the price we paid, I think we’ll stay somewhere with decent plumbing next time. I would have given three stars if the staff seemed even remotely concerned about this.

This was one of the best B&B’s that we have stayed in over the years. We highly recommend it to all coming to Pensacola.

My wife and I stayed two nights in Room/Suite 7 and truly enjoyed celebrating my wife’s birthday over our long weekend stay at the Lee House. Norma was warm and welcoming. My wife and I felt welcome and at home, whether eating breakfast, standing and chatting with Norma in the beautiful kitchen, or relaxing in the living room with a cup of coffee. Norma was very accommodating. The house is beautiful and new, tall ceilings, spacious rooms. Great location near seville quarter. We will definitely be staying at the Lee House again.

I had my wedding reception at the Lee House in September 2012 and can not recommend it enough! We reserved the entire bed and breakfast(eight rooms) for the weekend and our guests raved. Each room was designed by a different local designer and each is more beautiful than the last! The rooms and gorgeous and comfortable. You feel more like you are in a family’s guest room than a hotel. The courtyard and common areas are also beautifully decorated and provided an amazing backdrop for our big day. The back courtyard is so lush and beautiful that we hardly added any décor. It was perfect as-is. The owner, Norma, gives unmatched service. She is the former owner of a very popular Pensacola restaurant that was in business for over 20 years. She and her husband are the only owners of the Lee House and they have hosted over 150 weddings(I can’t recall the exact figure.) She was present at the Lee House for the entire weekend(she even stays the night in a private room in case of emergencies) and constantly worked behind the scenes to make sure our guests were comfortable and our wedding was perfect. She was always available for questions and made us and our guests feel more than at home. Rain threatened our event, and Norma was on hand with several options(she puts a tent on hold for all events to cover the courtyard) and worked with us to make the best decision. We ended up with sunshine, but I can honestly say that as a bride, I never felt a moment of stress because I knew Norma would take care of the details and make it beautiful. Not to drone on, but I have to talk about the food. We used The Lee House’s house caterer, R&R Fine Catering for our reception and it. Was. Amazing. They worked with us to create our dream menu and prepared it onsite in the Lee House’s gourmet kitchen. We got endless compliments and the chef was always available to check in with us(he even made a few last-minute changes with no problems.) Norma provides breakfast each morning for her guests as well and be prepared to put on a few :) The breakfast is delicious and was also a great time for all of us to sit together in the family dining room and talk. We really enjoyed this time since we were all so busy! All in all, I highly recommend the Lee House whether you’re hosting an event or just looking for a great weekend. They are in a perfect location — the heart of historic downtown Pensacola — surrounded by shops and restaurants, but still just minutes from Pensacola Beach. Norma will work to make your time there perfect and if you choose to hold an event, she will make sure it is your dream come true!
