Main Street Properties

Amy Buker is a terrible property manager. She allows owners to run over their tenants. She is unfair, abrasive, and terrible to deal with. I have never had problems with any landlord like I have had with Main Street, and especially Amy Buker.

We have rented our home in Navarre, FL for the last 5 years (2 of those with Main Street). Our first property management company was absolutely terrible so many of our friends in Pensacola recommended trying out Main Street Properties and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience.
Main Street Properties was efficient, friendly, quick to respond, understanding of our needs and incredibly professional. They were very judicious in tenant selection and made sure only the most reliable folks entered into contracts for our property. They also staying in contact with us each month and were responsive to any emails we sent their way.
Finally, we are a military family and lived thousands of miles away from our property so we needed a company we could rely on. Main Street Properties is that company. My husband and I were looking for a starter home for our son in Pensacola. We wanted a place while he was going to school and hopefully in the future, nice enough to stay and start a family. Our max to spend was $ 45,000. I know that is not a lot of money, but we felt it was possible. Because the commission would be so low, I had a hard time finding a realtor who would show us homes… unless it was their own listing. I was starting to feel frustrated, till I found a listing that I wanted see under Jake Jensen at Main Street. He not only showed us that home but other listings on the MLS. He showed us many homes and found us us the perfect home that we were able to put an offer in at $ 25,000. We will need to put $ 20,000 in it to make it a ours, but we are thrilled with the purchase. We had better care given to us on this small purchase in Pensacola than our main home on the island or Panama City. Thank you!

Extremely unprofessional! I currently rent from this company and I have had MULTIPLE I mean MULTIPLE maintenance issues and a week would pass by without ANY sort of call from them to even say they received my issue, nothing! They DO NOT CARE or need to get a better maintenance department! Our AC has went out 3 times! And everytime it’s «never anything» or say it’s not an «emergency fix» excuse me?! It’s 90 degrees outside which means it’s even hotter in my house! Plus I have a 1 year old I’m trying to keep cool! And let me add that they for some reason don’t provide screens on the windows here so I cannot open them to let cool air in because of all the bugs and wasps! (Little addition, our fridge water and ice maker do not work, called and told them about it and I was literally told it was not a big enough issue that I have to buy ice cube trays!) Where the hell is my 1100 rent checking going towards!

I have dealt with Nancy Humphrey in many different business situations and she has handled everything with professionalism, ease, and grace.
