They didn’t have the fleece we were looking for, but Sarah at the register was super helpful. Big plus, they honor Michael’s coupons!

Most of the employees weren’t helpful and kept telling me to ask someone else. I had a specific fabric I needed and they didn’t have enough at the one on Dysart but told me this location (Bell) had six yards. I couldn’t find it anywhere and nobody was helping. I asked Vinnie (I think that was her name). She looked all over and we still couldn’t find it. I had to leave to meet my sister and she said she would keep looking and look in the back and to come back to the store. When I went back she had found it! She was awesome, most everyone else was rude. One lady even rolled her eyes and made a face at us when we came back.

You can use competitors coupons and there is no limit to how many you can use unlike the other craft stores.
This location is particularly busy especially on weekends so you can sometimes expect a pretty long wait for the fabric cutting counter.
The staff has always been really helpful and friendly.

A very helpful cut counter. The ladies helped me find fabric to match a project I was working on and was very friendly, took time explaining how to finish my project.

So difficult to find anything in this place. Scanned the aisles forever until I gave up. Luckily, I tracked someone down at a register to direct me. Finally get to the register to check out but the stupid thing wouldn’t scan. Ugh. My last trip here. Either Hobby Lobby or Michael’s next time.

I understand retail sucks but it retail. Do not give my wife and I attuitde because you are tired. Do work retail then.

I like this store. It has a huge variety of crafts, jewelry making and sewing supplies. I’ve always been able to find something fun to do. And I do enjoy the browse!

I love this place if I could I would build my home in here and I would be broke! I took a sewing class that was free when I bought my sewing machine which was very informative! I scrapbook and they have everything I need and the one thing I love about Joanns the most is that they take competitors coupons!

I love coming to this place for all of my quilting and sewing needs. There prices are are good and the selection is great. The staff is helpful. You can also find some good deals here.
I will continue to come here as long as I am quilting and sewing for myself and other people.

I came here for party supplies with my husband and had a difficult time finding anything. Not only did I live with practically nothing after an hour, it took me 15 minutes to find anyone to help me look for something! The cashier was also VERY rude to the guy in front of me and yelled at him for standing in the wrong spot to be in line. Then he was told he could’ve been helped where he originally was. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing since I’ve been going here since I was a kid! Michaels would’ve been a better choice.

This JoAnns is really huge, but some of the aisles are really cramped for some reason? Maybe it’s because of their holiday stuff, but overall in selection and availability it’s not too bad. I found a lot of great craft supplies and it’s fairly priced. Just be prepared to wait forever to get fabric if you go around Halloween time!

I really prefer this location over the Avondale location for one reason, it’s HUGE! The customer service is great at this location, my only gripe is the cutting area for fabric is not set up as well as it could be. It makes the whole corner of the store unbearable when it’s busy (and I’ve never seen it not busy). The line gets pretty long up front but it always moves quickly and check out is friendly.

Within three minutes of arriving, I was at the checkout counter with my item. I wouldn’t leave that store for another 30 minutes.
The lady at the checkout counter told me I had to go to the cut counter to have the item cut to length. I told her that I would buy the remainder of the material to speed things up. She then told me I would still have to go to the cut counter to have it measured.
At the cut counter, I pulled a number that was roughly 13 numbers away from the current customer being helped. Several of the customers in front of me had 3 – 4 things. Some items were more than 30 feet long, and had to be measured 3 feet at a time.
One of the workers realized how backed up they were, and called for some additional help. Once the help arrived, the two workers bickered about how to use the scanners. The original worker then left the counter! Thirty MINUTES later, a single snip of the scissors frees me from my ridiculous wait.
My negative experience could have been avoided if:
1. The original cashier was willing/​able to let charge me for the remainder of the Velcro.
2. The cut counter had an express station to handle customers with smaller orders.
3. The store manager/​supervisor would have shifted resources to the cut counter, which was obviously backed up.

I seemed to be getting lured into JoAnns regularly of late. I have several friends who are crafters who want to just stop by when we are in the neighborhood…
I am amazed. They have everything. Whatever you want to make, I’d bet they have the stuff for it. Just walking through the aisles I thought of 4,876 different things that *I* could make with ease because of the wonderful goodies they had.
Of course, I know I won’t sit down and make anything. I don’t have the patience to learn how to thread a sewing machine… maybe if someone gave me a self-​threading one, I’d think about it. Maybe.
…but with all the crafty goodness of JoAnns… I COULD. And a store that makes you believe, well that’s Disneyriffic!

Always a great selection. This store is always full of wonderful surprises and great sales. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. One of my favorite getaways when I have a few hours to enjoy the shopping experience. Creativity gets a big helping hand here. Lots of classes too.
