I first met with Dave, who came to my house to quote a job to cut down a large white oak in my back yard. He was excellent, very professional, provided me a written proposal. He told me that he would have his wife email me the insurance certificate before we agreed on doing the work.
2 days went by so I called the office. His wife answered. She must have been in a terrible mood because she was very rude. She told me that they don’t send the insurance cert until the appointment is booked and agreed upon. I let her know I didn’t feel comfortable with booking the appointment before I was sent the cert, as agreed upon with Dave. She said «Well Dave doesnt run the office» and «too bad, find someone else to do the work». I said, I will. She said, «oh no, too bad» (very sarcastically) and hung up.
Dave was very professional and would probably have done a great job, but his wife lost the business for him with her rudeness.

Dave Mead has been my go-​to guy for tree work for a few years now. Good honest guy, reasonable rates and he and his crew do great work. Always a pleasure to do business with!

I hired them to cut down a huge pine tree that was very close to the house. They gave the lowest bid and had the best references of everyone I contacted. They did a great job and were very courteous.
