We called earlier in the day to make reservations for 11 adults and got a time for 1830 on a Friday night. It was a large group so it made sense and they took reservations. We arrived at 1820 and we were told our table was given away. We asked why and we were told they other people needed to be seated who arrived before us. The manager came over and told us we never made reservations we were told«we will see what we could do.» This was not what we were told when we made reservations. Not happy however we decided to stay thinking 30 – 45 min was not a long wait and could have a drink. We waited about an hour and still no table although there seemed to be several tables they could have squeezed together but they did not. After 90 minutes we were told to move from one of our small 2 person table in the bar area so they could seat a couple. Basically dividing up our group. Again the manager came by and did not apologize and stated the table was to be used for dinner patrons. There were other tables open but they decided to put them there. We were finally seated about 2015 ish. Tiffany was our waitress did a fine job with 11 disgruntled hungry patrons. The food was good for the most part. My veal was good however the sauce was very thin. Probably will avoid this place in a town I just moved to. Not a great first impression. Hopefully this long review will help this family owned restaurant will get their stuff in order.

Took forever to get our food, ordered and people that got seated before us got their food and paid before we even got our entrée. Can’t comment on the food yet because they are closed and we still have not got our food yet

The waitress was very nice and try to do what she could, however never come to eat it was just awful, the philly cheese steak tasted like a bucket of salt and old, my wife and her friend ordered the burger cam out raw, I thought it was mooing that’s how raw it looked, they took it back to cook it longer, it was so bad they had to make another one. I would never come here again and the management still made us pay full price for bad food !!!

For this town, adequate would be a good assessment. The booth we sat in was literally falling apart. The service was ok. I got the lasagna and it was drowning in cheese, and thats about it.

Totally adequate. We stopped for a quick bite at the coffee shop on the corner but they had stopped serving. Split a grilled chicken sandwich and fries with the better half and it was perfect. Hot sandwich, crispy fries, all good. Quiet atmosphere at mid-afternoon anyway.

A few of my team members were itching for a bar experience, so on the last night of our project we went to Rusty’s. If this purchase had been out of my own pocket, I would have chosen somewhere else, and I would be unlikely to return. I don’t give a lot of negative reviews, and the drinkers on my team really seemed to enjoy the wings and beers. The menu is interesting, and boasts«authentic Italian» meals, steaks, and typical bar vittles etc. However, everything appears to be 20% more expensive than it should be. Rusty’s seems to have an identity crisis between being Perry’s go-to dive bar or a classier sit-down restaurant. The food was decent, I had the crab cakes. However, our server was borderline rude. She was unfriendly, and I asked for the sauce on the side. The sauce was not served on the side, and she made no effort to remedy this or acknowledge my extremely simple request. She took a long time bringing out the food, asking us what we wanted, and was in general very grumpy. Given the lackluster ambiance, over-priced dishes, and service, personally, I would not return. I guess if you are looking for a place to sit, play darts, eat wings, and drink beer this is the place for you, but that’s just not me. Sorry Rusty’s.

Great food! The prime rib was excellent and the 10oz was enough for 2 people. The fettuccini was ok, better if chicken was grilled.

Meh… nothing special. Food was good not great and nothing special I couldn’t get at a chain restaurant. I had the fish sandwich and coleslaw. It was fine. Service was slow.

Went last night, fantastic service! I think two must have’s here are Jimmy’s Famous Salad(with the house dressing) and the awesome garlic rolls. Like the salad and the rolls, many of the Italian dishes are holdovers from the now closed Angelina’s. The chicken parmesan was great! My wife got their shrimp pasta dish, kind of a Cajun pasta that has a kick to it. I’m not a seafood guy so in the past they’ve made this dish for me substituting chicken for shrimp and I loved it.

Lots of choices on the menu. Some classic Italian dishes, steak and prime rib, and fresh Let me say that again FRESH seafood! I had the scallops and shrimp in lemon white wine sauce Six each cooked perfectly and served over angel hair Very good. I ordered extra lemons for me to suit my taste. Huge serving. The salad is iceberg but the cheese, beets and home made dressing made it very good The garlic bread is yeast rolls smothered in roasted garlic The service was great. Waitress was cheerful prompt and knew the menu This is a favorite local unpretentious spot. Everyone I asked to suggest a good local restaurant mentioned this I’m coming back tommorow night to try the prime rib And did I mention a full bar…

Service really sucks today! You’d think they would be prepared for the Dogwood Festival. Stay away if you don’t like long long wait for rude servers. Update:Sweet Emily saved the day! Updated to 3 stars from one. Apparently someone showed up late for work. Probably couldn’t find a parking space!

I got the Philly cheesesteak, which comes with a side of au jus for dipping, and it was very good! My friend got the meat ravioli, and she loved it! I think next time I’ll have them prepare my Philly with marinara sauce. The fries were undercooked, and rolls were too garlicky for my taste, though—

Fantastic prime rib, generous 14oz was done perfectly. Busy but good service. Wait was 30 min when we arrived. Sat at the bar instead and Beth took good care of us. Nice non-chain spot worth a visit.

The wings here are better than buffaloes wild wings. The fried pickles are the best. Friendly little town restaurant. They just need to work on filling the tables instead of keeping tables empty and telling customers there is a 30 minute wait.

Rusty’s bar and grill was good, and for a small town it was great in comparison to the options. I can’t say I was blown away though. The menu was sandwiches salads and Italian food. The food was flavorful and the rolls were great. The next thing I look at is ambiance of the food is spectacular, I’m looking for a reason to come back for more, but it was just okay. Overall It was good, but I’d rather make the 30 miles down to the road to Macon then come here again.

Rusty’ sis a great place with good food and for the price it damn well better be lol. I had the 14 oz prime rib with mashed potatoes and a garden salad. The garden salad was excellent which was to be expected. The mashed potatoes were good. The garlic bread was excellent by the prime rib was good but didn’t blow me away. The price tag was high and to be expected. It’s a high end place with high end prices and good food, the food is better than most, but didn’t blow me away. Maybe my expectations are to high lol. I’d go back for sure though and encourage you to when you need a better than average meal and need to impress a client or your wife needs a break from cooking. Getter done. Bring your wallet.

If you like steak this is the place to go. I have eaten here twice this week. I had the prime rib and tonight the black and blue ribeye. Both were awesome. The salads are fresh and the dressings are awesome. The rolls floating in European garlic butter are the devil. Give them a try.

We actually ate here twice during a recent trip. The first meal was good… I had the salmon, which was a bit overcooked and dry, but still tasty. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the vegetables, rolls, etc. were DROWNING in butter. It was over the top. We went back a few days later and had the«famous» prime rib. I’m not sure what’ it’s famous for, but it isn’t the flavor. Three of the 6 of us at the table ordered it, and none of us could eat it. Tough, so fatty, no seasoning. The service, however, was top notch both visits.
