Bare European

Just got my air-​cooled Porsche 911 back from Josh with a laundry list of things to do. Josh was not only very fast with getting it all done, but the quality of work is great. He gave me an honest assessment of what additional work I should think about having done in the future. Basically I got a top-​notch PPI (Pre-​Purchase Inspection) for free in addition to the quality work.
His prices on parts are very reasonable, and same with labor. I kind of feel like a fool after spending thousands of dollars at other shops only to get the skeevy-​mechanic lines after everything. Josh not only did better work at better prices, but he’s honest and forthright.
And because he’s so good and reasonable, he’s my wife’s best friend now because I’m no longer spending hours in the garage making a mess of things in an attempt to DIY :)

I took my Toyota Yaris to this locally owned body and repair shop for some work, and he not only was fast and friendly, he also was concerned about other things he noticed with my car. He mentioned them out of concern and I felt as if I was being taken care of! After this interaction I know that from now on I will be choosing Bare European for all of my automotive needs.

Josh Bare is an excellent communicator and technician. I found him on Craigslist about 6 months ago and have used him for my troublesome 02 & 04 BMWs — I have not been disappointed. Josh has been able to diagnose each problem and service the vehicles with precision and accuracy.
Despite the fact that I’m in Southern Marin & Bare European is in Petaluma, I will continue to use him indefinitely because he is supremely qualified (he was recently employed by Ferrari, but left to start his own shop) and I find him to be the most trustworthy technician I have ever had the chance to work with.
