Awesome Place. Located right in Petaluma about 9 miles from Sonoma State University. Pricing is great and the flavors to choose from in the protein is outstanding which destroy the competitors. They have flavors like Blueberry, Vanilla, Strawberry/​Banana, Orange, etc. Very glad I found this new Vitamin and Supplement shop. There is no pressure to buy and you can even sample some of the products which is great for finding that perfect flavor! Keep up the fantastic work. P. s. Shaker Cups are only $ 2.50!!!

Max Muscle is by far the best place to go for supplements or any nutritional advice. On many occasions Melissa has spent her time talking with my husband and I on what would be best for us individually in conjunction with our works outs and lifestyle. We have never felt rushed or pressured into buying. She’s easy to talk to, friendly and well educated. Look no further, Max Muscle is the best! Don’t fool yourself by going to that other three letter joke of a nutrition/​supplement store!

No doubt the best sports and fitness nutrition store in the North Bay. I was referred by two of my friends and stopped in and met Matt. What a huge help! Amazing level of client service and most important, he took time to hear my story and learn about my goals. From that point, he made some suggestions for the correct products that are suited best to my specific needs. They also do nutrition planning and they really care about their clients. I cut up my GnC card while I was in the store. This is the last and only place I will purchase my supplements from and it is worth a drive if you are not local. LOVE this Max Muscle. I have shopped with them for years at other locations but since recently moving to wine country, I just started shopping at this location. The owner is very kind and helpful whenever I come in and their guy Matt from the Marin store is awesome. Places like GNC are a huge letdown which is why I will give this location all of my business. The place to go for Quest bars! Thanks y’all!

I needed to find a place to buy my supplements and didn’t want to go back to GNC. I googled Max Muscle and was thrilled to see there was now one in Petaluma. I went in and the owners were very friendly and knowledgable about their products. They didn’t try to sell me anything that I did not need or want and were a me to answer all of the silly questions I had. I have returned numerous times for my supplements and vitamins and have always received that same great customer service.
The InBody machine is also a great tool for people who are trying to lose weight or gain muscle, plus it’s always fun to see how much muscle mass and your body fat composition. They’re very knowledgable about meal plans and making meal plans to suit your needs.
Overall, I would recommend this store to anyone looking to buy supplements or vitamins.

My husband and I came across this shop when we were walking around the neighborhood. We haven’t seen many nutrition stores other than GNC & Vitamin Shoppe so decided to stop by.
The store is really nice and roomy inside. I like how the shelves are pretty open so you can be in view of the associate if you have questions. Most other nutrition stores are so wide and spread out that you would have to walk around to find someone.
The associate Matt, who’s from the Marin store, helped us out. He gave us some samples and mixed us up some of the Gourmet Pro protein (which we ended up purchasing — the chocolate caramel is delicious). He’s very knowledgable and professional. He gave us some magazines and a couple of bottles.
Overall I loved this store. We will be returning to Max Muscle Petaluma and I recommend it!

This was my first time at the Petaluma location but I’ve been to Max Muscles before. SUPER nice and more importantly knowledgeable people. As far as expensive supplements go, max muscle has always been reasonable. I was able to work with the staff to figure exactly which one product fit the two needs I wanted to address. Instead of pushing two products on me, we found the solution in one more cost effective alternative. I will definitely be returning!

I really like this shop, been in a few times just for a couple of things. Really friendly customer service, and a great knowledge of their products. They have just about anything you’ll need depending on what you’re training for, and I liked that they don’t try to sell you a «membership» card, like other nutrition shops.
One more cool thing is their body composition scanner. If you’re wondering about your lean mass-​bodyfat ratio, it only takes a couple minutes to do a scan. For me, knowing that info is what kicked up my motivation to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Glad to see that these guys are on Unilocal.They are really cool and I have already made my first purchase here. We used to have to drive all the way to San Rafael for these fine products but now I can just go here.

I’ve been using and buying supplements on my own for years now. But when I stopped into Max Muscle Petaluma, it was a completely different story! Rather than fumbling around guessing at what I really needed to get the most out of a supplement plan, the owner himself took the time to talk to me about what my goals were then walked me through exactly what would help me and what wouldn’t. He didn’t try to upsell me, he just explained what everything was, why it would help and why the Max Muscle products were superior, without trying to sell me a bunch of garbage I didn’t need. I really appreciated the service and selection at Max Muscle Petaluma.
I’ll be coming here from now on!

There are no other supplement shops that should even be considered in the area. They have anything you could possibly be looking for. The owners Melissa and James are incredibly nice and very helpful. I will be getting all of my supplements from them from now on.
