Went to Dr Haglands office today to try to get my dental records for a new dentist closer to home since my husband is disabled and I must be available more easily. I found an eviction notice on his door, a BIG surprise. I don’t know what is up with that, but might explain why no answering of calls or return phone call. Strange.

WOW it’s been 2 years since I met these wonderful people. Going to the dentist is not stressful at all! Before Dr Hagland was my dentists, I always needed so much work and it costs so much money. He is very honest about the issues and it’s not always a ton of work and $$$. I don’t welcome the toothaches but I am blessed to be a patient of this fine dentist and staff! I have referred my grown children and everyone I know to this office. God bless them! Petaluma is lucky to have them!!!

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Haglund. Every time I came to him I noticed he was extremely moody and usually in a bad mood, which he sometimes blamed on his health issues? The last time I saw him he was so offended by my asking for a toothbrush, which he said that he didn’t carry in his office, that he retreated to another patient during my appointment and made me wait for an hour while i tried to hand clean the molar that had come unglued. He said that I should do it myself and that not all dentists carry toothbrushes! Kind of like a gas station that doesn’t carry gas.

I’ve had nothing but great service from Dr. Haglund and his staff. Lots of patience, a friendly atmosphere, compassionate rates for this old guy, and a dentist with a sense of humor! For all that, I’ll put up with a dentist who chooses to not work a 40 hour week! I just feel fortunate that he’s still willing to work at all!

Because Dr. Haglund was listed with our dental plan, I called to check them out and request an appointment. The very«frosty» receptionist told me in a snide tone, «We are not accepting any more patients from that plan. It does not pay enough and we put a cap on it.» Perhaps this is where Lili Tomlin found her Ernestine«operator» character to impersonate in Laugh In, way back when… This after we enrolled in the plan, paid premiums, and my husband chose Dr. Haglund from the short list offered to us. Good to know how unprofessional BEFORE we went in!

Hard to get a hold of during their limited business hours. The receptionist returned my call and said, «We’re only open 4 days a week for 6 hours a day. I think you should find another denist, kid!» I’m in my mid 20’s and I’ve never been treated like this before. I don’t understand what kind of business turns away customers.

Dr Haglund took a lot of time out of his day to give me a comprehensive second opinion and he charged me a minimal fee, since it was out of pocket. He is compassionate and his bedside manner is comforting. Sally, his office manager, was so very helpful and caring. I couldnt have asked for more and I am so happy I have found a new dentist. Bonus: great views of the petaluma river from the patient chairs!

My sister set up an emergency visit for my 9o year old mom who is poor, the receptionist told my sister blue cross would cover it, i called today to confirm that and the rude receptionist said we already have your credit card number as back up and wouldnt disclose the extraction cost,.so i said i would cancel if she wasn’t going tobe upfront-she then said $ 175+, that’s certainly not included given that she has medical/western dental that is free but lousy-she cancelled the emergency appointment and hung up after i asked if she could give her some discount with blue cross and she said no-then called me back hr later to cancel her future cleaning appointment and wouldnt speak to my 90 year old mom who was suffering-stay away from this terrible place, there viscous rude liars and to be avoided tell they fire that bitch!

Dr. Haglund filled my first cavity(I am 27) and I was nervous! The procedure was pain free AND cost less than I originally was told. His office staff is friendly and helpful and when I had questions about my insurance, Dr. Haglund went through the paperwork with me himself and explained everything. Dentist chairs have a great view of the boats in the marina also. I would recommend Dr. Haglund and will continue to drive from Santa Rosa to be seen by him.

I’ve been to six dentists in the last 20 years but none have been as good as this office. You can expect integrity, professionalism, and quality work. I’ve rarely received such good care from a dentist. I recommend Dr Haglund to friends and family without hesitation.
