Super Subs

You have to look very carefully to find this place when driving downtown. If you don’t look carefully you can miss it right away. Luckily I have spotted this place many times and have finally took the time to try the place out and I was not disappointed.
The place is located in a small shop with a store full of old movie posters. The place has over 15 or so different types of sandwiches and each one seems delicious.
As for my visit, my brother and I ordered the Bullit BLT and Five-​O. I have to say the Five-​O was very delicious. I believe it was mostly due to the sauce the owner mixed it with. As for the Bullit BLT, it was a good typical BLT.
Each sandwich sub cost about $ 6.95. Not bad if you compare the price to the sandwich size because if you do then the price isn’t bad. However, the BLT was a small sandwich in white bread so in my opinion I did not feel it was worth $ 6.95. I imagined it to be in a soft roll, but it wasn’t. So when you order, read carefully and get an idea of how the sandwich will turn out because even though the BLT was delicious… I was bummed of how the quantity did not match the price. I understand quality over quantity, but since I am comparing the size and price of the Five-​O to the BLT… it was a big disappointing.
Besides that though I really recommend this place. There is a ton to try.

Friendly service and a unique menu. Portions are generous. The bread is good and very tasty. $ 7 for each sandwich.

This place is AWESOME!!! All of the delicious sandwiches are $ 6.95 and are huge!!! My husband and I have been a couple of times and have had ‘The Godfather’ (italian meat madness) ‘The Five-​O’ (hawaiian style with chicken and pinapple) A Philly Cheesesteak and more. Oh my they are sooooo good. Nice fresh bread, hot meat and gooey cheese.
What I love the best is that the gentlemen who work there are super friendly and sweet and give you suggestions when you are stumped by their amazing options. You always get a sweet piece of candy for after your sandwich and the last time we went he even gave us some authentic Indian Chai tea.
The ambiance is quant and the bathroom is clean. A winner in my book! We are looking forward to the next opportunity we get to go!

I have been here twice now. I had the same sandwich both times so I could see if they were consistent and because the first time I had the Petaluma Chicken sandwich it was AWESOME! It has green olives and red, yellow AND green bell peppers in it. I had it on a toasted sour roll with melted pepper jack the first time and melted swiss the second. I preferred the jack over the swiss for this sandwich. The consistency was pretty good. Each sandwich I had as delicious!
My companion had the Spikoli and it didn’t agree with him. Lots of meat that tasted yummy but it was hard to digest. The next time he had the French Connection and he said it was delicious. The Au Jus was not salty and the cheese was melted perfect.
They also have a really cool Blue Chip Pinball Machine. Go there. You will not be disappointed.
