This was a very successful experience to feed the family after a long day on the beach. Just like the atmosphere of this place(50’s — Elvis all over the place), the good old forgotten customer service experience was TERRIFFIC! Thank you, fantastic hard-working people, who served us on Saturday, August 1 night! The menu selections are great at this place. The staff is very enthused about their environment, and their enthusiasm is permeating to us — the customers. The music is awesome. The food tastes wonderful and the pricing is fair. They offer a vast variety of the shakes and ice-creams too! The cherry shake was fabulous. Children got their food in the carton cars for a dish — IMAGINETHAT! So cool. Overall — no worries when you go on vacation in this neck of the woods and do not bring food — relying on this place will be worth it.

Good frozen custard but the workers don’t wear hairnets in the kitchen and don’t wear gloves. The girl actually poured the pecans into her bare hand and put them on a sundae, after she had handled money. Gross.

Alright, I ordered the flavor of the day which was«Rice Crispy Treat.» Need I say more??? I am still trying to dream the taste back it was so good. Girl was adorable who waited on me. Next time I am getting the large and forget the small(no watching the waste line here, no way). AND… I am going to try their strange bean hamburger. It is a little pricey, though. Felt like I was on Happy Days set. I did have to lower the stars as the past few times I have been in this shop the customer service is really lacking. Not Lizzie but girls are slow and act like they don’t want to wait on people.

Closed for the winter. I only get custard here and I get it to go. Creamy without ice crystals. It’s the best custard around.

Burgers were nasty. Hot dog nothing special. Fries were cold. Custard was very good. Would go back for ice cream but never eat here again.

Love the bob-in! Great spot, fun atmosphere. My dad went there when he was a kid, the place has been around forever and it’s one of my favorite spots in the Petoskey area. Awesome. Love! The concretes are the best. Ask for the thin mints. So good!

Cruise by for some home made root beer, a custard or something off the grill. I came through here in the winter, and just had to try their frozen custard. It was quite delicious, maybe 3rd best I’ve had, behind legends in chicago and st. louis, so we’ll give it that, the décor is definitely something for a camp site, it has a room for birthday parties, and hula hoops for the kids to play with. for sure a place to come and grab a snack.

MMMMMMM. Good frozen custard. I got a small and it was the perfect size. The medium looks like a large… There is a huge menu here. Impressive. Thank you, Bob-In for that little slice of heaven.

Our family ate the last night. 3 of us had burgers. Our fourth had a Chicago style hot dog The meat was fresh and delicious. All were cooked well. Toppings were fresh but probably not locally grown. Our son had a shake and said it was excellent. The fries are thinner but not shoestring. No complaints. The onion rings had more breading than we prefer. I definitely recommend Bob’s after a long day on the water or hiking in the woods.

May we all please take a moment of silence for Custard. *pause* Ok. Thank you. Custard is my weakness. I really only have it when I visit up North, because for some reason Texas thinks its too cool for Custard(lame TX, lame). Whilst driving into Petoskey I see this little gem on the side and immediately yell«PULLTHE F*$K OVER!» Walk up to look over the HUGE menu. You can get a shake, sundae, cone and/or concrete style with your choice of topping and either vanilla or chocolate custard. I chose to get the Chocolate Tuttle with Vanilla. Carmel. Hot Fudge. Pecans. Died. BF got the same only with walnuts. 2 minutes later we get our order, get back in the car drive to a park and watched the sunset. Amazeballs. So smooth, creamy and thick. They make their custard with egg whites(which I hear is better), I honestly can’t taste the difference. The inside has food too, burgers, dogs… etc. But I can get that at home. So I stick with custard!!! The restaurant itself closes at 10pm and the walk up window 10:30pm. I know these are their summer hours. Simple and easy. Yumminess crack.

Good burger and shake. Not super cheap, but I think if your looking for a burger, dog, and fries, this is a good bet.
